Stayed for a long weekend at the hotel and had dinner there one night. The hotel is old and comfortable. It has bags of character and both the Cellar Bar and garden are fabulous places to spend time over a drink or a lunch. Our room had all the amenities you expect including a recently refurbiished bathroom. With the window...

Stopped here today for lunch, never been before and a new area altogether for us both. We sat outside in glorious sunshine and had an excellent lunch with views of the sea! The staff were all very courteous and very helpful. Plus, and this is a big plus, they allow dogs! A thoroughly enjoyable experience, will certainly go there again.

This was our third visit and we were not disappointed. We booked last minute so didn't have a choice of room as it was the only one left Room 10 overlooking the garden. We had larger rooms on our previous visits but it suited us fine for our three night stay. The hotel is comfortable and has a nice cosy...

This is one of the nicest places to visit. The service is top notch. The food is out of this world and the environment is beautiful. Definitely 5 star for me. The menu choice is varied and all michelin star. Try the pannacotta, it is sublime

We had a room right at the top, which was very quiet - with a big extremely comfortable bed and view of the sea from the little windows. Good shower and bathroom. The chairs in the room were too small for comfort., we used tte sitting room downstairs to relax. Our evening meal was excellent, with good service. We were...

You get a warm welcome from cheery well presented staff here. The location is great and the decor and ambience give the place a quality look and feel. There's plenty of parking and we were quite looking forward to settling down for a decent lunch. We ordered the homemade burgers which sounded good. When they were served the underside was...

Visited The Manor for one night for a wedding reception nearby. On arrival staff were extremely friendly and helpful as we were shown to our room. Sea view was excellent. Room was clean and well presented. We didn't eat or drink at the bar/restaurant however it looked very welcoming. Breakfast the following morning was delightful. Continental buffet along with a...

We spent 3 nights here having just sold our house and needing some R and R. This is just what we got. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, the bed was very comfortable and the food very nice. I would say that I thought the room we had (No 7) was overpriced as the bathroom was dated and quite cold....

We enjoyed a very good lunch between Christmas and New Year. Lovely sunny day and we sat in the conservatory which was very warm! Service was good and the atmosphere was congenial. The location is extremely pleasant and the view of Chesil Beach is gorgeous.

We have just come back from our first weekend away without our baby boy, to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. What a great place! The room was amazing (room 1 - book it if you can), gorgeous view and very comfy bed. The food was amazing... that is one serious chef they have in the kitchen. The first night I...
