Four years ago, I had the chance to visit the Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis. Even though my first experience was bittersweet, I am so glad that I were to experience this hotel again. Despite COVID-19 and challenges that have impacted the hotel industry, the Ladies and Gentlemen at this Ritz-Carlton location went above and beyond to make a person's stay extra special. Prior to our stay, Yago and Alicia were in touch about our special requests and making sure that these were taken into consideration. Once we arrived, Zach at the front desk was able to expedite the check in process and provided excellent customer service. We were able to book a Club Level Executive Suite during our short-term stay, and it was extremely worth it. The bed was comfortable, the entire suite was spacious, and had a great view of Downtown St. Louis, and Gateway Arch. Due to the pandemic, the Club Lounge is only available based on demand. We were fortunate to make this reservation almost a year ago prior to the pandemic, so we are thankful for the hotel providing this option during these unique times. Xavier, Kenna, Larrione, and especially Kelly exceeded our expectations at the Club Lounge. They were extremely attentive, took care of everyone, and can't thank each one of them enough for the quality of work that they do. Kelly is one of those special individuals that is genuine, and enjoys engaging with guests. She is really an asset to this organization and deserves a lot of credit for the work that she does on a daily basis. The front entrance is currently being renovated, but we were not impacted at all by the work that they were doing, and the alternative entrance in 100 Carondelet Plaza had easy access and did not any issues with Uber/Lyft identified this entrance. Finally, Amira in Housekeeping, Bria at the Front Desk, and Bellmen really worked hard to make our stay our stay extra special, and check out easy as well. We will definitely recommend this location and hope to be back in the near future!

Located in the heart of Clayton with easy access to nice neighborhoods, Starbucks, etc., we enjoyed our stay at the Ritz. Room decor was a bit aged, but clean and classy. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, pets allowed (one-time-fee of $125 for your stay). As of October 2020, the restaurants on property are still closed and there is major construction nearby and at the hotel's porte-cochère; neither disturbed our stay. Spacey, covered parking garage for a fee.

As you would expect for the The Ritz, the style is dark and old style luxury, that is the brand. This Ritz is no exception. The gym is great, the location excellent, the staff is attentive. The sushi bad in the lobby is uninspiring, and the service there slow. Room service is very stingy with shampoo and other amenities for the caliber of hotel. One little bottle of each two people over three days? Covid signs were posted as in a rush. Signs touted the spa, but the spa was closed. Trash was overflowing in the parking. Not what you’d expect at that price point.

We booked several nights at the Ritz St. Louis based on the Marriott pledge of safety during the pandemic. The hotel staff were very accommodating and explained all the precautions taken during the pandemic prior to our arrival and we were anticipating a great stay. The hotel staff all wore masks and there was a plexiglass divider at check in. But, to get to the reception or elevators - you have to walk thru the “Lobby Bar” - where in the afternoon - lots of people are not wearing masks. While drinking in indoor bars is allowed in Missouri during the pandemic- we were not comfortable having to walk thru a bar every afternoon/ evening to get to our room. Honestly- the staff was great and tried hard but we didn’t feel comfortable and checked out after one night and moved to another hotel.

This hotel embodies everything a Ritz Carlton represents. Attentive and incredible service, nice, clean and updated rooms, great food and an overall lovely experience. We originally booked just one night here but decided to extend our trip because we loved it so much. The covid precautions in place made us feel extremely safe. Highly recommend and we will be back.
