They were very accommodating when we returned one evening after leaving it too late to get dinner anywhere (apparently most kitchens close at 9 pm). She provided tapas for us and nothing was too much trouble, so we were very grateful. Enjoyed the rustic feel of the place. Made friends with Gaston the cat, and Jet their dog. Good location... I booked this hotel via Booking.com, securing the room with my credit card. After driving 8+ hours to get here (which you should get the GPS coordinates before driving as the road is not listed on GPS maps), I was told that they had rented out my room. The girl who spoke NO English, fortunately was translated by a couple... More

Dear Jonathan, If you booked a room for your hollidays at 8pm before to go, via a website and at 1000 km from your home in a foreign country without to pay 1 € in advance and WITHOUT TO CALL ... What to say about you ? That you're a just bit IRRESPONSIBLE NO ? And after you hope to... More

They confirmed our reservation. Weeks later they came back and said that the room where not available anymore. "They had to prioritize a local person". They speak english but only answer emails in French - very bad attitude. With only 2 weeks until our visit to France we now have trouble finding somewhere to stay.

Charming and such a great lunch - the wine recommendation was outstanding. Lovely setting and the host was attentive and very helpful. We will go back. Our friends would have stayed there the entire afternoon.

During a three night stay at Oppede le Vieux, where we stayed at a neighboring B&B, we dined for dinner at this restaurant and had the menu du jour. all was superb and a conscientious chef. She serves a good selection of local wines and the waitress was terrific. Tried to return a second night at the end of our... More

I have visited this place earlier this week with my pregnant wife. I usually check in advance restaurants on the Internet or in guides. But this stop at Oppède was unexpected and the Petit Cafe seemed OK. Unfortunately, one hour after eating a "mignon de porc" in this restaurant, I have been very sick (nausea, diarrhea). I am glad it... More

This is one of my favorite places! excellent food and service, gorgeous view and ambiance. Very fresh and local ingredients. We didn't stay in the b&b but it looked amazing. We will be coming back very soon!

Oppede le vieux is a must see for any visitor to the Luberon. I had passed through briefly on a cycling trip a few years ago and vowed to return. Jean marie and Michelle are wonderful hosts in this village on the top of a hill with 30 inhabitants. Le Petit cafe has 3 rooms I believe. Our room was... More

The location of this Café is wonderfully romantic. It is on a market square of a tiny, magical medieval village. However, the food of le Petit Café was a big disappointment. In particular, our dessert was below par: a stale and soggy tarte. Quite a shame!

It will be our third visit of the hotel Petit Cafe in September 2011. Thanks to owners, Michelle et Jean-Marie, it is our very favourite destination where we spent our holiday in last three years. We appreciate very much the authenticity, flexible service of owners and staff, warm welcome and excellent cuisine. When we had saw the terace of the... More
