We loved everything about our stay. The host were amazing, the surroundings were beautiful. The wine, cheese tray and chocolate covered strawberries were delicious as was the breakfast. The couples massage was so relaxing. We will definitely be back.
We loved our room accommodations and it may be better in the summer time, since we had the cabana pool house room, but the grounds are beautiful. We got to see the migrating geese and the food and coffee was exceptional. We plan to return.
Absolutely fantastic! Well maintained property that was so inviting and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and all the little touches made our stay memorable. The room was unique and comfortable.
I've stayed here 3 times each time a different room. very comfortable & interesting history. The Innkeepers had a nice dinner/supper planned for a little extra special evening. I'm sharing pictures of dinner served a long with champagne 🥂 Earlier in the month they also had "a Celtic Christmas Tea". I've included those pictures as well. You will enjoy your stay & want to return as well. You can view their YouTube videos as well Happy New Year 2023!!
Beautiful bed and breakfast with very gracious hosts. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the beverages available and easy to enjoy in a very nicely decorated area. The only negative comment is that the snacks provided throughout the home were all sugar snacks which diabetics must not have. So, it would have been nice to have some savory snacks available.
We spent one night in the Casbah room when we were in Excelsior Springs for a wedding. The hosts were very nice and gave us a little tour with history on the home when we arrived. There were different rooms on the main floor where you could sit and relax. They had an amazing coffee machine that made espresso, lattes and cappuccinos. There was a large selection of tea bags and some Smoked Bishop to help yourself to, as well as candies and snacks scattered around. The room was cozy and clean. The property looked beautiful but would be easier to enjoy in warmer weather. The breakfast was very good!
This is a beautiful mansion. We were very pleased with the views, the interior of the home and the breakfast. All pictures are true. We have been in such a drought in Missouri and Kansas that the crescent lake is down quite a bit The little walk trail was beautiful too
We went for our anniversary & stayed in the Garden room so we could have the private hot tub. We purchased the romance package & were treated with the best chocolate covered strawberries! There is a romantic walk around the lake. It was the perfect stay.
Best place for destination wedding! The Inn and the family are wonderful. It’s an oasis that you never want to leave. They were so kind and made our wedding and stay exceptional. We will be back!
My wife and I decided to spend our 10 year anniversary here. It was a blissful oasis. The on-site masseuse started our vacation in perfect relaxation. We did a local wine tour, and when we came home that evening we utilized the Jacuzzi in our Suite to help us relax every night. The food was delightful, and even local restaurants praised the food from the Inn over their own selection. This was easily the best B&B experience we’ve ever had and we will be coming back.
