This place deserves a "10"!! Owners Carmen and Tony, and on-site managers Sawyer and Meghan, put their heart and dedication into this place, and it shows. The grounds are impeccably maintained. The accommodations are spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. The location is perfect - tucked back from the main channel so it's quiet, but close to everything you want to see and do. There are so many activities: kayaking, SUP, fishing (and the cutest fishing hole), fire pit, arcade, pickle ball, tennis, boating and so much more. This place over-delivered on everything, and our group of 8 women - from the U.S. and Canada - couldn't have been more pleased. It's unanimous - we all can't wait to come back.
Went with girlfriends and had the time of our lives! I even tried pickle ball and stand up paddle boarding for the first time in my life. We also enjoyed being out on the water and tying up to some of the delicious local restaurants. Hoping to make this an annual trip and will definitely be returning to the clean, friendly and impeccably maintained Bass Point Resort. Oh yeah... the staff is awesome too! Loved every minute of it!
We had 40 people in attendance. Our cabins were all in close proximity for easy visiting/partying/swimming...you name it! The Commodore room allowed us to all dine together and play games in large groups. The management and employees could not have been any friendlier or more accommodating. If we needed it, they helped us find it! We will be back!!!
This resort is a great place to get together with family and friends. Cabins are being updated constantly. There is something to do for everyone. Game room for the kids, play ground, three pools (2 outdoors and 1 indoor), basketball court, pickle ball, fishing dock, and many boat docks. The couple that manages it, is WONDERFUL! Can’t say enough about them. A very relaxing vacation.
We held a family reunion there mid-week and rented 8 - 10 cabins, all were slightly different and the descriptions on the website are of little use. From the map and pictures it is very difficult to see the elevation differences between the buildings. The hills are steep and the road to the property is gravel most of the way. The staff was excellent and very helpful. There are 2 small swimming pools on site and it is possible to fish from the dock. If you want to get away and off the grid, this is an option.
