when making reservation told them husband was in wheelchair and requested handicapped room. Walk-in shower had NO grip bars. Toilet hand NO grip bars and was so low to the floor almost fell on going down. In 5 days never saw housekeeping. Put trash bags and linen outside in hall. when I asked for clean linen and coffee refills, it was left on door handle outside of room. Also bar was never open and only meals was room serve at a added price.Dorothy

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, beds were comfy, coffee with real creamer was a plus! And then there is airport transportation and secure parking...our party of six, rented 3 different rooms, arrived at 3 different times and asked the same question about airport transport. "Do we need to let anyone know we will need transport to airport at 4am?" Answer was the same all 3 times, "No, our shuttle runs, 24 hours every 30 minutes." We all six met in the lobby at 3:50. 2 outside by 3:55 to start loading luggage. Mind you, six adults, 6 checked luggages, 6 carry ons. NO DRIVER in sight! His shift was over, he went home! Very kind front desk woman, informed us he isnt coming back. She ordered two Ubers, first guys shows up in a car. He informs us he has no room for luggage, just two people. He then decides he can't take us and leaves. Kind lady again, calls Taxi. Taxi shows up before second Uber does and loads all 6 of us and ALL our luggage (tight squeeze but he made it work) and off to the airport we go. Arrive back Saturday night. Call hotel when we landed in Houston regarding a pick up. "Call us when you land in STL." Called at 1015 telling them we landed. Bus arrived after 11. Professional driver. Secure parking? No. It's a parking lot that the gates stays open 24 hours. Crown Plaza, my suggestion to you...mandate your guest to confirm a transport and pick up time when checking in and relay that to your drivers with better communication.

Shame on this hotel for using the Crown Plaza name. The state of this hotel does not reflect any sort of pride. I stay at this hotel twice a year not by choice but because my company has contracted it to host us during our training events. Every year it becomes worse. It seems like the hotel is used by locals on the weekends for hotel parties. After these said parties the hallways are filled with trash and smells of heavy weed smoke. I have been put on the “quieter floor” with screaming children running up and down the hallways. Why are we booking rooms on the quiet floor for large families? Also the cleanliness in the rooms is lazy. During the time of a pandemic a company should go above and beyond to make their customers feel safe. I have uploaded photos from the second room I received as the first was much dirtier. The first room had lip stick smeared across the wall by the full length...really? That is cleaned? I will be forwarding these pictures of filthiness to my company. I can only hope we pull the contract.

This was our first visit to a Crowne Plaza and we were very pleased! The lobby and common areas are beautiful with pleasing sounds of the water falls. Check-in was quick but the receptionist could have used a little more personality. Room was clean and comfortable.

Read my reviews- you will see I’m miss positivity. However, this one misses the mark on so many levels I can’t believe they are still in business. No laundry bag, check out lady had the personality of a scrub brush. The halls, carpet, walls were filthy...so keep the Covid mask on. Shower was hot?😔. Oh no breakfast!
