Hope the management have a success. I had stayed b4 and really enjoyed the freedom of the area. On this stay the management were trying to keep things going and make a go of it. The young girl on reception worked tirelesly doing various jobs. Our room was lovely and handy for disabled access we had the freedom to come... More

I just realised that the centre is closed. I knew it has had problems in the past but hoped it was on the road to recovery. MY friends and I have had two great stays at Derrynoid and would have returned for more. Last time we paid for Brendan Gormley to give us a guided walk of the Sperins. Without... More

Booked the Derrynoid in dec for a stay on 5&6 of jan. arrived after a 70 mile journey neither groupon nor the Derrynoid told me it had closed down. I was close to tears sitting in the car outside a closed down building. I'm not sure if anyone else turned up like myself and left in the lurch I tried... More

Booked this hotel conference center on a groupon deal. on arrival we were showing to our room. The building was damp and cold, the room was musty. We decided not to stay and made our return hour and half journey home which we thought was worth it. Fortunately we complained to groupon and got a complete refund.

We stayed here for a night on a groupon deal. Room was clean but a bit cold. Shower ok but water only lukewarm. Dinner was fine and breakfast tasty. Staff are really natural which puts you at ease.

Travelling from Belfast it was easy enough to find and well sign posted until we passed through Drappertown and past Derrynoid forrest, finding the entrance in the dark was very difficult and took us to... Derrynoid is situated a short drive off the main road from Derry to Belfast, right in the Sperrins. Adjacent to the centre, you will find a beautifully quiet forest, excellent for bracing Spring walks before breakfast. I've stayed at Derrynoid several times for business conferences, and have always found the varied conference facilities of a high standard, with well-equipped training... More

We travelled to the Derrynoid Centre at the end of November using our livingsocial deal (one night). To be honest it was'nt quite what we were expecting (the weather did'nt help). I was unaware we would be accommodated away from the main building and have to go outside to visit the bar/restaurant. At the top of the steps into the... More
