Stayed for almost a week for business. It was really disappointing. This is supposed to be one of Marriotts top banners and it felt like staying at a Courtyard. The inside felt very dated and more like a conference center than a top hotel. The room quality was very average with very worm out beds. The only saving grace was a decent fitness center. If you are looking for a top notch hotel I suggest looking elsewhere. Marriott just cant live up to the reputation of their banners anymore - they seriously need to reconsider and decide if they will offer cheap feel hotels at a higher than acceptable rates or if they will compete in the high level luxury service industry. There are better choices today.

The bed was super comfortable and the room in general was a pleasure to stay in for 2 nights. The onsite dining was good (a little pricey) led by breakfast before my day of meetings started. Great location for business purposes and a lot of fine dining in walking distance as well.

I had an excellent stay at the Ritz Carlton St. Louis. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was spacious, and I enjoyed the TV in the bathroom mirror. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. Casa Don Alfonso served a delicious a la carte breakfast menu in the morning. The hotel offers self-parking and valet parking. The hotel's parking is easily accessible and convenient. The hotel is located in Clayton, a suburb of St. Louis. The nearby neighborhood was safe, and I felt comfortable traveling to/from the hotel even during the evening hours. There are several nice restaurants within a short drive from the hotel.

Wonderful! Thank you for the memories! This is a special location, as the cultural hub in many ways of the city. I have also worked here in the past as an event planner, 20 years later still a staple. The banquets dept and lobby lounge did a magnificent job of pulling together a special reunion for 15 girlfriends. Thank you so much! You are amazing. Our waitress so friendly and lovely! Classy and memorable. We can't think Sarah and staff enough. 5 stars.

I typically love staying at the Ritz. Unfortunately, my stay at the St Louis Ritz was not good. The caliber of my hotel room was far below what I expect of even a 3 star hotel. My room was right by the elevator and I could hear it running all night long. The shower pan in the bathroom was plastic. There was an acrylic ADA bench (note- I am not disabled). The shower curtain was plastic. The shower head would not stay put and sprayed all over the bathroom floor. Very disappointing.

This room retailed over $1000 with tax, but I used bonvoy Brillant award travel for my stay. I took into account the hotel was in St Louis, but O was not impressed. I arrived after midnight, no one at check in the phones were ringing off the hook. The valet was friendly(that was expected), nothing special about checking, the room was large and very quiet. I had a small balcony with a ripped curtain. The Ritz? You gotta be kidding me. The colors in the room was muted, Nothing special about th e room, nothing I haven’t seen before for less money. Extremely clean room and hotel(was expected). Lobby was lovely, who cares about the lobby.

Our room was lovely. Bathroom was all marble and spacious. Bigger bathmats would have kept floor outside shower from getting wet. I am an espresso drinker. The cappuccino in the restaurant was horrendous and the cappuccino from room service (apparently a different machine) was only marginally better. Luckily there was a nespresso machine in the room so I could make a morning espresso but not a cappuccino. Breakfast in the restaurant was very disappointing. The croissants tasted like, and had the texture of, dinner rolls. While a good avocado toast was on the menu, the other options were boring and ordinary -- ham and bacon variety. Not even the weekend brunch was good -- more ham and bacon. The cheese selections consisted of squares of cheddar and swiss, not as described on the menu. Although staff members were all very helpful (especially at breakfast), the espresso and breakfasts were not what one would expect from the Ritz-Carlton.

The service is impeccable, and the room is nice-sized with a balcony. Unfortunately, the fabulous experience that one expects from a Ritz Carlton was fatally marred by inferior and uncomfortable mattresses. I had asked for a bed board to be placed under the mattress to give it some firmness, as it is currently too soft to give any support but so far the bedboard has yet to arrive, and I’ve now had two nights of bad sleep. The Ritz is not an inexpensive hotel, and I expect a better sleep experience.

First I will start with the positive. The staff is amazing and very attentive. I was warmly greeted by the front of house team and everyone has a smile. The downside of the hotel is the price point for the quality received. Being a Ritz the expectations are a little higher and the hotel is showing signs of its age. If this were a Marriott at a lower price point the review and expectations would be different.

I was on the 9th floor. The view faced the highway, but it was perfectly quiet. The room was beautiful…great furnishing, luxurious bedding, spacious bathroom. The hotel is ideal for conferences…many spacious ballrooms, meeting rooms, beautiful lobby with ample seating. Staff was extremely helpful, responsive, and polite. Some of the big ballrooms are showing some wear and tear, but overwhelmingly a really great hotel.
