Family friendly and nestled in the perfect calm water cove. Memories are just waiting to be made. The Lake of the Ozarks is the ultimate family destination, with world class fishing, watersports and a wide variety of activities that everyone can enjoy! Bass Point Resort is proud to offer one of the last remaining lakeside family resorts in the area. In keeping with the tradition of a family run resort started by the Rose Family founders over 60 years ago, sibling owners Tony DeWitt and Carmen and Stan Larison work alongside a family management team to offer clean and comfortable accommodations, stellar service and some of the most fun you will have at the lake! We believe that you are going to love Bass Point Resort, like the many families that return year after year. When you stay at Bass Point Resort, you are not only our guest but become part of our family. We look forward to your visit!

Detailed Reviews
Our large family of 16( combined adults and kids ) recently stayed in "The Big House." It was our first time ever to Bass Point resort but it was recommended to us by friends of ours. It did not disappoint! Not only was the house adequate but the resort amenities made it ideal for a family with children. It was so handy to be able to walk everywhere on the resort to the pools, fishing dock, swimming dock, etc. and to not load everyone into the car and pack up the car each time! Also very friendly and accommodating staff! I would highly recommend this resort!

I've been to Bass Point numerous occasions have never been disappointed. The fishing has always been good and you can always find someone willing to tell you what to use and where to go to catch more fish. Whether you want to swim in a pool or swim in the lake it's never far from one of the cabins. I love to take my folks down and fish and spend good quality time with them on the porch or near a camp fire. You can always find a cabin big enough to fit your crew. They have one bedrooms, two bedrooms, three bedrooms up to the big House which is five bedrooms. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Our group of over 20 people (3 generations) have been coming here for 7 years in a row (some of us for 8 years). Something to offer for everyone. There's a swim dock in the lake, 2 swimming pools, and a kiddie pool for the littles. There's a community room if your whole group wants to gather together for meals, etc. A great playground right in the middle of the resort. They also offer horseshoes, pickleball, kayaks, a lighted fishing dock, lots of boat slips, firepits for s'mores. The cabins are comfortable and clean. Each has a comfortable deck for relaxing. The grounds are well manicured and have plenty of room for the kids to play. The managers, Mike and Christa, are top-notch and so friendly and accommodating. As soon as we check out, we book again for the next year. It's tradition!

When your late 20’s and 30 year olds say “A plus trip, Mom” , you know it is a great place to stay. We stayed in #40 which has a King and 2 Queen bedrooms. The deck is shade covered and made a nice place to relax after a day on the lake. The beds were comfy and having a pool onsite was great! We saw others playing pickle ball, but we spent our days out on the water. Thank you for providing a relaxing place to unwind as a family!

Great spot to take my boys for our father/son trip. Pools were not open yet, but that was OK, we were mostly there to fish. The lake levels were drawn way down to make room for spring rains, that had a negative effect on the quality of fish and fishing in the bay, but we dropped a camera off all the docks, and the structure is there to draw in and hold those famous Lake of the Ozarks crappie later this year. Close enough to the attractions in Osage Beach and Lake Ozark, I would bring the entire family back later in the summer.

Bass Point Resort is in a beautiful setting. It was clean, comfortable and so relaxed. Our cabin looked like it had recently been updated.
Christa made us feel like family as soon as we arrived. We will definitely be planning another trip back!

This was a beautiful resort! Our shared deck looked out over the water. The place was immaculate. The couple (Krista and mike) managing it were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed visiting with them! Our unit was one that we shared with people next to us and above! Very quiet!!

We do not rent boats, only kayaks and stand up paddle boards. We do have a very close boat rental option at Millstone Marina. They can be reached at 573-207-0277.
No, but we do have a few hairdryers in the office that can be borrowed and kept in your cabin throughout your stay.
Both pools have steps going in. The steps do not have a handrail.
Good morning! Bass Point Resort is not easily accessible for handicap individuals. That being said, we have had guests in wheelchairs successfully navigate cabins 5 and 6. Those cabins have no steps into or out of the cabins. Once inside, however, the doorways are quite narrow and would not be able to fit the chair inside the bathroom. I hope this helps. For more specific questions, feel free to call us directly at 573-374-5205.
