I organzied a "work float trip" for my(20) coworkers and family members... to "get away" from hosptial work stress. We had a great time. Employees were very friendly and organized. Checked us in with no issues, even let us upgrade to a larger raft that we needed, with no problem, just pd add'l difference. We did the 5mi float on Sunday, took about 3hrs (we took our time in the beautiful weather and scenery) Very relaxing and enjoyable.

This place has a great website that shows a really nice campground, BUT the sites are sketchy when it comes to leveling, trash must be driven to dumpsters and for the price there is no customer service. The staff at registration is rude. When we arrived her rudeness was gruff and bossy (not welcoming) until she found out it was our first time visiting their facilty then her demeanor changed a bit....she smiled and said welcome. It was so fake and phony. The pool isn't much of one. Be aware there is no wifi.

Pleasantly surprised. Our guide was friendly & helpful. Trail ride was great. Ride up a wooded hillside beaten trail. Even got to see some baby deer. Good for all skill levels. Would definitely recommend.

Have been taking a large group to Blue Springs for over 20 years, and always a great experience. Over the weekend we had the Rock Castle and Cabins 18 and 19. As always, the staff (especially Gina) was very welcoming and are always excited to welcome their regulars back. The cabins are always very clean. I love the new fridge at the Rock Castle. Through the years, the cabin has gotten more and more stocked with folks forgetting items .. I have been guilty of that. The beds are small and not the most comfortable, but folks need to remember this is upgraded camping, not a luxury hotel. It's always nice to see JR down at the pavilion when checking in for our float. The river was a little higher than normal so moving a little quicker. We had a great time at the Upper Beach on Friday and a great time floating on Saturday. The resort is very family friendly and the quiet hours are enforced. The river can get a little crazy on the weekends in the summer, but it is a lot of fun. If you have young children, I would suggest floating during the week. The resort doesn't have any control with what happens on the river as that is a public waterway. I appreciate having such a nice place to go every year and also appreciate all that they have to put up with from customers all summer long.

We recently had a camping trip here and we're going to float on the river. We spend over $600.00 dollars. When we arrived for our food trip we were told that we couldn't go on the river because of the rain and that we would have to go to the office to get a refund. When we arrived at the office we found the staff to be rude. She told us they don't give refunds and we would need to talk with the owner. When RJ (owner) arrived he was hostile. He explain that he would not give us a refund for the rafts that we did not use $408.00! His exact words were " I have been running this business like this for 30 years and if you don't like it there's the gate". Well all I can say is it's not right to gouge $400 out of somebody RJ! You should give somebody there money back if they didn't receives the product or service!
