Stayed here on our final night of a 10-day "socially distancing" road trip from Ohio to the western United States. We had initially reserved at the Lodge of the Ozarks, but they called us shortly before we left for our trip to tell us they wouldn't be open as planned, but offered us a nice discount at this hotel since it was their sister property. The hotel is located a bit off the main strip, which made it much nicer in terms of traffic and noise. The entire place looked and smelled as clean as could be, and it was apparent they had employed numerous social distancing techniques for guest safety. Every staff person with whom we came into contact was sincerely friendly. My traveling partner had never been to Branson before, so we were able to look around the strip, in some of the shops downtown, and had a perfect homemade meal in a downtown restaurant. We did partake of the hot breakfast provided by the hotel the next morning and found the fare to be excellent (although cutting a sausage patty with the plastic utensils was challenging, haha.) That's not a complaint... during this covid time, plastic utensils are definitely understood. Not sure I'll be back to Branson any time in the near future, but if I know of anyone who may be headed this way I'd definitely recommend this hotel.…
I prefer cleanliness over amenities. On a recent visit we first booked at the Hilton Promenade. After a few hours, and many cringes later, we decided to check out and spend the rest of our trip at the Savannah House and I’m so glad we did! The employees are incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was newly updated and very clean. Breakfast is free and in the evening cookies, cobbler and ice cream are complimentary. The views from our room was so much prettier than the two balconies facing the convention center we had at Hilton. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It is farther away from entertainment, shopping, etc. than some hotels, but I’d rather drive and stay at a place I really enjoy. We will definitely book here again.
The hotel is okay. We’ve stayed in better and worse. It’s a little outdated. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast is average but the donut holes is a huge plus for picky kids, but be sure to get there early or they will be gone. Ice cream and dessert in the evening was a plus. Parking lot is on a big hill so be careful if have mobility issues.
Clean room...big, away from traffic on 76..nice breakfast,..great cobbler and ice cream after the shows end. Husband and wife were very pleasant to deal with..nice sitting porch out front..great for socializing
The six of us enjoyed our clean comfortable rooms. Staff was very friendly but busy - many visitors for Christmas and last week of Silver Dollar City for the 2019 season. Wished there was a hot tub and / or indoor pool. Hot Breakfast was very good - we especially enjoyed the complimentary cobblers, cookies, and ice cream at 9-11 pm !
