The owner greeted us very well even though we booked really late. The b & b is modest but at the center of Oppède, which is a tiny village but romantic, wonderful, intimate, antique and typically French. We stumbled upon it by chance and was one of the most beautiful places of the whole trip! The breakfast is exceptional and... More

We visited on a cycling holiday and after a bit of a climb up to the village (which is stunning) we were very happy to meet the friendly hosts, park our bikes in the garage and get shown into a fairly large, well furnished room with lots of character. The breakfast was good. They had bikes for hire as well... More

We went for a very special meal here one evening as we were staying nearby. Roger was fantastic and a wonderfully interesting host and his wife Laura provided seasonal, regional dishes that were delicious. We would seriously look into staying there if/when we return to the Luberon.

My husband and I had dinner at Belle le Nuit during our holiday in July. It was a sublime experience and I want to return to Oppede simply for this restaurant! We had confit duck and cherry clafoutis, I'm still dreaming about those dishes... Roger (the host husband!) and Laurie (the chef wife) are a great team, and they were... More

Roger is the exemplary host, always helpful with tons of tips and advices. Laura is charming and cooks probably the best meals in the Luberon. The esthetic and pleasant hotel feels like a home away from home. Oppede le viuex, where the hotel is situated, is an authentic old village and provides perfect scenery for evening strolls. We enjoyed our... More

This is a restaurant with home cooked high quality food. It is not open every night so check with the owners to see when they will be serving dinner. One meal is offered for a maximum of 4 tables and it is made with the freshest seasonal ingredients. Laurie is the chef and her husband, Roger, is the server. It... More

My friend and I enjoyed our "once in a lifetime" trip to the Luberon Valley, and after visiting many picturesque villages, we agreed that staying with Roger and Laura was truly the BEST part of our trip. The village itself is simple and beautiful, and not overloaded with commercial signs. Roger and Laura will cook you amazing breakfasts for you... More

This wonderful B&B is located in a quaint, 400 year old village, the Luberon Mountains. Laura and Roger are special people and charming hosts! This was our 2nd vacation here, for good reason, Laura is a gourmet cook and Roger compliments her food, by being a gracious host! Don't miss their 3 course dinners, offered in the old bakery, on... We dined at this restaurant last night and I cannot rave about it enough. The owners are charming, the village is spectacular, the food was truly wonderful. Don't miss this place! It's only 4 tables and it's in a centuries old bakery. The town is wonderful to explore before dinner. It's a set menu, but they ask about all your... More

Provence has no shortage of quaint B&Bs in postcard worthy villages, but what really set this one apart was the proprietors and their superb service. Roger is incredibly personable and Cathy's dinner was hands down the best meal we had during our 8 day stay in the region (chevre and pomegranate salad, duck breast, cauliflower au gratin, and green beans...
