Had a little trouble finding the room they did give a map but still no building marks. We found a guy that works there he did a better job then the front desk guy.Room was nice clean and price was fair which is rare.
First the good news - hotel is clean and has a quality look and feel in the lobby. Rooms are less nice, but ok. Bathroom shower didn't get remodeled when the rooms did and are dated. The bar/restaurant feels more like a cafeteria but fine for business. My iron was dirty and didn't realize it until I was ironing this dirt into a white shirt. Friendly staff behind the bar. No issues here, except that a side conversation reveals that they are powerless do make any exceptions to rules "per management". The front desk on the other hand is a disaster, up to the manager (Alex). Had a slightly complicated reservation that was actually two separate back to back bookings. I do this often when I business reservation but want to stay an extra day for personal reasons. I've done this at least 50 or maybe even 100 times in my 75% travel lifestyle, and having Hilton Gold status. They completely screwed this up - my keys expired within 10 hours of my check in. So having my keys redone, before midnight, I asked that they fix it again and double check. Next morning - housekeeping waking me up not knowing about my second reservation. Things get really bad from here - I had some conference calls I needed the Wi-Fi for and their system would not let me sign in. The woman (her name is India) who took my call was particularly rude and when I simply asked for a "Promo Code" so I could just bypass the sign-in, she straight hung up on me. Calling back - no answer. I've never seen this happen in 15 years of travel. I had to call through my cell phone to get someone and finally reached a manager. The manager (Alex) gave me a Wi-Fi promo code, but it didn't work. He offered to have new keys sent up to carry into the new reservation - which was fine, and said this should reset the Wi-Fi. It did not work. So I called back and the call went in short like this: Him: "We don't control the wifi, It's AT&Ts system, we can't really do anything except call..." Me: I've missed two meetings now - I don't really care who the vendor is - it's your responsibility to make sure you have a working system, and you should have a promo code as backup" Him: We don't have a promo code. Is there anything else? (I guess he was done with my problem, regardless that it was not resolved). I was a bit surprised by this. Me: Yes, I don't really appreciate being hung up on when trying to resolve this Him: She says you swore at her, so we don't allow that... Me: I never swore at her. Him: I have no reason to think she's lying and I heard you swear earlier... (I never swore at anyone). Me: I hung up. Now I'm furious because I was being accused of swearing, which I do not swear - everyone knows it just gives low level customer service people an excuse hang up on you. They don't record the calls here, so there's no record. So - if you want to stay at a hotel with lousy service, incompetent staff, broken systems and a manager that will allow his people to hang up on you and then lie about you swearing - you'll love this place. Otherwise find another hotel - this hotel is bad for the Hilton brand.…
This is a well maintained hotel. We have family in the area so it was also a convenient location. The rooms were spotless! The doors to rooms had seals on them acknowledging that they were disinfected and staff wore masks. The restaurant was open and served a variety of entrees. If you have breakfast i hope your lucky enough to have Neicy as a server!
We had a great stay. Beautiful and very nice hotel, looks new!! Great friendly staff. Good prices. Definitely will be back!! One of our favorite hotels in the greater St. Louis area. Such a nice city and perfect hotel!
Staff was so nice. Nice pool. This hotel smelled so nice. I thought my hubby booked the king deluxe but he booked king room. Bathroom was kinda small. Next time we will definitely stay here again but we will get the deluxe king suite.
