We went to the Logis for our honeymoon. The medieval village surrounding the old castle that was our hotel was beautiful, very picturesque. The hotel itself went with the medieval style, preserving the antique flair of the place. Sadly, that is the best thing to say about this hotel. The staff was mostly nice, but no one spoke English. They... More

Wonderful ancient Property. Be sure to book on the Terrace next to a middle window for best views. Food is excellent. Summer Truffle Menu . . . . Only negative is dreadful Parking - I have suggested many times that they have a Valet to park. Please do the same ! And 5 minutes way is the Maison de Vins... More

We went there for a birthday, attracted by the excellent reputation of the place. The place is super good looking. The owners are very friendly. The wine is good. The food is really good, based on a well balanced set menu. Too bad the staff tricked us when we ordered children food, offering to do special dishes they would like... More

We stayed two nights in room 4 - ground level when you enter but the window, looking east across the rooftops of the town, past the church and out into the countryside feels like you must be 50 feet in the air. The room was small, basic but comfortable, the bathroom a little outdated. If you tend to spend a... More

Don't eat here!! Staff not polite (not including the junior staff)! Menu is outdated and does not have any taste. Overpriced! You eat from a placemat...! French guest get all the attention of the staff. The restaurant manager was the worst ever. Incredible how you can mess up such a nice location. Faded glory!!

This place is special. It's situated in a beautiful medieval village (similar to Eze or St. Paul de Vence) but without commercialism! That's a GOOD thing if you are adventurous. No boutiques. Few tourists. Just tons of beauty and medieval atmosphere. The hotel and restaurant are perfect for this location ... ancient buildings with modern conveniences. The cellar restaurant is... More

We visited the medieval village of Les Arcs sur Argens and enjoyed lunch in the castle hotel called Le Logis Du Guetteur and ate in Restaurant Gastronomique. On a beautiful, sunny day we sat on the outside terrace overlooking the rolling hillsides and town while the bells tolled in a local church. We did not stay in the hotel. Our... More

We arrived late in the afternoon having driven through a massive storm (flash floods had killed several people in the area the night before). So, we were relieved to have such a commanding view of the relatively new village of Les Arcs from the castle in its medieval part. There were some difficulties with the lock both in the main... We met some French friends here for lunch at their suggestion. We ate outside on the terrace on a lovely day. The staff were superb, discreet and efficient. The meal was very good indeed - our friends had St. Pierre [fish] -John Dory I think in English, and my husband and I had lamb. Our starters were lovely as was... More

We stayed here for 2 nights - so very cool - high end castle, great rooms, awesome pool, excellent restaurant. Great service, dreamy location and setting at too if hill, out of the way. Cool restaurants and farmers market in town. Would live to go back and visit.
