The a/c has to be set on 65 to keep the humidity down. The beds feel moist at a normal temperature. The lighting in the room is awful. There is too much furniture in the room. Overall, this is a building that needs to be knocked down.
This place was great! The rooms were big. The bar/grill had great food. The service was good. The restaurant was even better. The staff was courteous, very friendly and helpful. I do recommend staying here. There was one thing I didn't like and I believe it was due to COVID restrictions, you had to call for towels, wastebaskets to be emptied.
Beautiful hotel! Front desk very friendly as well as breakfast staff in the restaurant. Rooms clean, spacious, with comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. Hotel smelled very good! We usually stay in STL area several times a year but never even heard of this hotel. A hidden gem in a beautiful suburb! Would recommend and stay again!
Easy check in prior to arrival was treated to a junior suite upgrade. Friendly staff and shuttle driver. Nice outdoor pool very clean and refreshing. The building and grounds are very clean. Plenty of free parking lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Stuff that bugs you.... Executive lounge permanently closed, you get $15 toward a breakfast buffet that with tip is $25 and not worth that. Bathroom is very small in the room tough to get ready in there.
I selected this hotel because it was near a public library venue where I wanted to attend a lecture. It worked out well. This is a convention type hotel with multiple buildings. I was on the first floor, just off the lobby, which was convenient. There are two restaurants--once just for breakfast, the other for lunch and dinner. They are good, convenient, and comfortable. Good service. The dinner restaurant is almost like a sports bar, with Cardinals games playing during the season. The pool is outdoor and looked good, but it was too cool when I was there. I used the fitness room, which was a good one. My room was clean and comfortable. My experience of the staff was positive overall. The hotel is also just across from an upscale mall.
The staff was so very cheerful kind and helpful it was like being in a movie! From the time I arrived til I left they helped me with effortless kindness . As a grandmother traveling w two small toddlers they were beyond kind and helpful. At the door , At the desk, In the restaurant, room service, the food, EVERYTHING!
I had meetings in downtown STL and Creve Couer, so this was an excellent option. The rate is less than downtown hotels. If you don't mind a little traffic, it works. They had a restaurant, but no free breakfast. Place is fairly quiet, a little traffic noise. They hold many events in the conference area. I was on the other side of hotel, so you have to negotiate crowds in hall. Plenty of parking and a safe area. Being a Diamond member you receive 2 free drinks and 1/2 appetizer. Bartender seemed bothered to serve a free beer. Plenty of restaurant options near by. I will come back.
This hotel is in a good location to get around the St. Louis metroplex. It is an older hotel with rooms for meetings. Breakfast buffet was ok. Beds are a little older. Front desk lady was very nice. I am a Diamond member and still got charged for breakfast less a new credit they are giving. Not enough to cover expensive breakfast. I could have stayed at a Hampton Inn and it might have been better.
Convenient and easily accessible with plenty of free parking in a safe location. Clean. Spacious with lots of space in commons areas for visiting and relaxing. Very competent and pleasant staff members. We spent the night and attended a family wedding. Every detail was perfect. Reasonably priced for what you get.
Completed a multi-night stay at this property. Did not eat at the hotel or use any of the facilities, but all seemed nice. Room was large and in good shape despite some wear and tear. I don't know if no one else was near the room, but it was very quiet. Easy access to the freeway and thus most of the metro area. Only complaint is that there was nothing cleaning done during the stay. Most everything else has returned to normal so not cleaning rooms as a COVID measure is silly. Seems like merely a cost cutting measure at this point
