24th wedding anniversary trip...first time in 14 years we have went over night away from kids. I was heartbroken when we walked in. Drywall cracking and flaking, front door window broken (has been for a while, tape was peeling and yellow that was holding it in place), back of door had black mold all over it. Only heat was a...

My hubby & I have come here for several years to clebrate our wedding anniversary and we are never disappointed. The Garden Cottage is the best retreat! It's your own private house all to yourself but they still bring you breakfast in bed. There is a jacuzzie, king sized bed, and home baked goods waiting for you on arrival. You...

My husband and I stayed for a weekend in the garden cottage. Very clean, cozy and private. Tom and his father (the owners) were very friendly and served a delicious breakfast both days. It's a prime location but still very private and nestled away. We will go back for sure.

We stayed in the garden cottage and loved it, it was our first stay in Hermann. The room was comfortable, spacious, double shower, whirlpool tub, one of the most comfortable beds I have stayed in. Wi-Fi available, a delicious and filling breakfast was delivered to the room at 0930. Will def recommend to friends and be willing to stay again.

My husband and I stay here every time we go to Herman. It is cute, quaint and a stones throw from Main Street. They bring breakfast to you in the morning. We love the Bay Suite and we always have a wonderful stay here.

$125 a night (with a 2 night minimum stay during Octoberfest) for a hotel I wouldn't pay $40 for. It's called a bed and breakfast but there was no breakfast and the room was dingy and run down. Stains all over the carpet (which was stiff and tacky from years of use). The water smelled like sulfur, and the tub...

We stated at the "secret garden" guest house last year and it was amazing! We stayed at the Schwinn sweet this year and it was hideous. Service was great and the owners are wonderful. However, the Schwinn sweet was run down, stained carpet, VERY dated, smelled musty, and over all was unpleasant. Would give 5 stars to the other accomodations...

My husband and I stayed in the Bay Suite for our Honeymoon this past weekend. I must say the owners are such wonderful ,Sweet people they are very accommodating. The breakfast every morning changed and was all very delicious. The outside patio was a plus we actually sat outside and watched the Civil war Reenactment that was going on while...

My husband and I needed a last-minute escape from STL, and Hermann was the perfect easy spot to spend 24 hours unplugged. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which was beautiful, clean, spacious (with a king bed) and an excellent value for the $150 we paid. The whirlpool tub and double shower (with two shower heads) was an extra treat....

GREAT location, breakfast was brought to the room which was nice. The bed seemed very small, I think it may have been a full, not a queen and very very uncomfortable. Like said previously, the carpet in the sitting area is very stained and needs to be replaced or have a very good clean. Overall, it serves it's purpose and...
