so first off when my family and I got there the guy behind the desk was outside on his phone, he came inside and continued to be on his phone knowing I was standing there with my husband. acted like he was being rushed or it killed him to be taken away from his phone call. seemed rather bothered that we showed up during this phone call. I don't smoke and neither does my husband or our friend we had with us, and he kept being rather brash about the no-smoking policy which I had already been fully aware of as I had stayed there a few years ago (MUCH nicer people then) wasn't much of breakfast, to be honest, would have been better off just saving my time going to a restaurant and getting a full breakfast instead of what they had to offer. the beds felt like cement slabs the sheets and blankets were incredibly stiff and the pillows were hardly pillows they were so worn out that even with two of them it didn't work. the only plus to it was the shower to be honest. the price i paid was NOT worth it. save your money and go somewhere better.…
The Rosebud Inn is a great choice for lodging. Rooms are family friendly. The hotel continues to take care of their "families" that have come to their home away from home. The access to the hotel is simple. The location allows easy exit to get anywhere in the Branson area. The hotel has mostly inside rooms, but they also have some outside rooms for people that prefer them. Breakfast is great. The owner/manager will become part of your extended family.
Great hotel, great location!! This is a no frills hotel. Yes it’s older, less amenities— but if you are like our family— you don’t spend much time in the room anyway! We travel a lot as a family and I tend to be a “hotel” snob. The breakfast was great— waffle makers, biscuits/gravy, eggs, cereals, mini muffins, toast, bagels, juices. Only suggestion would be more fruit, yogurt but it was great for what we needed. The room was very clean, bathroom was spacious, plenty of counter space. Beds were comfy and after full days of exploring Branson,MO our family crashed and slept great! The location in phenomenal! We literally were 2-3 min away from the strip! So so easy to get to and super quiet. Tucked back behind things. We had no trouble getting around town and getting to our hotel. Highly recommend! We would definitely return to this hotel!!!…
I reviewed several comments about the motel prior to booking and everyone said it was clean. Our room was clean, the breakfast room and food prep area was also clean!! The breakfast was very good, thank you! The pillow cases and sheets were like cardboard, very stiff like they had been starched. They were so stiff it made it difficult to sleep and when you moved you woke up your spouse. We had to wrap a blanket around the pillows to make them soft enough to sleep on. The room also smelled stuffy!
We left the Grand Plaza Hotel because of dirty and filth and arrived to see a room at the Rosebud Inn. The difference was day and night. This place was extremely clean and quiet, our room was bright and cheery and the parking was great no major hills to climb. The owner gave us a good rate and we stayed here for the remainder of our vacation. The place is very close not only to the strip but also to downtown Branson. The property is set in a very quiet location and is worth your consideration to stay at. Breakfast is also served at no additional charge
I was concerned about new ownership at Rosebud Inn, but decided to stay and give a try. Was not disappointed! New owners have improved one of my favorite places to stay. Beds and pillows, very comfortable. Rooms have been refreshed with a new paint job, and lighting with charging for electronics. Bathrooms have new toilets. Lovely new drapes brighten up rooms. Old friends tv, microwave, and frig remain. Room is spacious. Waffles and biscuits and gravy has been added to typical breakfast. Location is great.
Nice room, nothing fancy, reasonable price. Great check in experience, very helpful. Convenient location. Breakfast has waffles, bagels, biscuits and gravy, egg patties. We stayed on the side where you can park at the door, which is convenient. This is a family owned property.
The front desk guy let himself into our room without knocking!!!! I was laying on the bed dressed thank goodness!!!! The air doesn't seem to work as well at night. It was hot! Other than that the room for is just ok and there is a very small pool.
Rooms were very large… we have had to pay for a suite to get a room this large anywhere else. The pool was nice, bed was very comfortable, room was clean, and location was perfect! The recliner PLUS office chair in the room was perfect for the 2 of us to enjoy ourselves. No table per se, but plenty of places to put our stuff and still have so much room!
The hotel is nice and in a good location but they need to do something about the beds. I think they went the cheap route because ours were horrible. You could feel the springs. Rooms were fairly cleaned. We had to ask for more towels after service left and even had to vacuum our own room. We didn’t get enjoy breakfast, because either we were way to late 8:00am or they didn’t have everything out. Pool was open but not skimmed. If you have a room that faces the front you will want to close your blinds at night since their sign out front will light your room up like the sun. Would we stay here again, probably not.
