Just what my husband and I needed! Great, relaxing weekend. The property is very well taken care of, and Brandt goes beyond to make his guests feel at home. The breakfast was very good, different every day. The outdoor area was so peaceful to sit and relax each night. Highly recommend!

My husband and I needed to get away, just for relaxation. This was our first stay at the Captain Wohlt Inn, and we could barely tear ourselves away at checkout time. We had a Queen room, and it was beautifully decorated and had plenty of amenities: refrigerator, Keurig (with pods), amazing bathroom. The best part, in our opinions, were the grounds. The garden was so lovely and quite large. There were plenty of places to sit, whether you needed a table, a comfy sofa, or a hammock. Flowers and plants were everywhere. On the side of the house was a large areas with adirondack chairs and firepits. There was more than enough room for social distancing, and everyone was very respectful of the space of others. Outdoor areas and seating were disinfected often, and hand sanitizer is availalbe everywhere. On Friday night, there was a very good musician who played guitar and sang. The fixings for smores were handed out, and we had fun roasting the marshmallows over the fire pit. The inn is centrally located - it's right in town. In just a few blocks any way is a coffee shop, pizza place, several restaurants, and places to get a drink -- and shopping, of course. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and breakfast was delicious each morning. We can't imagine every staying anywhere else!

6 of us rode the Katy Trail ending in Hermann Friday evening. Our home at the Captain Wohlt Inn was perfect! Very central location. The beautiful home had all its old character yet the rooms had been newly remodeled. It was nice and cool after a hot day on the trail. Fresh baked cookies and bottled water when we arrived. We then came back after dinner to the beautiful patio and listened to live music provided by Brandt. Definitely would recommend. Oh and breakfast was over and above what we expected!

My husband and I stayed here Friday and Saturday evening May 22nd and 23rd by recommendation of The Trolley Man. The weather was beautiful!! The resort was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The grounds were very charming, several fire pits burning, lots of outdoor seating that was carefully sanitized. We could socialize with other guests while maintaining safe distance! We have cookies upon arrival, Friday night they had ingredients for smores. The breakfast each morning was delicious! The chef Mary accommodated my husband's Keto diet plan. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast!! We called the Trolley Man to pick us up and had a wonderful day winery hopping! Most had live music and lots of outdoor seating! Fun weekend 😊

Will for sure stay here next time I'm in Hermann! The location is central to the area. The main street is a very short walk from here, the food was great, and the hosts were fantastic! They also had a very cool relaxing area outside!
