This hotel is older and it shows. The rooms are not tiny but not large, and it's fine for an overnight stay before a flight. The HVAC was loud and the water pressure was a bit weak, and the wi-fi was slow. On the other hand, the bed was comfortable and the room was fairly clean. The downside of this property is the staff. It's obvious that they are understaffed in some areas, but the staff that are there was abysmal. I don't appreciate the front desk pointing to some other employee Im supposed to go to in order to resolve my issue. Check in agent was apathetic, other interactions weren't any better. However, the shuttle driver was great and the service was excellent, with runs every 20 minutes 24/7.

Another great stay at the St. Louis Marriott Airport Hotel! Outstanding service from the entire staff. Conveniently located across the street from the airport and I-70. The bar and restaurant stays open until 1am, the club lounge is open again, updated rooms, and late night shuttle service making this one of my favorite places to stay in St. Louis. I highly recommend this hotel. A special thank you to Brandi, Ramon, JoAnne, and Matt for going above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay.

VERY DANGEROUS AREA!!! We picked this hotel because it is so close to the airport. We have stayed at other hotels close to the airport many times with no issues. This was our first time staying at this hotel. The lady who checked us in was very nice and efficient. After dropping our stuff off at the room we went to a local casino for a few hours and then came back for the night. The next morning before going to catch our plane for our trip for my birthday we learned that our car had been broken into! Our doors were all locked like usual. We didn't have anything visible in the car. They popped the glass completely out of the back driver's side door and put scratches down the side of the door. We filed a report with the hotel who now says it is park at your own risk even though they charge you to park there. We filled a police report as well and the officer said that this hotel has cars broken into all of the time and another car was broken into the same night ours was.! BEWARE IF YOU DECIDE TO TAKE YOUR CHANCES AND STAY AT THIS HOTEL YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR CAR AND POSSIBLY YOURSELF AT RISK! The hotel is not very nice for the price compared to other hotels in the area. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again and recommend you don't either.

We attended the Mid-Missouri Music Festival. The hotel’s air conditioning was damaged due to flooding in St. Louis. However, we got a letter from the event coordinator to say everything was fixed and functional. When we arrived to check in we were told that the air conditioning was not fixed but should be by evening. We went to the rooms and the mildew odor was overwhelming. Back to the check in counter. Next set of rooms were at about 83°. We went back to the desk to ask for assistance. The woman at the desk was so helpful. She told us many people were going to other hotels. We asked to speak to the event coordinator who emailed to tell us everything was fine. She was out of the office until next week. We then spoke to the manager Malaysia. She was rude and told us that we can go somewhere else, but offered no apology or options. We asked about Hilton that was close. She said yes they will honor our event rate. Needle to say the Hilton desk clerks had no idea what we were talking about. However after we explained they graciously honored the rate. Our experience there was great.

It turns out that this hotel in NOT managed by Marriott and it shows. Upon entry from outside, we were accosted by a horrific stale, musty, moldy smell. That same smell, it turns out is also in my pillowcases. They have obviously suffered some mold growth. Elevators are not clean and the general lack of real care is obvious through out the building. If this is a 4/star in St. Louis, it says more to me about St.Louis than I'd care to admit. I will not return and I would not recommend to others.

We get there and parking is difficult and no signs to help guide you to parking places. We finally find a spot and get our card for the room. It smelled weird in the hallways with a smell of weed. We get to the room and the door opens and works. We leave to get our bags and come back to the door not opening. We head back down stairs to tell staff and a gentleman helped and gave us new cards. We tried the new cards and they still did not work. So we went back down to the lobby and he gave us a new room on the 5th floor. As we’re going to the new room, we talked to a few other guests and they were having trouble with their room flooding as well and they needed a new room. Also, non of the vending machines work so don’t try and get a drink. We make it to the new room and it appeared nice….until a day or two later bed bug bites started to appear on my body. They got so bad I had to go to the doctor and get steroid shots and medicine. I called the hotel and let them know. The lady was nice but I have no clue if they will actually look into it or not. I will be calling back the next day to follow up. I did not pay almost 200$ for ONE night at a hotel to have a bed bug problem now at my house. I would not recommend this Marriott Hotel. Staff were nice, but overall condition of the place was not good.

I am a Marriott Titanium and have stayed often at this hotel, but have finally given up. It is dirty; during a 3 night stay the hallway was filthy and was never vacuumed. Daily housekeeping was not provided; I asked 3 times (morning, afternoon and evening) for clean towels which never arrived; I finally stood in the long check in line to get towels. The bar was understaffed with a long wait for service. I moved to the Renaissance for my last 2 stays, which was a great improvement.

Booked hotel through a third-party website, which did not give me the option to add parking on to my stay. At check-in, the lady who checked me in was likely new to her job, but she remained courteous and friendly as she worked through the system to add extended parking on to our stay. We arrived pretty late (8PM) and the hotel lobby bar was packed and pretty loud, however once you are out of the lobby, you no longer hear any of it. I did book my stay the day prior to travel and ended up with a ground floor room that was close to the lobby area. No complaints as ground-level rooms tend to bring in more noise which my husband and I did not experience, even with a packed lobby. The bed was comfortable and the room overall met my expectations with cleanliness. We utilized the airport shuttle, which runs on a regular schedule. The shuttle was reliable and on time for both leaving the hotel and arriving back after our trip. This was our first time booking with Marriott for a St. Louis airport hotel and we would definitely consider booking again.

This hotel needs to be bulldozed. They have given the lobby and restaurant a facelift but the rooms are old, musty and dingy. Our bathtub had a permanent black film on it. A room down the hall flooded and we listened to fans all night. There was a weird smell coming from the ac vents. Buffet for convention was terrible and not worth the money paid. Just avoid -

First, don't try to eat here - I had to bus and clean my own table. The seats and table are all torn up and old as the sun. I waited 20 minutes, no server, no menu. I got up and got my own menu. Then... nothing. I got up and ordered at the bar to my table. I had to ask for the rest of my order once it came. The food was disgusting. I literally could not recognize the chicken as actual food, so needless to say I did not eat it. Even the fries were burned... and I ordered them as a Hail Mary in case my dinner was bad. I didn't eat it. The floor is sticky. My shoes are sticking to the floor. Gross!! The elevator is gross and stinky. My room has peeling walls. The beds are so mushy that I was concerned I got an old room that someone had already laid on the sheets. There is just grime everywhere. I'm only here for a night and I hate this place. Never, ever, ever again. Yuck!!!!
