-we have stayed at this facility multiple times, primarily as is close to airport and offers parking while on vacation at no additional charge- believe this was our last stay- Let’s start at the beginning: —check in personnel are just plain rude- knowing we were leaving our car, asked if we should fill out something or have a paper to put in window and ticket to exit the gated lot—the entry gate was wide open. No to all the above —got to assigned room to find a unmade bed and room—trip back to desk and was given an alternate room that was properly made—since there is no restaurant on premises presently we picked up take out w intent to re-warm in microwave—there is none in room. —went to get ice, machine on 3rd floor is out of service. Back to lower floor and seek out ice machine. —shuttle to airport was on time and no problem —upon return. All in our van were in parking lot and no one had a clue how to get out as the gates were now closed—-someone eventually got the gate to open and we slipped out - —the location is great but the hotel is old and looks it. It has a pool that is within the foyer and thus all the pool noise and the chlorine smell is everywhere- Please someone purchase this property and run it properly—like you give a damn. BTW- there is no breakfast—either for ‘free’ or otherwise—-and the location is such that there is not much readily available —so, for the next trip, we will seek accommodations elsewhere—-you’ve been warned

My wife and I stayed two nights over Thanksgiving this year. We took advantage of their park and fly program to leave your vehicle for up to ten if you stayed at least one night in their property. We checked in on Wednesday only to discover that our room hadn't been cleaned since the last person stayed in it (unmade bed, trash in wastebasket and dirty towels on bathroom floor). We went down to ask for another room which we were given but this makes me wonder about ther claim that they keep their rooms vacant for 72 hrs between guest due to covid safety measures. I can't see this room sitting there in that condition three days. Also they have an indoor pool which my granddaughter was going to come and swim Thanksgiving afternoon but for some reason it was closed and she was disappointed about that. We were told that it would be open. The rest of our stay was uneventful. We left the hotel for our week's vacation and got back 7 days later only to discover our truck along with 24 other vehicles in there supposedly secure lot ( gated where they buzz you in and out and patroled by security) where broken into and ransacked. All the vehicles had windows broken out and items stolen. We lost a small suitcase with the clothes we wore while we was in St Louis for the 2 days we were there that valued about $400. The suitcase was sitting behind the driver seat in the floorboard where it could not be seen from outside as my truck has tinted windows so it's not like we left any items readily available that could be seen. To their credit they did put a trash bag over the window to keep out the elements. We went into the lobby and asked to talk with a manager and was told there was nothing they would do about it and that it happened about 4:30 a.m. and their security quit working at 4 a.m. that morning I was told that the day manager would call me the next day and 3 days later I still have not heard from anyone from the Crowne Plaza St Louis. There are other hotels near the airport that I've stayed at such as the Marriott and the Hilton several times and have never had an issue. While this is a nice hotel it's not worth the risk you take staying there.

The ladies at the front desk at check-in here were the rudest and most unprofessional I've ever encountered. Later I called for towels--three hours later, no towels, had to call again, waited another 30 minutes. Hotel is otherwise fine but the service left a bad taste in my mouth.

Nice big hotel close to airport. It's easy to miss driveway if your not paying attention and it's a pain to get back too. Nice big modern lobby with pool and water features. Room was nice and comfortable, clean and modern. Kureg and microwave in room. Staff was great and price good. Bar in lobby was poor with limited food menu. Restaurant only open for breakfast and nothing within walking distance.

We booked online and got a great deal for what appears to be a very upscale hotel. We arrived and even after pre-booking and paying almost $400 with fees for 3 nights, we were expected to pay an additional 300 in "incidental deposits" $100 PER NIGHT and they automatically charge your card for it so the money debited out of my account. With a 7-10 day expected return if all checks out OK after you leave. That is Money we had hoped to use for fun, food, shopping etc on our vacation. Whatever happened to taking a card for incidentals and just having it on file to charge if needed? Or the most I have ever been charged at another hotel for a "deposit " was $50 and we were in that hotel for a week! I complained-- abliet politely--that it was ridiculous and the front desk workers didn't even acknowledge me. Thankfully, they don't charge for parking or that would have been even more money gone. Room was mostly clean. Terrible AC and very humid. Had a nice balcony overlooking the pool though. Did my own disinfecting due to a covid surge in the area and the hand towel I used to do that was absolutely black after wiping down the restroom and hotel room fixtures, so i don't think they clean very well to begin with. Went to have breakfast in the morning and found out it was $16. Nope, that's steep for breakfast. Found a grocery store and bought cereal and some other foods for our stay instead. Room had a cold refrigerator and there was ice Machine on our floor, but no microwave for hot food. No housekeeping comes to your room during stay, so we had to empty our own trash and ask for, no, inconvenience the front desk staff, for 4 clean towels for showering. Overall, it's not a bad hotel. Clean enough I guess, but if you stay here be prepared to fork out a few hundred and pay for any and all extras that most hotels just provide. I could have paid this price that I did per night... possibly less... to stay at a much lower scale hotel. I've stayed in Super 8's that had more to offer!
