First time at Echo Bluff Park and Lodge, and it was not a disappointment. Loved the view from our room balcony. The fireplace in our room was an added treat. The decor in the lodge reminded you of staying in a mountain resort. Was very pleased that the lodge was following strict CDC Guidelines during this pandemic. There were lots of hiking trails and a picture paradise. Down the road from the lodge we were so lucky to see one of the herds of the Ozark Wild Horses. There are lots of natural springs in the area and my favorite was Alley Springs. Highly recommend this lodge.

This was our fourth stay at Echo Bluff and frankly, we didn't know what to expect. The others in our party (8-9 people) cancelled due to Covid-19 worries. We kept our reservations for a lodge room and were glad we did! All staff and most guests observed the requests to wear masks and observe social distancing. Because of the persistent rain, dining outside on the great patio was not possible. But the dining room allowed guests to take food to their rooms or sit at well spaced tables in either of the two rooms available. We were able to time it so we could eat mostly by ourselves. The food here was never outstanding before, but this year there is apparently a new Head Chef, as well as new management, and the change is a huge improvement! We enjoyed the Fresh Mushroom Strudel, the BBQ ribs and the Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes, as well as the potsticker appetizers and their strawberry cake and Blackberry tart for desserts. All were delicious: the meats juicy and tender. Even the vegetable sides were done properly, not limp and overcooked. Staff was friendly and welcoming and very helpful on two separate occasions. With the Lodge's special Covid-19 adjustments, Housekeeping will not enter the room for stays under five days, although the front desk will send up fresh towels or coffee supplies if requested. We felt no need in our three days to ask for housekeeping and brought our own preferred coffee pods for the Keurig. Room was clean and comfortable, and the gas fireplace was a nice treat on the cold wet days and nights. Our only problem was figuring out the TV and Direct TV channels on the first night. Had we called down, the mgt. would have explained it, but we didn't bother them. We booked our room for the following year! It's a tradition with us now.

We'd heard so much about this place, so planned a fall trip to see for ourselves. Despite the rainy 2 days, there's no mistaking what a beautiful place it is. The entire park is new since 2016-17, so are all the buildings. We stayed in a lodge king with bluff view, large room with gas fireplace, small refrig, huge bathroom, lovely balcony with comfy rockers, excellent for morning coffee. All well appointed and nicely decorated. Could've used more lamp lighting, same switch turned on the entry way light and ceiling light in living area, and it was too bright. Other than that, the lodge is very "lodgy" with a wonderful fireplace in lobby and windows on the world. We had chance to see one of the 2bedroom cabins, and it was adorable, appointed with everything you'd need for one night or an extended stay. The restaurant had a varied and tasty menu, no disappointments in breakfasts or dinners. However, the weather didn't allow their generous outdoor seating, and the indoor dining area is akin to a conference room, so very little ambience, needs some piped in music to help muffle others' conversations, even though tables were nicely covid-spaced. All staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, weather effected our ability to take advantage of the many trails and outdoor activities available, but since we plan multiple return visits, we'll speak to that another time. Plan a visit here, you will be very happy with your decision!

If you love the Great Outdoors you will love Echo Bluff State Park. The views, hiking, wild horses of the Ozarks, Camp Zoe and the parks history of camping, cleanliness, fireplace in each room, restaurant, and outdoor dining that overlooks the bluff is a list we cherished and enjoyed on our stay. We echo the opinions of those who loved it.

Kathy and I stayed in the Lodge in a king room with bluff view. Would do the same next time as well. Perfect for a couple. WiFi was blazing fast not a single glitch. Was able to watch the Chiefs on my iPad (no ESPN on their tv), with perfect reception. This facility is only recently built at a cost of $52 million for the entire development. Lots of elbow room on the grounds, in our room, and in the lodge. Everyone wearing masks for most part so that’s good. Fireplace in room operating from Oct 1st thru April. Balcony to relax and enjoy the view. Only 5 miles or so to Eminence, MO. Used Carrs Canoe Rental to float the Current River. They picked us up at the door and brought us back to the lodge. We thought the rate on the room was fair. We stayed three nights which I recommend. Will return for more. The trails were well done and relatively easy going. Mini fridge had a freezer of some size and worked fine.
