The room was nice. It had plenty of seating. The shuttle to the square was a nice feature and the driver was very helpful and gave great suggestions for dining. We would stay here again. The campus is beautiful and had the southern charm you expect.

Our family of 4 took an overnight trip to Oxford for an Ole Miss basketball game. This was a great location with a decently priced room. The lobby was nice, staff was friendly, and the room appeared clean. Nice new lament floors. No carpet! The restaurant McCormick’s, was nice to have onsite. The reason for 4 stars is that it appears they are slowly trying to renovate the hallways and rooms. The bathrooms are very worn and our room had no Ole Miss themed artwork as pictures on the website show. Rooms definitely have a dormitory feel to them. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives and I would be willing to stay here again.

Had to be in Oxford for a meeting and spent one night here. Check in was quick and I was in my room quickly. I had a two-room suite and it was quite large and nicely furnished. The sitting room had a sofa, table, and TV along with a sink, microwave and small fridge. The bedroom was quite large and had a comfy king size bed. There was a full bath and a connected half bath. Room was generally clean although not spotless. Never heard anything around me. Good choice if you are in the area.

The check in staff was friendly and helpful. Construction was going on in the lobby and there were a lot of workers around. Once we got to our room I smelled a musty smell around the sink area next to the mini fridge. The mini fridge contained food items from the previous guests. I went back to check in to make sure they gave us the correct room . While they were cleaning out the fridge, we explored the pool area. The pool area looked neglected and the water was dark? I don’t know what was the deal there. When I went to shower, the handle fell off when I tried to turn it on. The only good thing about hotel restaurant was the half price wine. If you’re hungry, go somewhere else. The waitress got orders mixed up along with the cards they were using. What is mess! I don’t know why hotels don’t routinely check the rooms to make sure everything is functioning properly and clean.

I have been all over the country the last three years in a row exploring various college campuses with my kids. Each time I have chosen the hotel on campus for the convenience of it. We arrived just after 11:00 am after traveling from the University of Alabama to visit my son who is in his first year there. For reference, we live in the Northeast so it was not as if our trip started in Alabama. We had to arrive to campus a bit ahead of 12:30 because my youngest was there for the Dance Team Clinic. When we went to check-in, and I realize it was ahead of check-in, I was told the room was ready but that if I wanted to get into the room early, I would have to pay an additional fee. She needed to finish getting herself ready after our nearly 3 hour ride from Alabama so I obliged.
Upon entering the suite style room, it is spacious and would be fine, if it were actually clean. I am the type of traveler who brings Lysol wipes to wipe down frequently touched surfaces. I noticed that there was some hair on the base of both toilets and was a bit grossed out however, at the moment, I she had to finish preparing and I had to get her to the venue which was within walking distance. While she was there I passed the time walking around the campus. When she was finished we went back to the room. It was now time for a shower. I was looking at the tile of the shower and thought, "is that dirt or part of the tile pattern"? It was hard to discern until I got my wipes and cleaned the wall. What was left on the wipes was disgusting! I have pictures. It was gross and yes, I did share with the front desk. I am abstaining from sharing them because the Inn, for now, has done the right thing.
Unfortunately, we gathered up our belongings and had to check-in at another hotel. I could not stay there in those conditions as I would have never slept wondering what else had not been adequately cleaned. It's really too bad since if you are looking for a quaint college campus, Ole Miss would be it. However, The Inn is not the place for us. Management should be looking into the cleaning of each of these rooms. It's easy enough to do walk throughs before allowing guests to enter a space which is not clean.

This $300+ taxes a night graduation weekend was a shocker as the old musty carpet stained room was so foul that housekeeping brought in a Glade plug in air freshener! That didn't mask the stained single bathroom sink or chipped paint on the door frames and baseboards. Though we asked for and got clean towels, there was no housekeeping on the second day. Save the effort and don't bother to make "coffee" in the room or you'll regret wasting the time. Get a Keurig!!

Location of hotel was great. Room, however; was not. Booked through Trivago. When I got to the hotel, I had no room. Showed them my confirmation so they found me a room. The room smelled like mold, the bathroom floor stayed wet the entire two days I was there. You really had to think not to blow dry your hair in bathroom or you might get electrocuted. Upon arrival in my room, there was absolutely no toilet paper. I think they must have just shoved me somewhere. Super old air conditioning unit. Bathroom was so small; absolutely no counter space (just a single sink). Also, half painted. Trim around mirror and lights, etc were not painted. Blinds in window were very old and sagged. I thought there was mold on the wall on the outside of the bathroom, but it was dust that had collected. No room for you to open and store a suitcase on the floor. If I stay there again, I will definitely make sure what kind of room I have before I stay. I think it could be a great hotel, but my room definitely was not!

I knew it wasn’t going to be the Four Seaons. It’s an on campus hotel. Great location. But when the bathroom has a brown watermark stain from years of dripping including upon my arrival, when there is dirt/mold all over the bathtub you just have to ask yourself why haven’t they repaired it? There is simply no excuse to pay $168 a night for a room screaming to be updated. It’s basic repairs—recaulk the bathtub! Can’t recommend the place there are plenty of hotels within a mile. Very disappointing.

The Inn at Ole Miss is the university's best kept secret.. very good price for excellent accommodations.. BUT.. don't even think you'll get into The Inn on home game weekends.. it will be all booked up and each and every room is very expensive.. but that's the case for any big time university's hotels.. AGAIN.. from Sunday to Wednesday and if the weekend is an away game.. The Inn is the place to stay..

Nice hotel, staff was very nice. Don't understand why you get a room with a kitchenette with no utensils or plates/bowls, etc. Also had to ask for shampoo as a new one was not given when room was cleaned. Air conditioning never turned off. It was a great location on campus and not a far walk from the square.
