We have stayed here at least 10 times over the years. We fell in love with the look of the hotel and the view of the lake from the hotel. We also loved how the hotel grounds looked. A gorgeous hotel in a majestic setting. Almost fairytale like. Or used to be. Not so much now. On this visit, it was disappointing to see paint peeling off of the high roof panels when we drove up to the hotel. Unfortunately, we couldn't help but notice that. It was quite obvious. The room decor needs badly updated and some painting need to be done in the room. Carpet needs to be update everywhere. The cheaper breakfast buffet we had was cold and tasteless to say the least. On the good side of our stay, the sweet shop was great and as always the service we got was outstanding. There were some things not available at the hotel due to Covid and we understand that. But seems to us the hotel could have done more things for their guests and still keep their guests safe. Did the hotel use Covid for an excuse to limit some services? Maybe. We probably won't return again untill major improvements are made.

This was my first and most likely last stay at this hotel. No refrigerator, no microwave, and no no room service, but that was due to covid precautions. With less service, full price was still charged. The mattress had depressions which made sleeping comfort nearly impossible. On the upside, it is a beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view of the Lake.

Have stayed here once before, and was looking forward to this trip. Stayed Tues thru Thurs, room was good but restaurant and grille were never open. Finally opened for a couple of hours one evening. Room patio door was really hard to lock, bathroom sink was nearly clogged, and tub water faucet was stripped, so hard to adjust water temp. Really a come down from first stay. Of course everything is blamed on covid!!! For the cost and travel time to town, don't thonk I will be staying there again. The paint is peeling from the roof - looks like a huge flock of birds may be roosting up there.

Worst Spa ever! Employ unlicensed male massage therapist, he was the only one offered. No option of a female therapist. Manager challenged me when I asked for an actual licensed therapist. The spa is not worth the money!! Over priced, no amenities offered...

We were told this was an upscale hotel. It looks beautiful from the pictures but OMG the rooms are beyond sub par. Where are the updates? And no fridge or microwave is horrible! I have stayed at motels that at least have a fridge. With some improvements (decor, quality of bed linens, and updated amenities) this place could be a gold mine. But now it's definitely less than ideal. I understand that baseball tournament season is around the corner.... hopefully management makes the needed upgrades and repairs so that families can enjoy their experience on and off the fields.
