The Captain Wohlt Inn is the perfect place for a romantic get-away, a gathering of friends, or a family get-together. With five wonderful buildings nestled in the heart of Hermann’s historic district, a garden blooming with beauty, and remodeled, modern guestrooms and suites, it is also the ideal place for business travelers, small weddings, corporate retreats and business meetings. Our lodging choices include individual rooms, whirlpool suites, group suites for up to eight adults, as well as, private guesthouses for up to 20 adults. In full, we can accommodate 70 guests. Our chef, Mary Bickmeyer, prepares the Best Breakfast in Town each morning. There are chocolate chip and oatmeal cinnamon butterscotch cookies waiting for you at check-in. They’re the Best in Town as well. For 2018, we will be adding special weekly events, in season, such as special Happy Hours, Ice Cream Socials and Brats From the Grill! Such a nice place to stay with lots of perks! Cookies when you arrive, delicious breakfast brought right to your room, and s’mores in the courtyard each evening. The location allows you to walk to the downtown area, and you have a refrigerator, microwave and wine glasses plus opener in your room.

We made a quick trip to Hermann with friends and I am so glad we decided to stay here. The outdoor gathering location is so serene, and we loved being able to hand feed the bunnies our graham crackers each night during S'mores. The rooms are very nice, beds are super comfy and the pillows are great! Breakfast each morning was delicious and started our day off right. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing I would caution you on is that you have to climb a full flight of stairs to get to the check in and outdoor gathering location. The stairs can be a little treacherous as they are old stone stairs, especially if it's been raining. Do not let this deter you from staying here, just know that you will have to navigate them when you get there.

My husband and I went for a short weekend getaway and were able to reserve rooms last minute. unfortunately, we had to change rooms but the staff was very accommodating. We informed them that we were gone for the day and a few hours later we received a text when our new room was ready and that they had moved our bags to the new room for us. Both rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable with several pillows for each of us. The water pressure in each shower felt amazing. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, making smores, and listening to the live music in the courtyard. The food was wonderful and hot, delivered to our room each morning at 8:30. If we ever make it back to Hermann, Missouri we will definitely be staying at The Captain Wohlt Inn. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and had a great time! Our room was extremely clean, the air conditioner was quiet yet powerful, our breakfasts were delicious, and we appreciated having a fridge, microwave, and keurig. The attention to detail and extra touches like cookies upon check in really make this place special. I would absolutely stay here again!

The atmosphere is peaceful and comfy. The room was amazing and we set outside in the evening at the courtyard listening to live music and drinking favorite beverages. The Inn provided us with a smore's kit that we could roast over a kettle fire. Lovely place and well kept.

It was a nice anniversary get away for my husband and I at the last minute. Was thankful for the location that allowed us to be able to walk to the different wineries, events and eating places in town. Our room was very nice and Brant was great from beginning to end with information about the stay and locations of places to check out while in Hermann. The morning breakfast the evening intertainment and the surprise visit from the rabbit at the
Captain Wohlt Inn was all very nice and relaxing. I have discussed it with my husband and we have both agreed to return for a future visit in Hermann and we will be staying at the Captain Wohlt Inn for that time. Keep up the good service and thanks for the cookies.

Captain Wohlt Inn and Hermann, MO were new to us. We were so pleased with the room, the comfortable bed and the breakfast. The 2 large cookies awaiting you in your room are delicious. The location of the inn is in the middle of everything and easy walking distance of just a block or 2 to the shopping, restaurants, the sites. Yet, it is a quiet block. The nightly fire pit and s'mores on the shady lawn makes you forget that you are actually in the middle of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Captain Wohlt Inn.

Our stay at the Captain Wohlt Inn in Hermann, MO was delightful. Brant was there to greet us upon our arrival. Our room was equipped with hand sanitizer and our delicious breakfast was safely delivered to our room each morning. We highly recommend the Inn for a wonderful getaway.

I don't get it! Reviews were great but I now noticed they were from 2016. We stayed in the first floor of the "blue house." It was overpriced and the room was "spartan" at best, more starker than anything inviting or quaint. They allow dogs but it is certainly not pet friendly. Breakfast is not included and dropped on the doorstep for a $12 charge...not good...go out to eat! Brant's personality is better suited for a different occupation. Would never return.

Not sure where all the good reviews came from, obviously not this place. This B&B is a rip off & was not a good experience! Rooms are not clean & come with complimentary insects throughout the room. Ceiling fans are a joke if your room has one as they’re from the 90’s & wobble around creating excessive noise. The plumbing is dated as the shower will give you a courteous concert of squealing. Had to switch rooms late in evening due to excessive insects in the bathroom. Moved to a plain room with a steep stairway to access. Not a getaway destination by any means. This place was more of a hassle & expenditure than what’s it’s worth. Breakfast was a joke (tiny plastic container with egg & hashbrown). McDonalds is more appealing than this establishment. Room charge was over $300 per night, which was $300 too much. Ended up leaving a night early with of course No Refund considered. Be Ware of this place if you’re looking for something nice, clean & relaxing….. Too many other places to stay for the $$$!!

I'm not sure but, but the owner has a very big dog! Not that that matters, but you may have more luck finding out messaging him on Facebook or emailing directly if you haven't found out yet.
Unfortunately, we don't. I do have one room available next weekend. Would that work?
