This was our second stay here travel agent booked a park and fly check in was easy mask are required room was clean.Next morning shuttle to airport was on time driver was nice and helpful. We booked a another night for return.when we landedwe was advised by airport that normal pickup area was closed for construction we was outside by a sign for hotel and motel shuttle pickup. I called for a pick up 15 min no show i called in again the front desk they told me i was in the wrong spot i advised them the normal location is closed at this point i am tired and getting angry 15 min later no shuttle for which is located across from the airport i called again finally he showed up said front desk was unaware that it was closed overall it took over 30 min to be picked up i think it was not much communication going on but i will come back and try it again

What a friendly staff. I forgot my phone charger and was in a pinch, so I asked the front desk if they could help. Cheryl at the front desk was great, but there wasn't a solution. Then, another worker, Jameesha, came to the rescue. She let me borrow her own charger - what a great gesture. During a time when everyone is afraid to touch a door knob, Jameesha really stepped up to help a guest out and it was very appreciated. Thank you so much.

I stayed here last week and even though I am a lifetime gold Marriott elite traveler, I usually don't expect much for perks. This hotel went out of its way with benefits and room choice. I was very happy and would stay here again!

As I write this review it is 4:00 a.m. and I am sitting in the St Louis airport because the room I was in (room 8005) smelled so bad it woke me up. Two things to know. I have a 6:00 a.m. flight so I was planning to get to the airport early anyway although not this early. Second, I paid for the room with Marriott Bonvoy points, not that it should affect the quality of the room. The worst part of my stay at the St Louis Airport Marriott was the hotel was not clean. In this time of Covid I am sensitive to cleanliness. There were little things that I noticed like supplies cluttering the lobby around the shoeshine area and toothpicks on the floor of the elevator. When I checked into my room I noticed a strong odor, a cross between stale smoke and an animal smell. I was tired and I figured the smell would dissipate when I turned on the air conditioning. It did not. The smell literally woke me up at 3:00 a.m. because it was so disgusting. I showered and left the room as soon as possible. That is why I am sitting in the St Louis airport at 4:00 a.m. Other than the smell and the general lack of cleanliness, the bathroom was tiny and generally unclean. Advice to management, if you are going to allow guests with animals to stay, please clean the room thoroughly.

The hotel did not have an inspiring exterior but inside was delightful. Open lobby with a limited but appreciated menu, coffee bar in the morning that was diverse and well appointed. Front desk was efficient.
