I recently spent one night at the Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills on my way back from Texas. It was my first time in Branson (definitely a worthwhile destination!), so I can't compare this hotel to others in the area, but I can definitely say that I am a satisfied customer and wouldn't hesitate to return. The hotel is a little older, but for the most part, it's been really well-maintained. The common areas and the room itself were very clean. The beds were comfortable and they did a fantastic job with breakfast by mixing grab and go items with some hot options served by the breakfast attendant (which I'm finding is rare during the pandemic). I encountered 5 employees during my stay, and all of them were very friendly and helpful. The front desk clerk called a few minutes after check-in to make sure everything was acceptable in the room (which it was). The location is great. It's located close to everything on the strip, but it's set off the road enough that it's still very quiet and peaceful. Although there were a couple minor maintenance issues that I noticed in the bathroom (Room #210) upon closer inspection, they weren't serious enough for me to give this property anything but 5 stars since they didn't really affect my stay. For ownership, those issues were: 1) Dripping faucet and loose handle on the sink in the bathroom 2) Burned out light bulb above the sink in the bathroom 3) Loose metal plate on the floor of the bathroom

We have tried a lot of different places in Branson, and this is at the top of my list. The service was great, all aspects of the facility are very clean, the room and bed was comfortable and quiet, and breakfast was really good. The location is convenient and quiet.

Considering all the COVID stuff going on was still a great place to be with family. VERY considerate staff. Hot breakfast and pool was open. Easy in and out of parking lot. Only downside was roll away bed doesn't fit the greatest.

We stayed for only 2 nights. The room itself was pretty good, had enough room. And the Hotel was also pretty good. But a couple of issues we had was...first the bed was so uncomfortable. Either was completely worn out or very cheap quality. Every day I had to go to their hot tub to get my back to stop hurting. Then their breakfast is completely lame. You will need to eat out unless a microwave breakfast biscuit is your idea of a good time. The staff is nice. The pool and hot tub are real nice.

Dear Doug, Thank you so much for staying with us here at the Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills. We work really hard everyday to give our excellent service. I am sorry that the bed was not up to your standards and we will use this info to get that fixed. I also apologize regarding the breakfast we served you. Providing a menu based grab and go breakfast is not what we want either. Unfortunately because of Covid-19 we have had to change somethings here at the hotel to make sure our guest feel safe and to minimize the number of touch points in the hotel. It is our desire to have our full hot breakfast available to our guests sooner than later. Thank you for sharing your experience during your stay with us. I hope you stay with us again the next time you visit Branson. Tod Grisham - GM

COVID Review My family and I recently spent the weekend at Comfort Inn Thousand Hills and had a wonderful experience. This was our first stay at the location, and our first hotel stay during the COVID pandemic. Here is a brief review of our experiences. Social Distancing: Every employee we encountered was wearing a facemask. Additionally, the hotel had markers on the floor so guests could keep 6 feet apart when visiting the front desk or grabbing breakfast. Cleanliness: Each entrance to the hotel had a hand sanitizer station. Everything in the entire hotel was spotless, and our bathroom even had a band over the toilet stating it had been sanitized for our protection. In addition, if you have a need for towels or cleaning supplies, each room has a list you can leave on your door for housekeeping to provide. Supplies were provided in a plastic bag outside the room. Breakfast: Upon check-in, we were provided a check-off list for breakfast, including your desired pickup time. The front desk staff asked us to drop off the list in the evening so staff could prepare the orders in the morning. At breakfast, guests were provided a paper sack of food which could be consumed in the breakfast area or in the hotel room. Guests were allowed to dispense their own coffee and juice. The breakfast choices ranged from typical fare like yogurt and muffins to sausage egg biscuits and sausage danishes. Service: Several minutes after check-in, we received a phone call from the front desk to ask if there was anything we needed, which we appreciated. Our room also required a crib, which was delivered by staff shortly after check-in. My parents’ jacuzzi tub had issues, and staff made a repair call to address the issue. Bottom Line: We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. We appreciated the attention of staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and breakfast was great as well. We will visit again when we return to Branson.
