Jon and I are beginning our 6th season as owners of Oak Hill Court & RV Park! Over the last 5 years, while maintaining the character of our cabins, we've made several improvements and necessary renovations to our cabins. We've also added a couple of full hook-up RV sites to our already existing campground! If you haven't been in a few years, please come and see the changes we've made! Oak Hill Court is a charming collection of historic cabins built in the 1940's and 50's in the heart of the beautiful Ozarks near Roaring River State Park. The RV Park has full and partial hook-ups with plenty of room and lots of mature trees. There is also a bath house with laundromat. Come enjoy the fully furnished cabins, swimming pool, game room and world class trout fishing only minutes away.

I have stayed at Oak Hill Court for years. I keep coming back, it’s a great location to get away. The owners are very accommodating. The rates are reasonable.
I’ll be back in the spring and fall in 24. Close to Roaring River maybe a 5 min drive…
Have been staying here for over 30 years.

Cabins are nice and clean and pet friendly. Pool is in the sun so you can get a tan. Each cabin has a fire pit and charcoal. Nice little rec room. This is the place to go fish during the day and relax in the evening.

My wife and I camped here twice in 2011. Both times were very enjoyable with a lot of peace and quiet. The owners are very nice and friendly along with the camp host. There are plenty of trees around to provide shade and help muffle any road noise. We plan on spending another week or two there again in 2012. Laundry and bath are located nicely in the park. Bring your own grill if you plan on cooking outdoors because there are only fire rings and picnic tables provided.

What an outstanding campground. We were very pleased with the location, friendliness, value, cleanliness and the pool. The game room was a bit weak and the campsites were a little uneven making it a bit difficult to get our 25' Camper level. But after a few blocks and a couple of tries we made it work.

Another bonus.... TONS of SHADE!

Also, WIFI is a bit weak in the RV section. We were unable to get it to come in and when we did the internet connection was very slow.

The campground HOSTS were wonderful. They helped us hook up our Dish Network receiver to their built in satellite dishes.

The bath houses were very good. Water pressure a tad weak but not enough to matter.

Ice was only $2.00 and wood was $4 or $5 for a nice size bundle.

Pool was clean and fun. You are 4 miles from a nice size town and 2.5 miles from Roaring River State Park.

We were in 8 and 9 and since it was pull through sites, we were able to face each other which made for a nice camp set up. Also, those sites are in the back away from everything but still close to the bath houses and the satellite hookups.

If we go to RRSP again, we are camping at OAK HILL COURT!

We went there for the peace and beauty we saw on the website. This we got. The cabins are rustic and fully equipted with all we needed to make our stay comfortable. The countryside was beautiful with lots to see and do in every area around. The owner gave us travel tips and advice on shows to see and things to do while we were there. It is near a small town of Cassville where we found the people to be so friendly. I loved it we will go again.

-Negative things: Room smelled musky..felt dirty. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. The appliances were all outdated. The bed was low to the floor and very firm. The heater was difficult to adjust because the thermal degree level wasn't marked on the knobs. Poor water pressure.
The website is somewhat misleading: the utensils/cutlery were sparse. There was a coffee pot..but no coffee mugs.
There was a family reunion that had reserved most of the cabins..so even though quiet time was at 10 pm...they were loud WAY past then!

-Positive things: Dish Network and WiFi, clean linens/towels

We appreciate all feedback from our guests and are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. Jon and I took ownership in 2010, the same year your review was given, and since then have made several changes and improvements over the past 5 seasons. While we try to stock our kitchens with basic kitchen items, we also encourage our guests to let us know if there is something missing that they need. While you are visiting with us, if there is another guest disturbing you, please let us know and we will take care of the situation. Thank you again for your comments.

Owners are very nice and always helpful when we have questions, concerns, or needs. Cabins and linen are always clean and ready for us when we get there. Only downside is the kitchens are not stocked very well, but that might have something to do with people "borrowing" things over the years.

We got down to RR about 4-5 times a year, and every time we try and stay here before going anywhere else.

Room Tip: Cabin one is great for big groups. Cabin 12 is good for being away from the other cabins.
