    Average Stay
We chose this hotel as an inexpensive place to stay, as a resting place on our way to Branson, Missouri. We reserved a room, stating a capacity of 5 people (3 adults, 2 children). The room size was clean, but small as well as the size of the beds. Even though we reserved for 5 people, we only had enough towels for two people in which we needed to go to the front desk to retrieve more (always many people waiting in line to check into the hotel and no "side line" for existing guest needs). The hotel did not offer complimentary WiFi, which I thought was rare these days. Also, no complimentary breakfast of any kind, though they did have a menu for breakfast and dinner. This would have been nice, but the prices were extremely high and it was more economical to utilize Grub Hub to get food or do self-pick up. This location was adequate to meet our needs, though I don't believe I would choose to stay here again.

    Not up to Marriott standards
I had always considered Marriott to be a better than average brand, with hotels that were more comfortable, more luxurious and cleaner than a budget three-star property. The comfort in the room and the cleanliness of the facilities at this hotel makes me believe this particular Marriott is no better than a grossly overpriced Holiday Inn. The mattress in the room was essentially flat, with very little cushioning aside from a thin layer of foam under the bottom sheet. I could actually feel the structural supports of the bed through the mattress. The sheets on the bed felt like they were no more than plastic sheeting. The bathroom is so small that one adult person cannot stand in front of the toilet and be able to close the bathroom door. It is clear that no one had bothered to dust the rooms or wipe down any of the surfaces and tables found outside the room either, as there were smudges and stains on almost every flat surface in the hallways. One of the elevators had a large stain on the floor and the air conditioning vents all over the hotel, in the room, hallway and elevator had built up dust on them. The hot tub at the hotel had a large amount of dirt in it, as did the pool. This hotel certainly does not meet the Marriott standard of cleanliness and luxurious accommodations, anywhere except the lobby. The appearance of the lobby of this hotel and the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk are terrific, which is why I give this place three stars. Just about everything else at this hotel might meet the standard of a Holiday Inn or Best Western from 10 or more years ago.

    Great hotel!
My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. Even though CIVID precautions were required, the desk manager addressed all of our needs and requests. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and had xx a table all to ourselves far away from other guests. Although our waiter was overworked due to staff reductions and with a minimal menu selection, we were extremely pleased with our meal. We chose the grilled salmon, it it was prepared to perfection - medium rare as ordered! It was mouth-watering! Our waiter, as I mentioned was overworked, but the hotel desk manager intervened and saw to it that we were served expeditiously. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our meal. Our waiter Wes very gracious in serving us and apologized for our initial delay in being served. Our room in the hotel proved to be exceptionally quiet and quite comfortable, especially considering it was so close to the airport. The shuttle service to the airport was prompt and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who needs to be near the airport.

NOLAN at the restaurant made my day. Experienced server, knew exactly and recognized my needs about food and time. Waiters like this, make any meal pleasant and hospitable, recognizing needs and adding that extra spice of great hospitality.

Nice property across the highway from Lambert airport. Room was comfortable. I was very unhappy that the bathroom lacks privacy -- there is only a (frosted) glass door separating it from the sleeping area. Besides the lack of privacy, the glass door allows light to bleed in and wake up one's partner while using the bathroom during the night. I have no idea what Marriott might have been thinking with this weird and impractical design. Also, the lay out within the bathroom is strange and needlessly crowded. Breakfast was provided both in a concierge lounge (for Elite members) and restaurant, but no provision for gluten free or lactose intolerant guests.

Stayed at the Marriott on August 1, 2023 for a Park, sleep, & fly stay. We were placed in the back of the hotel and our room was damp and musty smelling. I generally love to stay at the Marriott but was not very happy with the room at all. The bed was comfortable and the shuttle was there in the morning and seamless. Parking was easy as well. I just expect more from a room at the Marriott.

Wow--I was impressed! I had been here years ago for an event, and for a weekend with a friend and her family as a teenager many moons ago. This was the first time staying at this hotel as a non-St Louis resident. Our flight was cancelled and luckily Delta put everyone up at local hotels. We chose this one, and glad we did! Clean (very clean--they were actually shampooing carpets when we left, and everything was spotless in the room). Fitness center was nice, pool area as well (they have a neat indoor/outdoor pool that I remembered as a teenager). Expanded outdoor activity area too! The lobby bar/restaurant is really nice, good food and drinks/wine list. There's a Starbucks and 'market' in the lobby too. Room was clean and tidy, great toiletries as well. Even the hair dryer was clean! (sometimes I find in hotels that the hair dryers are kind of sticky--presumably from hairspray etc?). Only issue was the handle on the in-room fridge cabinet was broken (needed a screw on the bottom part of the handle). Service was great too. It's awesome they have an airport shuttle, and the drivers are very friendly. So even though we didn't plan to stay here (and were annoyed at our cancelled flight and a wasted day), this was a pleasant ending to that long day wasted at the airport! Only issue of course is the area--not really walkable as it's right near the airport. If you're staying here on a vacation to St Louis, be sure to have a rental car if you want to head out anywhere near the hotel, or take an uber.

Stayed two nights in May 2023 on business. The hotel shuttle was great - the drivers were top notch. The food and bar service in the hotel lobby was decent. The food was ok and staff very helpful. The hotel room I had was ok, but needed a refurbishment. It was just a little tired and unloved. Overall, a an average stay - not somewhere I would rush back to.

The hotel van from airport is Too small and Completely Packed! So when you get to the hotel which is close to the Airport, again its mass confusion getting off this van! Checking in the hotel with about 40 other people is amazingly calm as the front desk staff is organized but can still only handle so many guests. Rooms are decent but could use some renovation especially in the bathrooms. Overall this is an ok Marriott but I believe everything comes down to Management, Training, &giving employees the tools they need to do the job

We arrived at 9 pm with a reservation made weeks ago for a King room. As a Titanium member and a lifetime platinum member, I usually receive excellent service. Upon arriving at the hotel, I found that they only had queen rooms. To quote the person at the desk told us, “We never honor those reservations. If you reserved a King, you have to be here by at least 3 o’clock to get what you reserved. It is easier to do first come, first served.” And that’s a quote. Also, please check out the mold in the shower and the flickering light.

We parked our vehicle in the “secure” parking lot at Marriott St. Louis Airport, St. Louis MO, that we were assured was secured with a gate and surveillance cameras. We had to scan a ticket with a code to place our car in the lot, giving us false security. While on our vacation out of country we get contacted that our car was found abandoned by Flossiant MO PD. Our car was stolen from the lot. When police tried to review the footage of the parking lot they were told by the staff that the cameras are disabled. Upon our return via shuttle from the airport, we luckily had a ride home with others in our group, the gate to the lot was up and unattended. The area where our car was broke into was free of debris from the damage to our car. Someone had cleaned up the area. The hotel never once contacted or reported the theft of our vehicle. The initial repair estimate of the damage to our vehicle is 5,500 dollars, plus the day both of us missed work to retrieve our car and now we are without our vehicle for a month while it is repaired. The thieves also have our garage door opener and address so we had to replace it, that cost us $300. We also now have to worry about criminals showing up to our house endangering our family and children. We would have never left our car in a lot that was not secure, with no operating cameras and a gate that is left up, unattended. We feel like the Marriott is partly responsible for the theft of our car. While one cannot predict others actions, it is convenient that the gate was left up and the cameras were disabled. Advertising a lot as “secure” when it does not have working surveillance cameras, a gate that is open and not attended is false advertisement. To our disbelief, there is a charge for parking on our bank account. This is not acceptable.

We got put in this hotel with a sporting group room block. Despite being a Marriott, I was not impressed. The guest room (2 beds) was so small. No microwave, dusty shelves and weird parking lot. Construction workers started drilling at 8AM. The only silver lining was the concierge lounge. I would not consider staying here again.
