We stayed here in November of 2019 and had a fabulous stay. We stayed here again last night and once again...WONDERFUL! We got a goody bag with chips, candy bar & water when we arrived. Our room was spacious & clean. Breakfast is a little different because of Covid, but hot & cold items are available upon request (just no serve yourself). Once again, James is a delight and great ambassador for the hotel! We will stay here every time we anywhere close to Columbus, MO! Highly, highly recommend!
Booked there for a 6 night stay and I was aware of the price total but for some reason I got charged extra . After checking my account I had over 800 dollars worth of charges from Wingate. Then we were told that keys was turned in for checkout and that was not true. The keys were never lost and they were not turned in. Also I got told that a extra set of keys was made. Oh yes so now I am very concerned if someone may try to walk into the room. Worried about my account charges and someone possibly walking in on you for 6 days. But all the trouble I was put through you gave me 45 dollars off my total stay. Keep in mind I was overcharged 300 dollars. She didn’t even offer a free night for the crap we had to go through. Don’t stay there go somewhere else.
We had a last minute change of plans during a long road trip and decided to look for a suitable hotel along the way. With the use of my AARP app on my phone, I found and booked our stay for one night for a very reasonable rate. The property was well maintained and the staff was very courteous and helpful. We found our room to be clean and well maintained. The bed and sleeping conditions provided some very good sleep that left us well rested for our early departure the next morning. We only regret not having the opportunity to experience the complimentary breakfast the next morning due to leaving so early.
There was a little misunderstanding at the beginning but the assistant manager Amy took care of us and was fantastic because of her we will definitely be back! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay there was nothing less than great!
It would of got a 5 star if the hot tub was open. I don't understand why the pool would be open but not the hot tub. Because using the pool was by appointment only. Anyways our room was nice except the pillows were too stiff. But staff was nice.
