We visited Eminence over the 4th of July weekend and very much enjoyed our stay at Shady Lane Motel! We have no complaints and plan to lodge at Shady Lane again in the Fall! Can't really tell you if there was WIFI available because we were to busy enjoying the view! VERY MUCH ENJOYED OUR TIME AT SHADY LANE AND... More

Stayed here 2 nights, had 3 booked but the bed was sooooo uncomfortable we could not stand to stay another night! We did not sleep at all, even after kayaking for 15 miles 2 days in a row!! Unless you like sleeping on a rock, i DO NOT advise staying here!!!

Since 2004, we have used hotel/motel foundations and mattresses from Justice Bedding and the bed in question is new and was put into service in February 2016. Justice beds are quality beds and they are used in many nationwide hotel chains. I've noticed Justice beds in Drury Inns and Stoney Creek Resorts while staying there. Hotel beds are firm, supportive... More

A group of 7 of us stayed at the motel for 3 nights. The owner and employees were very nice and accommodating. They are small rooms with one full bed in each room. However, they were clean and the showers were great. We will stay here again if we take a trip to the area. There are also cabins and... More

My husband and I took a trip to float the Jack's Fork River, and we stayed for 3 nights at Shady Lane Cabins. We had a large cabin with 2 beds, a small fridge, a fire pit and grill that was miraculously clean of ashes every single morning. The trash in the yard was always empty as well. The room... More

Good location in Eminence. Very clean, comfortable rooms, lots of room inside. Very quiet. Like the chairs on the porch, and the firepit and picnic tables. Convenient to the shopping area across the highway from the cabins.

All in all, the visit was ok. The TV in the small cabins are so small that you cannot see them from either bed and we never could get a decent channel; they were all fuzzy. Definitely need to upgrade the TV's. I also think everyone needs their own fire pit out back instead of having to share with their... More

Traveled with friends and stayed in cabin #12. Top floor had kitchen w/ two beds, bathroom, kitchen and TV. A/C work well. Bottom floor had two beds, bathroom and TV. Clean place. Horseshoe pit and grill was available. We rented kayaks from Windy's (not far from Shady Lane). Enjoyed our water trip from Alley Springs to Eminence. Enjoyed dinner at... More

So leary of staying somewhere on the river but after reading reviews settled on Shady Lane. Stayed in cabin 1. Furnishings are not the newest but very very clean. No stains, no dirt, no dust, no smell. Very nice and great price. Grounds are very tidy and nice also.

We have previously stayed in one of the extra large (two story) cabins with family, which I highly recommend. This time around my husband and I ended up getting one of the hotel rooms, which was perfectly adequate for our needs. We stayed in room 101, the first room to the right when you walk in the door. The room... More

We intend for all of our equipment to work, so please report any problems to the office. Subsequent guests reported the lack of hot water in M101, and it has been fixed. Thank you for staying with us at Shady Lane Cabins & Motel. Your business is greatly appreciated, and we hope to see you again in the future. More

Found Eminence and decided to stop at Shady Lane on a cross country trip not knowing the area at all. I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing natural beauty of the area and loved the little town. Quaint, friendly and authentic and just what I was looking for. Got in late and the owner was very friendly and helpful and... More
