Recognized as one of the top 14 B & B's in the state of MO for a unique experience, Abigail's Grape Leaf B & B offers exquisite lodging accommodations that are very non-traditional. Our guests can choose between four unique Hermann travel experiences. We offer two private cottages that are buildings unto themselves and two charming suites that share a beautiful historic row house with one suite being located on each level. Each cottage and suite has its own private bath. All are elegantly appointed with quality antiques as well as reproduction furniture. Each has Queen bed, sitting & dining areas as well as private bathrooms. We also offer TV & Free WI-FI in each accommodation. Lovely veranda. Prime location! We are located in the historic district. The gourmet breakfasts and desserts that are served at Abigail’s are a feast for the eyes as well as the palate and are served in the privacy of the cottages or suites. If weather permits, guests may chose to dine on the lovely veranda.

Detailed Reviews
Great food, very accommodating and concerned hosts, while all the conveniences of being able to walk downtown to the bars, restaurants, and some wineries. Gary made sure we were well cared for, even blowing the snow off the walkway and making sure there was plenty of ice melt. The breakfasts and desserts didn't disappoint! Would definitely stay there again!

This B&B always exceeds our expectations. We have stayed for the last 3 years and each time is a new and wonderful experience. The location allows you to walk anywhere you desire within a few minutes. The nightly desserts and the breakfasts are second to none. We stay at a lot of these type of establishments and this property we always look forward to. Gary and Laurie are the best hosts and see to it that your stay is always comfortable and accommodating. Will be back next year!!

My husband and I stayed in the Milliners Cottage. The antique decorations and overall comfort & cleanliness were more than we could have asked for. Even though there is only a claw foot tub (no shower) it worked out well for just the weekend but I wouldn't have had a problem staying there longer - I loved it! The breakfasts were delicious and we got more than enough to eat! They have a lovely court yard and we were able to have breakfast outside. To top that off we received a nightly dessert that couldn't be beat! This B&B is located in town and made it so easy to make short trips to the shops and restaurants and to come back to the room to rest and start again. The proprietors, Laurie and Gary, are excellent hosts and make you feel at home. Can't wait to get back there!

My wife and I really enjoyed our weekend at Abigail's to celebrate our Anniversary. It was our first trip to Hermann and we lucked out by choosing Abigail's. The room was perfect (we staying in the Happy Wanderer), the bed was comfortable, it was clean, and very well kept. Laurie made breakfast for all guests and it was perfect! Both mornings the breakfast was fabulous. Breakfast was at 845 and we ate outside in a very cozy setting or we could have chosen to eat inside the room. We also enjoyed evening desserts also homemade by Laurie. Gary and Laurie take pride in their place, it's not just another B&B. Gary is extremely personable and will make sure you have all you need to make your stay great. The location was excellent not on an extremely crowded street, but right in the middle of it all! The price was at or below basically anywhere you can find in Hermann and you will not get a better breakfast for sure! The room had really cool decor and theme, it set the stage for a relaxing weekend. This place is the place to stay when you go to Hermann, don't think twice!

My Husband & I spent our 15th Anniversary weekend at Abigail's Grape Leaf B & B in The Happy Wander Cottage. The cottage was beautifully decorated and comfortable; and, as an extra special treat, each evening there is a special dessert left in your room!!!
Laurie & Gary could not be more gracious hosts. They made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in - making sure we had everything we needed in our cottage and what our preferences for breakfast were. Speaking of breakfast! Laurie is an amazing chef! Both meals we had were amazing; but Sunday morning's French Toast with fresh strawberries was AMAZING!!!
The property is a very easy walk to the main area of shopping, dining, and the Hermann Trolley.
We will definitely recommend Abigail's to our friends & family and look forward to staying with Laurie & Gary again in the future.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the English Rose Suite and it was charming and quaint. The antique decorations were nice, the food was fabulous, the room was clean and well maintained. Every morning we had breakfast on the patio/deck and each night a dessert was left in our room. Laurie and Gary are wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome during our stay. You can walk to so many stores, restaurants, the train station, the trolley - so much is close by. We absolutely recommend Abigail's Grape Leaf B&B to everyone!

Wow! Abigail's does not disappoint! My husband and I stayed in the Schiller Strasse Parlor Suite for two nights. It is comfortable and beautiful. The adjoining bathroom is spacious and very pretty as well. The attention to detail is really something. Even as we were getting ready to head home, I kept noticing new things about the room. The breakfasts were delicious with generous portions. You definitely won't go hungry while staying at Abigail's. The desserts were also a nice treat to come back to in the evening. The location was amazing, and we loved being able to walk wherever we wanted downtown. Finally, we can't say enough about Gary and Laurie. From booking through checkout, they were wonderful, attentive hosts. I've already recommended Abigail's to several family and friends, and I'm very much looking forward to going back.

Abigail’s Grape Leaf B&B is a fantastic place to stay. Laurie and Gary are fantastic hosts. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. They have cozy veranda out back where you can sit and enjoy breakfast. And the breakfast…. WOW! Laurie and Gary certainly
spoiled us with breakfast each morning and desserts each evening It’s centrally located and with in walking distance of everything downtown. They gave us great suggestions for places to eat and visit while in town. I would highly recommend!

Gary and Laurie were friendly and welcoming. Their hospitality was excellent and accommodating our wishes. The breakfasts were incredible. Unfortunately, I do not feel like $260 / night was worth the experience we had this weekend. We came here from st louis to getaway for the weekend. This town is frightening. No one here social distances or wears masks. Octoberfest has brought many people from hot spot areas like st louis and kansas city and the people here don't do anything to be safe. Its a shame. I really wanted to enjoy my time here but did not feel safe anywhere I went. This is not a reflection on the owners per se, however I do feel like every business has a duty to keep themselves and others safe.

My husband and I had never stayed at a BnB and we decided when we went to Hermann it would be the perfect time to do so! I’m so glad we stumbled upon Abigails! As soon as we walked into our cottage we felt at home. The decor is super cute and had lots of antique pieces. Very spacious and clean! Breakfast was very good both mornings and the desserts were a very nice touch when we got back at the end of the day.
Gary and Laurie are very hospitable and think of every little detail, down to the ziplock baggie to take your desserts home if you didn’t have a chance to eat them!
Last but not least, the location! Close to everything and we walked everywhere. Was super convenient after shopping to come back and drop our bags and head back out! If you’re coming to Hermann, you should definitely stay here!

Street parking. Should be ample, and close depending on the time you check in. Yes, breakfast and dessert are included.
we really enjoyed our stay at Abigail's Grape Leaf B&B. Very helpful and flexible hosts. I would ask them if a one night stay would fit their schedule. Location is close to downtown and the breakfast was one of the better ones we have had in a B&B. Hope it works out for you.
Presently, we do not have availability for a one night stay on this date
We would love to have you as our guests! Unfortunately, we do not have any availability!
