We were in a major bind as another hotel we had reservations at had given our room away, which would’ve made us miss our dinner reservations. I called and Pedro answered. I asked him if there were any rooms available and explained our dilemma. Pedro was amazing. He told us what was available and said he would save a room for us until we got there. When we arrived, he was super friendly and found a better room available. He gave us a discount on the room and took care of our parking charges. The hotel was beautifully renovated, clean and had amazing amenities. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The whole staff was very friendly.

Excellent in every way possible from my interactions my Ryan, the Front Desk Manager, to Kate, who checked us in. We were treated in a very special an unique manner as if we were the most important guest. Would highly recommend the hotel given the excellent service and overall experience. They did many special things for us for our one night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Until next time...

We spent 5 days here for WashU graduation. This lovely hotel exceeded expectations and is clean, vibrant and modern. We were most impressed with the welcoming and happy staff that made us feel like we were staying with friends. Ryan the Guest Services Manager went out of his way to accommodate the slightest request or answer any question with extra kindness and enthusiasm. Lots of restaurants and serene Shaw Park are within walking distance. Love this hotel and location.

Travel before 2020 was fun wrote a review May 2021
Fort Wayne, Indiana678 contributions641 helpful votes
This is basically a brand new hotel. It still has that fresh carpet and wet paint smell. In a city full of outdated and poor value for money hotels, the Le Meridien is one of the best in St Louis. So much potential here. Right now, a solid 4 stars. With some polish, focus on details, and better food and beverage this would be 5 stars. Ryan at the front desk and Tom the bellman were great. Restaurant is great in concept but horribly executed. It’s basically a breakfast joint that has a bar and an all-day menu. Dinner not recommended with Capital Grille, 801 Fish and the Ritz-Carlton within walking distance. Restaurant had cheap wine and didn’t even have an ice bucket for wines ordered by the bottle. Also missing from room was robe and slippers as well as mouthwash. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. For an old Sheraton that was basically gutted floor-to-ceiling, I would have expected overhead lighting. Unfortunately, you have to deal with lots of lamps and switches. Also, there aren’t many accessible USB or electrical outlets, especially at desk. The desk is beautiful but too high and the chair is cheap and uncomfortable. The rooms have no refrigerator or mini-bars. No wine glasses or wine openers. But you get a great coffeemaker and two bottles of water. No newspapers, no local info and no concierge. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel was nicely refurbished and the room nicely decorated. Check-in was easy with the Bellman (Tom) keeping it fun (he trumpeted our arrival and departures!). The restaurant manager (Eddy) was very hospitable and our breakfasts were delicious and the service was excellent.
