This is my second trip to the Badger Inn. I stayed here last year and was welcomed warmly by staff late last evening that remembered me and the reason for my visit. My room has been delightfully redecorated. I will be back in May !

Visited recently on a Saturday evening, food was delicious and the service was really good. The "non" shepherds pie was excellent! Highly recommended! Everybody enjoyed their meals, starters, mains and desserts! Cocktails aren't available but staff went the extra mile and made us a drink we requested.

We had a really delicious Sunday lunch today. There were 15 of us in total, but we were served very smoothly by lovely friendly staff. Our food was piping hot and every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. I had the roast beef and I have to say, it is one of the best roast lunches I have...

Enjoyed a warm welcome and main course meal with my daughter. Have a fabulous selection on the menu and we enjoyed a delicious meal. I had pulled hock salad which was gorgeous. Shared a bowl of onion rings that were good too.

I visited this pub with my husband last Saturday for lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy and had a nice buzz about it. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We saw the large portions being served to other tables and decided to just have a main course. We both chose to try the cod and chips with peas and tartar...

Two course meal starters and mains. Restaurant was busy with nice atmosphere. Starters arrived promptly and were good. Mains took a while to arrive, but again were of good quality and portions are generous. Unfortunately had run out of time so did not look at dessert menu.

This inn is a very old fashioned inn, with the most amazingly soft bed, in the room. This is a most welcome feature after driving for six hours. The staff are all happy and smiling people, which creates a nice ambiance. Their Merlot was really nice. I ordered the 'Posh Fish Pie', and I have to say it was the...

“Room called : The Spinner - reasonable quality but could be improved by adding a razor point, a shelf in the bathroom for personal items and lastly we found the drawers rather small for laying out folded clothes. Good shower.”
