If you go expecting $55/nt room quality, you will enjoy. I expected this and was happy. The place is old and absolutely no frills. However, clean as any I have ever stayed in. I moved the fridge out of the closet and the floor under it was clean. The High-end hotels could not claim this.

I heard the pipes or something all night. The beds were okay. Room was clean but the paint on the doors were scratched off, most likely from dogs that have stayed there...

We was lucky when driving on Hwy 61 from St. Louis back home to West Central Illinois. We got caught in an Ice Storm and the highway at Bowling Green had gotten shut down due to a Semi Tanker Truck jack-knifing and flipping over. We went to the what we thought was the only hotel in town, the Super 8....
