This Hampton Inn reflected everything we expect from a Hampton Inn: clean room from top to bottom, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Front desk provided plenty of complimentary bottled water on this hot day. Complimentary breakfast, free parking. We would definitely book a room here again.

This was the best hotel in 3 weeks of traveling. It is relatively new and everything gleams. The bathroom is all white with bright indirect lighting which dazzles. Your eyes need a moment to adjust to the ambience of your room.
Every staff member was friendly and efficient.
A full hot breakfast was served for you by the staff.

Traveled early March (before the shutdown). Easy access right off the interstate, many, many dining options essentially adjacent to property. Anything you could want. Nice Hampton, standard breakfast. I have to say this: there was a tornado warning during our stay. Being from Dixie Alley, we went downstairs, there was an alert given to the entire hotel, and the front staff, I believe, called every occupied room in the hotel. No damage to hotel, but there was in adjacent town. Could not praise them highly enough.

I have used this hotel on many occasions while visiting relatives. I was shocked at the condition of the property. The room was a King suite and it had only 2 bath towels in the room with 2 wash cloths and a single hand towel. They let us know at check in that there was NO maid service unless you request it. I had to ask for extra towels as we were staying for 3 days. The first morning at breakfast I asked for pepper. The kitchen help, Denise, was not responsive to my request. She said it was over there by the salt. I said I did not see it. She said it was under the salt. She finally craned her neck around the door way and when I went to the salt container and started taking out hands full of salt she said again, it was under neath. I finally dumped the entire container and there was one packet on the counter. She said, there it is! I gave her a look like, are you crazy? Then she said I guess I am going to have to put some more in. (What terrible customer service. That was not all. The next morning, we came down and there were only a few openings for people to sit for breakfast. The spot we picked had crumbs all over the counter. We pulled most of the crumbs off the space and I walked over to Denise, again, and asked her to wipe off the table. She said she would be there in a minute. We were standing there for a few minutes waiting for her to come over and after I saw her move from one task to another, without coming over to clean the counter, I went to the front desk. I told the lady what was going on and she said, Yes, Denise called her to come over and clean the space, but she could not leave the front desk until another colleague was there to cover the front . Then I explained to her about the previous day with Denise and she said, Oh, sorry! What the heck is going on with this property? Under staffed? Don't care? I don't know, but I would stay clear if you want a pleasant experience.

After a not so pleasant stay at another hotel arriving here was a breath of fresh air. When we checked in we greeted with smiles and a sense of professionalism. They acknowledged our elite status and provided us with a gift. Our room was clean well apportioned and inviting. No stains or broken pieces nor light bulbs.
We asked about places to eat and were given a number of choices. They were just helpful in everything we asked for The next morning my wife's hair dryer broke and the front office staff provided us a new one within minutes. In our 2 nights there we had interactions with a number of staff. All were pleasant, professional and helpful. Our stay could not have been better.

Service was great, super freindly staff and room was spotless. Linens smelled really fresh, as did the whole room. Very convenient location. Near a lot of eateries. Shopping close as well. Easy access from route 55.

Great stay, highly recommend! Rooms were super clean & comfortable. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was a full meal spread with many choices, not just cereal & donuts. Enjoyed it, plus it helped offset the cost of the room. Other amenities were nice, but didn't really use them.

I’ve stayed in 4 Hampton Inns in the last month, and have to say this one was the best!
Clean, appeared to be recently updated and was located in what felt like a safe area (if you go out the side and cross the street, there are sidewalks to walk on a busy, but definitely quieter street. This isn’t typical of an area loaded with plazas).
Breakfast was similar to every other Hampton - dried cereal, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, eggs dish/meat/carb. I stayed two nights and the hot dishes were rotated with other variants.
Downside: the aggressive bathroom lighting. Which really isn’t the worst thing, but man…. Nobody looks good in that lighting!
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Clean and comfortable. Really appreciate that the remodeled bathroom has good lighting. Only downside was the person in the room directly above who sounded like a herd of elephants stomping around until after 10 pm and before 6:00 am. So annoying! Fellow travelers, do better! Be considerate! Even the interstate noise didn’t bother us like this did.

Hilton Chain Hotels are where we usually stay when traveling. The Hampton Inn Cape Girardeau is, by far, the best of the Hampton Inns. Even during the trying time of the Corona Virus the staff was wonderful, the hotel was immaculate, they did their best with cookies and milk in the evening and plated breakfast in the morning plus the bag breakfast to-go. We love staying here.

Unfortunately, we do not have a shuttle service here at the property to help you with this but we do have a local taxi service that can. Our staff at the front desk will be more than willing to call the taxi for you when you are ready to be picked up.
We do not have a shuttle service here at the property but can call you a cab at anytime that you would like. The casino does have a shuttle that comes to our hotel and goes to and from the casino.
