We were in the area for three days and found this delightful hotel. It operates much like a B&B with breakfast available in the morning. We had a Terrance room so we could sit out in the morning or after a day of touring in a peaceful setting above street level. Good value and worth repeating.

This is a two star hotel placed in Tarascon, a good place to visit many places in the Provence. Is like a bed and breakfast, but the owners carry the hotel (small hotel with 11 rooms) with full dedication and kindness. Recommendable the junior suite with spacious extra room and terrace.

We found this hotel via this site and couldn't have been more delighted with our stay. A small hotel that reminded me of holidays to France as a child, the owner who speaks perfect English absolutely made the stay unbeatable. Kind and knowledgeable, he helped with finding a nearby parking space and carried in bags, he asked about where we... More

The town of Tarascon, though well known to travelers to Provence, normally is overlooked because of the proximity of their more famous neighbors, Nimes and Arles. However, this makes the hospitality of the Hotel de Provence both astonishingly friendly, affordable, helpful, and of high value for both budgetary and satisfyingly relaxing peek into medieval antiquity very accessible. The proprietors of... More

This hotel is inside a quaint building, with many interesting decorations that reflect the local traditions. It was full of the area's atmosphere, so just on our second day to France, this place endowed us with a vivid sense about where we were. Because of this and because the owner Mr. Rich was there all the time to help and... More

This is a good old fashioned hotel ideally located close to restaurants, shops and the old city of Tarascon. The owners were helpful with good English and the room was clean and quiet. Our booking read as if parking was free on site but it was really free on street parking.

Quiet situation conveniently located for train and bus connections. Dinner not provided. Breakfast is adequate. Rooms are simply furnished and very clean. Some are rather small and would recommend avoiding Room 5.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel as part of an Inntravel cycling holiday. It is centrally located and Mr Rich the owner was so obliging and helpful. Pleasant spacious room and a varied and substantial breakfast catering for all nationalities.

The hotel offers excellent value for money and is well located in the small town. The proprietors speak good English, and are obviously proud of their region, and eager to show off its many assets. They offer great advice on how to plan itineraries.

We stayed three nights in this hotel. Let me begin by saying the hosts should be working in a much grander hotel. They are exactly what you want for hosts! The hotel was comfortable (we had the suite, with balcony). August in the South of France can be hit. It was steamy during our stay. The air conditioning was wonderful.... More
