Lodge of the Ozarks garners high marks for its warm ambiance and family-friendly atmosphere, with rustic decor and Christian music enhancing the experience. Guests consistently commend the hotel for its exceptional service, noting the staff's friendliness and the spotless accommodations. The location is another high point, offering easy access to local attractions and walkability.
While the rooms are celebrated for their comfort and modernity, some reviewers suggest adding more charging ports and kitchen amenities. Despite this, the hotel's value, cleanliness, and comprehensive breakfast buffet are frequently praised, contributing to its reputation as a great choice for travelers.

Detailed Reviews
We booked the Lodge of the Ozarks based upon very favorable reviews and this review will add to the many previously reported. The value is amazing, the Lodge is a 5 star destination. Apparently it has always been highly rated but we learned it has recently been renovated as well. We parked adjacent to the entrance, the foyer is beautiful and definitely decorated as an upscale lodge with a roaring fireplace and sitting area to enjoy the ambiance from. The hotel features elevator access to all upper floors and the guest rooms are similarly furnished in lodge furniture featuring heavy log-like design.
The rooms and overall hotel were spotless, Covid protections were enforced with hand sanitizers located at all elevators, entrances and floors. Mandatory mask use was in force.
The included hot breakfast buffet is wonderful with hot scrambled eggs, bacon/ham/sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, hot cakes and choice of beverages. Disposable gloves are provided for all food selections and masks are required until seated, so we felt completely safe and protected. Seating is plentiful in the large dining area and socially distanced tables ensure further protection.
We would recommend and stay at the lodge if we return to the area. As noted it is directly on the theatre strip and close by Branson Landing. Overall an ideal location and a wonderful lodge to experience.
The bed was super comfortable as were a selection of pillows adding to the overall experience of the lodge. Kudos to Taylor who greeted us upon arrival, she was personable, attentive and very helpful adding to the overall wonderful experience.

We were desperate for a trip somewhere. We decided upon Branson, since the shows were opening up again. Having stayed in Branson before, we knew the area and decided to stay at a different hotel. Lodge of the Ozarks sounded perfect! It is in a very convenient location on the Strip, walkable to some shows and restaurants. We liked walking down to Pizza World. This hotel is beautifully decorated and has the friendliest staff. Our room (double queen) was on the third floor, convenient to the elevator and then right out the side door to the free parking lot. The comfortable room was large and the hallway was quiet. The beds were so comfortable! And the other important thing is a good, hot shower! The hotel gave us a list of covid guidelines when we checked in, which we appreciated. At the amazing breakfast buffet, everyone wore masks and gloves (which were taken off when seated). All in all, we would definitely stay here again. Our total bill was $358.52 for 4 nights, which we thought was reasonable for the quality and location. My daughter is planning a trip in the summer for her family and I recommended this hotel. That's when I realized that I had not written a review yet. And it certainly does deserve an excellent review.

This is our second stay at the lodge & we greatly enjoyed it. We stayed 4 nights for our wedding anniversary & enjoyed every moment.
The room was clean & quiet.
We stayed during the weekdays & the hotel was less crowded just like we like it.
Check in was quick, we had a king room w/jetted tub & again everything was great.
If I have any complaints they really aren’t worth sharing. Lol
One tip would be that the queen rooms don’t have microwaves so if that’s what you need don’t book that kind of room.
Also if you want your room clean you have to request it between 8am to 10am. The days of daily cleaning are over due to covid which is understandable. They still serve a full breakfast & require that you wear gloves before touching the serving utensils which I really liked. The lodge is trying its best to administer to the covid restrictions. The food on the bar could be hotter but that’s no big deal, all of the staff seem really nice.
The tub seemed to make noise when you stand in certain spots but again no big deal. You have to really hold the lever for the toilet to completely flush but again no big deal.
The room was spacious, amenities were nice, bed was comfortable.
The lodge of the ozarks is doing it right!!
You won’t regret booking with them.

Spend 3 nights with my children. I asked for a babybed prior to my arrival. Unfortunately it wasn't in the room when we arrived so we had to go back to the front desk. At a price of over $120 a night I would expect that service to be included. Breakfast is served in buffetform which surprised me in Covid times. The hotel requires guests to sanatize their hands and wear gloves when grabbing food. Only adults are allowed to use the buffet. Masks are not required, so a lot of guests were not wearing masks. That did make us feel uncomfortable while at breakfast. It would be great if the hotel required guests to wear a mask at all times, while inside in public areas. The breakfast itself is ok, nothing special, but there is something on the buffet for everyone. The hotel is located right on the strip and in walking distance to a lot of attractions. Also the pool is great for families with children. Overall a nice hotel in a very good location! I wish service and safety would be a little better at ~$400 for 3 nights.

We apologize for a "pack 'n' play" not being in your room upon arrival, Mika166. When a special request is made, it is our policy to make a notation on the guest's booking, and we try our best to accommodate these requests. While facial coverings/masks have not yet been mandated in our county, we have relayed to guests (as best we can, prior to arrival) that our county implores both residents and visitors alike to wear facial coverings when in public. We do require masks of our employees, put the decision for guests is a personal one at this time. We are glad you enjoyed the location of the hotel.

We have been coming to Branson for 50 years and have stayed in dozens of hotels and resorts. We have repeated a few stays but normally try another in search of an excellent stay. Our 3 night stay was super with the only complaint was due to our room location over looking the indoor pool. Great room except lots of screaming kids in the pool which is amplified up to the rooms overlooking the pool. The Lodges can't keep kids from screaming but we should have been warned about the noise and given a choice to have a room not overlooking the pool. For some guests it may not be an issue, because the pool closes at 10pm, but if you like to take a rest/nap mid afternoon, of just want some peace and quiet in the evening to rest and relax before bed, you would not want the pool side room. But, that was the only issue for us and we will stay again, but in a different room for sure.
Now for all that was good. Check-in was easy and quick. Lodge was in good condition, clean and attractive. More like 4/5 star hotels that cost 4x more. Luggage carts were available, parking was good and location was easy to access. Very much liked the full hot breakfast while most chain hotels are still handing out granola bars. Other than pool noise, room was quiet. Bed was comfy, a bit bouncy, but OK. Room was clean, had large doorless shower, exhaust vent to remove steam and a great HVAC system with an actual working thermostat and a constant on fan setting for better sleep. We could not hear the system cycle on and off at all. there was also a bar sink, fridge and microwave in the room along with large screen TV, desk and dresser (King Room) Nice! Hallways are wide, well lit and have carpet for addl quiet. Price was fair and a good value. Would recommend and we have already booked 2 more stays for Oct and Nov to bring some grandkids down to SD City fun.

This was my second stay at the Lodge with the family. I called ahead to get a microwave placed in my room, it wasn't there when I checked in but mistakes happen and they quickly brought me one. We booked a room overlooking the pool, in case we wanted to go we were able to see how many people were present. At no time did we notice too many people at the pool, social distance is hard while in the pool.
The breakfast menu I was hoping would change a little but I cannot complain since it was hot breakfast. The only thing that made me worry in this time during covid was the staff was not to enthusiastic cleaning the tables after someone left. Gloves to handle the food and hand sanitizer were provider before entering.
The staff was overall really friendly. The price for the room was definitely worth. We usually book with other hotel chains when traveling but the Lodge is very competitive in Branson.
Parking is great, there is some construction on the strip right now making traffic flow slower than usual, if you can take an alternate route to your destination I would suggest to do so until construction is done.
A lot of attractions are within walking distance.

Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed their breakfast, monkey bread was my sons favorite. They provided hand sanitizer and gloves at breakfast for adults to use at buffet. You were free to wear a mask it you wished. Excited to see the added laundry mat. Our kids enjoyed the pool and fact that one side opened up to outside so it was not real humid which was nice. Hope to visit again this year!

We highly recommend Lodge of the Ozarks. It’s possibly our favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The room was spacious & very clean. It had the biggest pool we’ve ever seen in a hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing. They had the biggest selection of food ever. We were nervous about a breakfast buffet during a pandemic & Lodge of the Ozarks exceeded our safety hopes. They required patrons to wear gloves, they had tables roped off for social distancing, they had an employee cleaning tables as soon as people left. Plus a huge & great selection of food. All in all we would wholeheartedly recommend Lodge of the Ozarks & will definitely be coming back. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

We stayed the Lodge of the Ozarks for one night the first week of November 2020. Despite their being a sign on the front door of the hotel that face masks are required the two ladies behind the front desk had NO face coverings. The vast majority of the people in the hotel chose not to wear face masks as well. I saw management in the second floor office and nobody there was wearing face masks either. We were having trouble with the coffee maker in our room and called the front desk and the lady we talked to said she would come to our room to help us and she never showed up. After our visit I sent an email to the hotel with my concerns and NEVER got a response. The rooms are fine and clean, but no microwave or refrigerator and have not been updated in quite some time. The front desk employees were rude and not friendly at all. I called after my stay to get the total I was charged and the lady at the front desk spent 15 minutes on the phone with me to tell me that she couldn't even find that I stayed there! Guess what, 2 days later the charge showed up on my credit card, so yes, we did indeed stay there. I would avoid this place and go somewhere that follows the rules and cares if you are unhappy with your stay.

Lodge of the Ozarks is sorry to hear you were displeased with your overnight stay, Jill. Our front desk has Plexiglas in place to provide a barrier between staff and guests, and our staff is instructed to wear face coverings whenever interacting with guests. While it is the hotel’s responsibility to make guests aware of the Branson face mask ordinance, we are not in the position to force compliance. However, we have witnessed the majority of guests taking personal responsibility by courteously complying with the mask ordinance for the safety and well-being of both guests and staff alike. The three individual management offices on the second floor are separated and locked to public access. It is not a requirement to wear face coverings when amply separated from public and in a private working area. We were not made aware of the coffee pot not working in room 432 and, upon following up on your review, the coffee pot is working fine. We would certainly have replied to an email from a guest, but we do not have record of receiving one and, for that, we apologize. All rooms do come with a refrigerator (they are located inside the big dresser in the room) and, while not all rooms come with microwaves, one may be requested (subject to availability). We are sorry you felt your dealings with our front desk employees were rude and unfriendly. This concern will be addressed as our front desk employees are repeatedly lauded for their friendliness and helpfulness. We also apologize that the front desk could not find record of your stay with us which could have, unfortunately, been due to a misspelling. Again, we apologize for your displeasure. Lodge of the Ozarks has an outstanding reputation of caring and serving our guests, and it appears with your experience, Jill, we fell short.

Last year we decided to try a new hotel and WOW have we been impressed! Friendly and helpful staff, very clean, and very well equipped for the new COVID virus with sanitizer stations at front door, elevators, and breakfast.they provided gloves for patrons to wear when obtaining breakfast and requested adults serve kids under 16. Staff was extremely helpful when my kids managed to get that metal safety latch locked while we were leaving the room for a show. Front desk individual went to fix it immediatey even though I explained we were headed out for a show. Rooms were exceptionally comfortable and clean. View from our 3rd floor window was great (especially on 4th of July as we could se many different firework displays from all over). They put in a laundry within the past year which is great when you travel with 4 kids including a baby. Swimming pool was a savior as beach was closed (and they can open the walls to outdoors relieving some of the pool chlorine smell). Hotel is beautiful and located on Hwy 76 within walking distance of many activities and shows.

Lodge of the Ozarks is a non-smoking hotel. However, Branson smoking ordinance permits smoking outside as long as you remain more than 6' away from public entrances.
Interstate 44W to Springfield, then US Highway 65S to Branson. Exit 76 Country Blvd keeping in left lane and turn left onto 76. Proceed for several miles passing Titanic and then the Branson Ferris Wheel (both on your right). Lodge of the Ozarks is just past the Ferris Wheel and Andy's Custard, right hand side.
Guests must be 21 to check-in.
No, there is no resort fee, just the hotel tax that you would pay at any hotel.
