Detailed Reviews
My company had its annual golf tournament at Dancing Rabbit on Oct. 12th. I stayed at this property because it's parking lot joins the golf course parking lot...so less travel for me. This hotel is a great alternative to staying at the Silver Star Casino. I've stayed at the Silver Star numerous times and if you have too, then you know about the omnipresent cigarette smoke, irregardless of whether you have a "Non Smoking" room. Anyway...this property is well kept, fresh, and management aims to please. When I checked in the desk clerk asked if I'd like to credit this to my Hilton Honors account, which I had forgotten to furnish when the reservation was made. A 24 hour golf cart shuttle runs between the Dancing Rabbit club house and the casino for those who have the late night itch to gamble. The breakfast at this property was great, but a little pricey. No problems with security or anything else. I woudn't hesitate to stay here again...but I heard that the Tribe is going to buy this property and if that's true, then I'd expect the property & service to decline. I don't make the news, just report it....

Reasonable room. Convenient to casino. Clean, nice, good price. Allows pets! For minimal fee of $10 I think it was. Which was great! Free breakfast, shuttle to casino. Can get pkg with water park tickets.

The staff was nice and courteous. They are the only pet friendly hotel in the area. It's close to the Pearl River Resort and Casino, like right off the same road. There were lots of parking spots and the rooms were awesome. The proximity of the room was great for my family to unload.

+1
Check in was a breeze. But once we stepped off the elevator onto the 2nd floor we were shocked by the nasty carpet. From the elevator to our room all the way down the hall it was nasty. Our door would barely open and shut. The floor in our room were nasty but the room smelled cleaned. The beds were comfy. Sheets a little rough but whatever. The fridge, coffee maker, and microwave were all clean. We did see a small roach in the bathroom who is no longer with us. The hot water took forever to get to us and we were just on the 2nd floor. The tub was clean and the shower had good water pressure. There was spilled make up on the hair dryer and wall. It worked for one night.

Nice golf courses on property but hotel needs some care. carpets in all hallways are stained badly, my room had water damage above window. guy using air compressor to blow dirt and debris in lot, blowing this crap along the cars parked nearby. Had rear door locked so you couldn't access clubhouse unless you drove around building. Not the most friendly staff. I won;t return ever. service at course was not good either, a couple guys in a cart just pointed and told me to get my clubs myself, not what i'm used to at resort clubs.

First off they had our reservation for the wrong weekend. They they tell us because we are
here this weekend that the second night will be $169.00? what? Well because "Larry the cable guy" has a
show at the casino. She called a manager and they said..."sorry"....
Then there is the hotel. It's in great need of a super cleaning and updating. Carpets gross
and it smells like
mildew and cigarettes.
The staff was ok... I am
sure they get tired of all the complaints.
The positive was.. the shower was great andy he water was super hot and had good
pressure.. always find the silver
lining..
We won't be back.

This is an up to date, newly remodeled facility. Our king room was beautiful. Short walk across the parking lot to the golf courses. They even had continental breakfast (coffee and pastries) that was unexpected. We’d highly recommend this (we did go to the casinos to eat and play games but enjoyed being away on a quiet space). Friendly staff too!

Beautifully remodeled. If you had a bad experience, give it another try now. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was fantastic. A short walk to the golf course, we will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Dancing Rabbit.

I am in Philadelphia for work and have been staying at The Dancing rabbit Inn for almost two months now. Some of the reasons I choose to stay is are the Oaks Grill, the convenience of being able to wash my cloths and the cleanliness of the rooms. The problem is that the Oaks Grill is rarely open for it's scheduled hours 4 to 9 on weekdays. I have been down, after working all day, at 7:30 or 8 and they are closed or closing. The service when they are open is hit or miss, depending on who is working. Most of the time the waitress/bartender is too busy either on the phone or outside smoking cigarettes. The food is over priced and poorly prepared. One of the managers (Rachael) is on a power trip and is just plain rude. Since I have been here I have payed enough money to buy ten washing machines yet I haven't been able to wash cloths without driving to the laundromat because the laundry area has been out of service. House keeping is half assed. If you just need a place to sleep and a shuttle to the casinos and don't mind paying for it, this is the place for you. If you expect to get the service and accommodations you pay for, go somewhere else.

I have always been a fan of the Hilton Garden Inn. . . Modest price, beautiful and clean facilities, and great amenities. My June 16-17 stay was NOT a positive reflection on the usual great Hilton family tradition! My room keys did not work. When given new keys, I quickly learned that the room was already occupied by other guests. The front desk clerk responded with, "Oh, that was my mistake." I knew it wasn't my mistake! I was finally assigned to another room that was too warm and reaked of mildew (or it smelled that way). I'm not ready to give up on Hilton, but I am striking this propery from my list.

Response from TTFoster, General Manager at Dancing Rabbit Inn
Responded Jul 21, 2011
Dear AltravelG; Please accept our sincerest apologies for your unfavorable experience recently at the Hilton Garden Inn Choctaw on June 16-17, 2011. You are absolutely correct that we "dropped the ball" with your check in experience as well as the overalll cleanliness of your guest room resulting in the unfavorable smell you have described. I have addressed these issues with our front desk staff as well as our housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure that we do the best job possible when serving our guests. We hope that you can forgive us and that you would be willing to give us a second chance to re-earn your business in the future. Thank you for your honest feedback as that is truly the only way I can improve our team. Wishing you a great rest of the summer!
