We stayed in a one bedroom villa and really liked the room, spacious for the 4 of us. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed, we were able to cook a meal easily. We even used the propane gas grill located right next to our building which was a huge plus. Loved our balcony, was able to sit and relax there. However, there were no linens for the pull out couch. We did open it and my girls decided not to use it as it looks uncomfortable. They thankfully brought their own blankets and slept on the couches. We were only given 4 towels, would have been nice to have more stocked. Need to stock more toilet paper as well in the room, shouldn't have to ask and when we did, the first two times they only gave us 2 rolls. The third time we insisted on 4 rolls. The room we had also conjoined with the one next to ours. We had our door locked, don't know about the neighbors, but could hear his full phone conversation. The larger indoor/outdoor pool area was closed which was very disappointing. We did go to the only pool available and it was small, cold, and needs to be updated. We had the pool to ourselves for a short while and then a group of kids came with their parents. That is fine, but the pool is so small, there wasn't enough room in the pool. Kids like to have fun and swim all over, we couldn't find space for just ourselves to enjoy. We would stay there again but would hope the bigger pool area was open and they would stock the rooms a bit better. It's a short drive to the strip but far enough away to get some peace and quiet from the crowds and traffic. Out of everything we did, I wouldn't recommend the Aquarium on Boardwalk. While they had some fun and interesting exhibits, it was small and not worth the cost of admission. Highly recommend Titanic Museum, Fantastic Caverns, Pink Jeep Tours, the Tower Zipline in Shepherd in the Hills, Whodunnit Murder Mystery, all the mountain coasters, the Butterfly Palace, and the Heavy Metal go cart track. We also did the Ferris Wheel and Ducks which we enjoyed.

We've been coming here for several years now (started when it was under Welk).
We either stay in the large one-bedroom; or as we did this year, the smaller studio/one-bedroom. We stay 2 to 4 weeks (this year it was 3 weeks).
Though it is a different vibe, than when it was under Welk; we have continued to enjoy the experience.
Our room was clean and well-maintained; and we enjoy the view from our balcony (we've stayed in Honeysuckle for the last several years).
The staff are usually very friendly, welcoming and accommodating; and have always been quite responsive to any concerns and/or requests we've had.
One note: this is the last time we will partake in the "orientation/update"; regardless of the inducement. It always takes longer than promised; and it is never just "informational". No matter how convivial it begins; once we make clear we are not buying any "upgrade", at any price, the salesperson turns cold/annoyed/remote. We understand it's their job; but we're too old to continue subjecting ourselves to such an annoyance.
That aside; we look forward to our next visit.

We just enjoyed our second 5 day stay in a one bedroom villa. Everything anyone could possibly want is furnished including a washer and dryer. It was clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The beds were comfy, the towels fluffy and there is plenty of seating and room to spread out. We have been loyal platinum members of another hotel chain, however they were fully booked during our last visit to Branson. As a result we discovered the Lodges at Timber Ridge and it is now our first choice in Branson. The Splashatorium and pool were busy but enjoyable. We didn’t visit the on site restaurant for breakfast because we usually just have coffee in the morning. Housekeeping does not clean daily but they will change out towels or provide additional toiletries if requested. I love that. I hate having to worry about leaving things out because someone will be in our room. The only suggestion I would make is to provide more than one cart for each building. One is definitely not sufficient.

The "lodges," similar to college apartments, are conveniently located between a mini storage and what looks like a defunct Bible church. If you want to pay for an upgrade, they give you a number to call and will not help you themselves. If you're hungry, bring food. If you leave anything in your room, even for a second after you check out, prepare to submit an online claim and wait. Zero hospitality. Would not recommend. 0/10.

I want to begin by saying the room was mostly as advertised. It was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable but the pillows are terrible. The amenities were not as advertised. Before booking I called to make sure the indoor water park would be open during our stay. It wasn’t. They decided to remodel it a month before our stay. We weren’t notified until 12/23 and checkin was 12/26. We had not seen the email because it was sent to spam but at that point it wouldn’t have mattered, it was too late to book anything else. The front desk staff was rude and did not care at all to explain. They finally offered to waive the $100 resort fee after making a big deal about calling the manager to do it. They offered a free trip to their escape room which has horrible reviews so we didn’t bother. When we arrived to the room, there was no linens for the sofa bed and the front desk staff didn’t seem to believe me when I told them and questioned it repeatedly before agreeing to bring some. I specifically told them I needed enough pillows for 2 kids and they sent one pillow which meant we had to call again and ask for more. Most of the outlets don’t work in the room and neither did the dryer. The on-site restaurant was closed so the in room food service and breakfast buffet was not available. Once again the front desk staff offered no explanation or apology for that. During our stay someone knocked on the door early in the morning even though we had the do not disturb sign up to tell us that they were supposed to be cleaning the room and that we were supposed to be out. I explained we had 3 days more to our stay. About 30 minutes later the front desk called the room questioning who we were in the room but then said the computer lost our information.

Overall, the room was good but if you are looking for a caring staff and the amenities you paid for I wouldn’t recommend it. They seemed disorganized and I certainly wouldn’t qualify it as a “resort” stay.

Do not under any circumstance stay at this property if there is any chance you will need to rebook or cancel, even if warranted such as a huge weather event (10 plus inches of snow.) They will not work with you to offer any alternatives to rebook (even with a fee). They are not interested in keeping a customer, they will take your money.

I was recently in Branson with my family and planned to stay here on a Friday and Saturday night. At 11:30 am Friday, I received a call stating my reservation with the Lodges was cancelled due to a maintenance issue and lack of housekeeping staff. They did not have any other rooms available and didn't even offer an apology. I was left to find another hotel during a busy travel weekend on the day of. I had booked this reservation 6 months in advance but was given about 4 hours notice of cancellation. So disappointing!!

We just returned from a great stay at the Lodges at Timber Ridge. We booked three rooms for our family and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable the rooms were. The 3 bedroom villa was amazing! BOOK IT!!!!!!

All the staff members we encountered during our stay were so friendly and helpful! We initially had an issue with one of the reservations that we had booked through a third party site, but Garrett & Megan at the front desk worked hard to help us get it resolved and saved our vacation! A HUGE thank you to them for the assistance! Richard at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. SO many great employees at this location!

The resort also offers several fun activities for the kiddos such as movie nights and crafts but we were so busy exploring Branson that we didn't have time to check those things out.

We made use of the waterpark and the Escape Room during our stay. Everyone had a blast! The property is in a safe, quiet location, yet it is convenient to all of the great attractions Branson has to offer. We went to the Titanic Museum as well as the Lost Canyon Cave Tour. We enjoyed both of those very much and highly recommend them! We also made sure to grab some donuts from Hurts Donuts before we went home. Yum.

We will definitely add this property to our "favorites" list and hope to stay again. Thank you to all of the staff at HVC Timber Ridge for a wonderful stay!

Hyatt takes great effort in customer satisfaction. They purchased the Welk timeshares and is in the process of bringing them up the premium level of the Hyatt brand. The Branson property is in massive upgrade transition to the resort level akin to their premium properties. I am proud to be an owner here and look forward to the enhanced renovations. I find great value in my new Hyatt status. All staff members were helpful friendly and professional.

Stayed at The Lodges at Timber Ridge on a Branson Missouri visit. This resort was a part of Welk before being acquired by Hyatt last year.

We are Welk owners (now called Hyatt Vacation Club) so it made sense to use our points for the stay.

We have stayed there in the past so to say we were disappointed in our accommodations this time is an understatement.

We arrived at our villa to find that there would no longer be mid week service for fresh towels, cleaning, coffee, tea, dishwasher or laundry replenishment. You now needed to call the front desk if you wanted items replenished. We immediately called since the only product from the above list that was available to us were towels. We also were told they no longer provide salt and pepper as had been done in the past.

The lack of items we expected as part of our stay was only the beginning of more disappointments to follow as our stay unfolded.

The refrigerator had rust throughout with most of the metal dividers and racks involved. An outlet near the kitchen sink was hanging out of the wall. Nothing dangerous there. We called for immediate repair.

We had already purchased show tickets prior to arrival. One of the shows was canceled so I went to the Consigeree desk to book a replacement show. There was no one there so I inquired at the front desk for some help. They told me the Consigeree desk was closed on Monday and Tuesday but, I could phone, leave a message and they would return my call. I did so on Tuesday. I received a call back on Sunday, which happened to be 2 days after checking out and returning home.

I suggest you look for other accommodations when visiting Branson. If you are a Hyatt Vacation Club member; exchange your points on RCI or Interval to book a resort that does things right on service and maintenance. The Lodges at Timber Ridge no longer do so.
