This CG is just off the intestate far enough not to notice any noise. It's clean and well taken care of. Our pull thru was FHU with cable (50+ channels) and good wifi. Sites were level concrete with room for our TV, There is no table, fire ring or recycling. There is a laundry that we did not use. Very quiet with friendly staff. Close to all the necessary shopping needed. We will return.
We purchased an RV next door and took advantage of the offer to stay in the park to learn how to use the RV / setup, and make sure all was fine with the RV before we took it home. We stayed in space 54 which was all sun and sites were too close to each other. There were no outdoor firepits/grills at sites or a bathhouse. There was a concrete pad to sit lawn chairs on. They do offer cable TV, water/sewer hookups. It was good for what we needed but if we were truly camping, I'd prefer cable to be optional as we prefer our WiFi to stream and not have to pay for cable, spaces that are further apart and more scenic areas or walking trails. The check-in process was quick and the employee was friendly and helpful. The employee who showed us to our site made sure we wouldn't hit anything once the slideout was extended. Some employees live at the park and are available after working hours which is great in case of emergencies. Great training for us RV newbies.…
We bought a camper from Coachlight R.V. and we stayed next door at their R.V. park. It was sooo quiet and nice! They called and had a shaved ice truck come setup on Saturday afternoon for us to purchase from and we all enjoyed the cool treat! The sites a large and well maintained. We enjoyed going into Carthage for the day too.
spent 5 days at Coachlight and loved it. Very friendly folks and woodsy setting. Highly recommend. Not far to closest towns and restaurants , Walmart etc. Antique shops in Carthage and more. A great place to just kick back and relax for awhile.
Check in was flawless. Led to site & they volunteered to help. Looked over well equipped rally room & had a fun visit with the staff. One note: No shower/restroom for camp. Just toilet in rally room helped. Ya just gotta bring your own self contained RV.. Most important of all, Staff were concerned for our safety during tornado outbrek & made a big "Safe Room" available close by. When sirens sounded, Staff traveled around park with air horn and escorted all to safety. Many lives were potentially "saved" Well done Guys! By the Grace of God, no tornados hit, but too close for comfort.
Great spot just off I 49, but no highway noise. We stopped in, and were warmly greeted and escorted to our site - we had a choice, shade or sun. Because of the rain and clouds, we chose sun. The roads are paved, and the gravel mostly pull through sites are level, long enough for what you bring, with modern convenient hookups that functioned properly. There is no pool, or many places for children to play, but the cable TV was good, and the WiFi was better than average. There are some folks that live here, and some that stay longer than a couple of nights. What few picnic tables are available, are cemented pedestals on some of the shaded sites. This RV park seems to be affiliated with the RV dealership (same name), and I suspect if you buy there is an included stay here for a shakedown. If you need service on an RV, this might not be a bad spot to make reservations.…
All positive with this campsite. The people were friendly, the roads and sites were very clean and organized. This campground is part of the sales and service facility, so service work is easy to have performed and parts are accessible. Used parts are also accessible near by at Colaw RV and salvage. I purchased an additional storage tray for my class A storage that was almost new looking.
Well we're going to start this out saying if I could give this park a 10 I would I want to start out by saying thanks to Mike and his helper I came into the park for a couple of days and a real cold snap came in the salesman that I bought my RV from never explain to me about propane and how it keeps my water pipes thawed out it got down to like seven degrees and and my pipes and Sewer froze up had no idea what I was doing Mike and his helper work on my trailer for 2 to 3 hours help me get thawed out these guys are the nicest you'll ever meet I recommend this park to anyone that's traveling Mike the manager is awesome I will definitely be back to this place if I have to come out of my way
I love this RV park. Mike Blackstone is the kindest and most caring campground manager I have ever met. The park is always clean and kept up with. It is a great family environment! I encourage anyone traveling through to stop in to say hello!
We were in a group of four 5th wheels. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and the park was beautiful. Nicely layed out and plenty of room for big rigs. Most of the sites are shaded but there is also an area without shade. Sites are gravel and mostly level. We were given use of the meeting room for our group. It is a full kitchen and will seat a lot of people. Very clean room and park.
