First off they had our reservation for the wrong weekend. They they tell us because we are here this weekend that the second night will be $169.00? what? Well because "Larry the cable guy" has a show at the casino. She called a manager and they said..."sorry".... Then there is the hotel. It's in great need of a super cleaning and updating. Carpets gross and it smells like mildew and cigarettes. The staff was ok... I am sure they get tired of all the complaints. The positive was.. the shower was great andy he water was super hot and had good pressure.. always find the silver lining.. We won't be back.
Check in was a breeze. But once we stepped off the elevator onto the 2nd floor we were shocked by the nasty carpet. From the elevator to our room all the way down the hall it was nasty. Our door would barely open and shut. The floor in our room were nasty but the room smelled cleaned. The beds were comfy. Sheets a little rough but whatever. The fridge, coffee maker, and microwave were all clean. We did see a small roach in the bathroom who is no longer with us. The hot water took forever to get to us and we were just on the 2nd floor. The tub was clean and the shower had good water pressure. There was spilled make up on the hair dryer and wall. It worked for one night.
Nice golf courses on property but hotel needs some care. carpets in all hallways are stained badly, my room had water damage above window. guy using air compressor to blow dirt and debris in lot, blowing this crap along the cars parked nearby. Had rear door locked so you couldn't access clubhouse unless you drove around building. Not the most friendly staff. I won;t return ever. service at course was not good either, a couple guys in a cart just pointed and told me to get my clubs myself, not what i'm used to at resort clubs.
Stayed here for a funeral, it was close. Booked 2 rooms. The toilet was broken in my room, the moved me, the second room when we opened the door there were roaches. My 83yr old mother had one in her bed in the other room 4 rooms and 1 day later we moved to thier other property. Not as nice but no roaches.
Horrible hotel. At first Class this place look nice but when walking to our room we noticed several large stains all on the carpet in the hallway. That should’ve been our first inkling of what we would encounter. Our floor in our room with very stained up it had been vacuumed there weren’t earrings on the floor trash on the floor I think this is an eyelash on the floor it could be a bug I don’t know I didn’t want to look too closely. And there was a bug in the bathtub and the floor was very dirty. Obviously all they did in this room with make up the bed. Or at least I hope. Thank Goodness we always bring our own pillows and blanket because we slept on top of the bed. This place ain’t worth any kind of money whatsoever. Management had no response to room conditions and had no other room available. If it hadn’t been so late at night I’d have raised more of a fuss. All I can do it give it the reviews on every medium I can to discourage other stays. Horrible hotel …
I don’t even know where to begin. My family checked in the Dancing Rabbit Inn this afternoon and when my mom asked the employee at the front desk for restaurant recommendations for dinner, she was extremely rude and did not want to give us any options. When we got to our room, we immediately noticed that the sofa in our “junior suite” was broken and dilapidated (as pictured) with the pillows almost touching the floor. The junior suite was depicted as being able to accommodate several people, which is what we needed with 2 adults and 3 children. We called the front desk and told them about this issue and they proceeded to tell us that they took the mattresses out of all the sofa sleepers in the hotel. The employees did not know how to respond when we asked where several people in our party were supposed to sleep. After walking to the front desk on disgusting and sticky hallway carpet, the manager named Raymond told us that they would give us a cot free of charge. When the cot was delivered, the maid wheeled it in and there were no pillows or blankets with it. We asked if we could get some and she said she’d check on it. After waiting on pillows and blankets for a while and not receiving them, we went downstairs a second time and asked the manger Raymond if we could have pillows and blankets, he told us that the hotel was OUT OF PILLOWS. WHAT!?! When we threatened to find another hotel, he said that he would ask one of the two hotels at the casinos down the road if they could bring some of their pillows to the Dancing Rabbit—we were appalled. This experience has been absolutely awful. The staff is extremely rude and not accommodating to their guests. The pool closed at 8:00 on a weekend, forcing us to sit in our disgusting room until it was time for bed. I would not recommend this place to anyone and know for sure that I will not be visiting again. A -5 star rating from me!!…
They gave away the room I had reserved with them so they stepped me down to a smaller room. The air conditioner didn’t work. It hotel wasn’t clean. In fact the front desk clerk told me after I asked about why wasn’t my room available and he said I should’ve read the fine print, they weren’t obligated for having the room I reserved available, they were only obligated to have A room available. Never again will I stay at this hotel. Poorly run.
This place was terrible it was dirty especially the carpet. The fixtures in the bathroom were rusty. The lamp on the night stand appeared to have holes from burning on the light bulb. Kids rand through the halls until 5 AM, shortly before 5AM the kids set the fire alarm off causing a fake warning. The contential breakfast consisted of a cake plate placed on top of a counter with a few donuts and coffee. The elevator buttons were mixed matched making it somewhat difficult to differentiate one from the other. Time for a remodel. Not to forget The lack of hospitality from the staff.
If it wasn't for the convenience to the golf course and non-smoking/non-casino environment, we would not have chosen the inn. Staff is quite introverted and does not go out of their way to provide hospitality..... perhaps it's an indian culture thing. Bed pillows are half size of the type most people have at home and therefore very uncomfortable even though 2 were firm and 2 were soft on the king size bed. The room and bathroom were very clean which was impressive. The furniture is a bit worn and could use some TLC. I found a flying red roach on the upper wall in the bathroom in the morning - harmless but not desireable. Next let me clarify the concept of the advertised 'free breakfast included in the room'. It is a continental breakfast at the inn - muffins, juice, and coffee. It is NOT a full breakfast with eggs and sausage, etc. If you want to pay $10 for a full breakfast at the golf course clubhouse which includes grits, gravy, biscuits, bacon, sausage patty, and scrambled eggs with water, coffee or orange juice, then have at it. Just remember it will be charged to your room. Golf course is beautiful, clubhouse is nice, and the casino is entertaining and convenient. The inn needs to offer amenities that are competitive with Hampton Inn and the La Quinta hoteliers.…
Our room had fixtures and trim that should be repaired or replaced and have not been. Some amenities like the access to the indoor pool/ hot tub had been blocked off so I couldn't use them. I went to ask about it at the front counter and no one was attending the front desk. The free breakfast was three of the same bran muffins. That's all.
