    This is a beautiful hotel. However, the front desk staff seems to be somewhat standoffish. They didn’t make you feel welcome. The room itself was elegant, roomy, comfortable, but we found several empty beer cans inside the dresser and night stand. We moved one of the chairs to make room to do something and discovered quite a bit of trash and bottle caps. The rest of the hotel seemed nice and clean except for the pool. The pool was extremely hazy, not crystal clear like you would expect at a hotel like this. But then neither was the room. Last but not least, the front entrance - They designated both sides of the front entrance as smoking areas so every time you entered or exited the hotel, you were drowning in cigarette smoke, which also followed into the atrium. This hotel has the potential to be fantastic. Management needs to put their employees through courtesy training. I’d give the building a 5 for its ambiance and roominess, but a 1 for its cleanliness and staff’s attitude.

    Beautiful facility with bad parking option.
    Upscale hotel but missed the mark on the basics. Beautiful facility and room. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful gym. We missed a microwave in the room and the single one located in the lobby was laughable, security wouldn’t allow pizza delivery to our room, the ice machine on the 4th floor was broken, and lastly the parking was ridiculous. Cramped parking that was so far from the entrance which cost an additional $10 a night. I should have taken away more stars. A person practically needed a shuttle to get to the entrance. Overall, I’d stay again but only if I had alternate transportation to and from the hotel.

    After a full day of travel we were excited to finally get to the Crowne Plaza at the St. Louis Airport. The Front Desk staff was pleasant. They were obviously new to the job but they got us checked in with a smile. The room was great and offered everything you could want, a microwave, coffee pot, ref., a great comfortable bed, and big clean bathroom. The hotel also offers a large indoor pool and parking. After a long day we were all anxious for a cocktail and a good meal. ALL restaurants were closed. We could order food from a limited menu at the bar but they were not serving liquor. There are no eateries within walking distance. Very disappointing. We understand the issue is staffing. Like many places they just cannot find staff. Sounds like HR needs to up their game.

Do not stay here. Very dirty. Carpets old and soiled. Hallways stayed dirty our entire stay over a few days. None was ever picked up or vacuumed. Food on floor in entryway over 2 days. Entry has a bar which is loud until late in evening, sounds amplified into rooms because of the atrium style hotel. Parking is extra. I was charged $100 3 days after checkout even though I didn’t charge anything to room or wasn’t told there would be any charges. I am still fighting charges. Hotel staff said they would help. Manager Travis still isn’t returning my emails.

I’ve stayed here a few times and never been disappointed with anything. Free safe parking. Self serve self pay snacks so you don’t have to wait in line. Great rooms. They have a shuttle to the airport if you need it. I like it, you will too. 5 stars.

Arrived after midnight following a medical transport to Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Very friendly and efficient night front desk team! My corner room on 5th deck was surprisingly quiet given proximity to highway and airport. Nice touch having all shades drawn so the sun wouldn’t awaken me 4 hours later! Outstanding breakfast buffet. Overall, very pleased with this Crowne Plaza visit! Will stay again in the future!

My family and I were taking a trip. We liked the fact that this hotel was close to the St. Louis airport and we could park our vehicle and use their provided shuttle to the airport. Well, the shuttle they provided never showed up to take us to the airport! We asked at the front desk and really got no help at all! We took an Uber after over an hour of struggling to get their shuttle! Then on our return home we called the hotel to pick us up since we parked our vehicle at the hotel, after over 45 minutes waiting on the shuttle and after talking to the front desk we got no where and finally called for a Uber. Needless to say don’t stay here if you are considering using their shuttle-it doesn’t work and their poor customer service only adds to a frustrating travel day!

Stayed here on an unplanned stopover at the airport. The lobby was grand and looked great. The first room we were checked out was still dirty as housekeeping had missed it. It was midnight, we were tired. Took a minute but the next room was at least cleanish. Very lack luster for the title of the hotel. Bathroom was held together with broken unsealed caulking. Faucets were all loose. Nothing too offensive, but I expected better.

I had an absolutely horrible time at this hotel. When I first checked in it took five minutes for a host to speak to me at the desk. When I finally got into my room, it was disgusting, pubic hair all over the toilet seat, hair ball in the tub, trash in the fridge etc. I asked to get a room change assuming it just hadn’t been cleaned yet, they were very accommodating and allowed it but the second room wasn’t much better. I’m fact, the pillows were missing pillow cases and there were mysterious brown liquid stains all over the wall and toenail clippings on the floor. It was late so I chose to stay and after waiting an hour was handed pillow cases. I ended up wiping down the whole room myself, so I chose to ride out my stay here. If you have allergies don’t stay here as the room had mold by the window and anytime the sink was used a strong mold smell filled the room. In general this is a very dirty hotel, for example when I arrived the room across the hall put dishes in the hall and they remained there the entire four night stay. I travel for a living and have definitely stayed in worse places, but definitely not for this price. Go somewhere else.

Telephone didn't work - talked to the front desk, who assured us that it would be fixed - 6 hrs. later, no one has addressed the issue. Air conditioning wouldn't shut off - freezing room despite 88 degrees outside - engineering arrived after being summoned (a second time), and their best solution was to turn off the air conditioner. Not an appropriate solution. General lack of concern on the part of the staff. Malaise has apparently plagued the majority of the staff. Will talk to the general manager tomorrow. But avoid this property.

Stayed here for the first time purchased the park n go package. Check in was delayed for a few minutes due to computer issues which was handled quickly. Room was spacious and clean. Shuttle was on time in the morning and we had a short wait to be picked up would definitely return for another visit
