We traveled to the midwest for the holidays and stayed a night in Hermann while we met up with friends traveling to the east coast. Megan was very helpful and accommodating. She even went the extra mile to get us baked goods from the local bakery in town!! The house is very cozy and cute. It is a recently updated, older home with some character. It is within walking distance to pretty much everything in town. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a more quaint setting to catch up with family and friends.
We stayed for 2 nights At the end of May. We loved the location of this house, right by The brewery and a couple wineries. We didn't take the train but it has a great location to the train too. The house had 2 bedrooms and a cute little patio and porch area. It was pouring the whole time we were there so we enjoyed sitting there watching the train. There were snacks and a bottle of wine set up for us. Plus we were able to use the kitchen too. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend this to others.
We stayed at this guesthouse for 2 nights over the 4th of July weekend. It is very comfortable, clean and such a convenient location. It was well stocked with everything we needed! I would recommend this guesthouse for all who visit Hermann! Additional features: Fire pit Outdoor table & chairs Nice garage Big fluffy towels Hair dryer Bottle of wine to welcome us
Cute house, well-maintained and centrally located in Hermann. It was an easy walk to any where in downtown Hermann. We took the trolley ($15 per person per day) to go to the wineries that were further out. The owners are great to work with. I highly recommend staying here.
This is an adorable, up-to-date, very clean and tidy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house just steps from downtown Hermann. We visited for Ocktoberfest 3-5, 2014. It was our first visit ever to Hermann. There was plenty of coffee, creamer, sugar, eggs, pastries, fruit, juice, snacks and a bottle of local wine in the kitchen, which had cute retro appliances. The home was spacious enough for our party, which was two couples. The bathroom must've had a hot water on demand because we had plenty of hot water for four adults, and the shower had plenty of water pressure. The living room and bedroom were up-to-date. TV was available with cable. Cute breezeway between the garage and house was a nice place to have coffee. Backyard had patio table and chairs and a fire pit (we didn't build a fire). This house was within walking distance of Stone Hill Winery (1.3 miles), but for the farther out wineries a trolley is available. Having a house made the entire weekend much more relaxing. The owners are very accommodating, and were very helpful with anything we needed. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Hermann.…
