Highly recommend. The B&B location is perfect for a walk to the town square. The town is charming. And our hostess, Jacqueline, was a poster-woman for Southern Hospitality - she was elegant, eloquent, engaging and a skilled cook. We adored our spacious, beautifully appointed room, the Insta-worthy home decor, the delish breakfast food, the complimentary wine after a long journey, and feeding treats to the entertaining chickens. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

The Z house is a quaint B&B in the charming town of Oxford! The owners are so welcoming and lovely to visit with or share a glass of wine with. If they aren't in town then Jacqueline will look after you just as well. We have been there twice already and have reservations for a third visit in the spring. The Z is perfectly located within walking distance of the square. Their breakfasts are always delicious as well - with fresh eggs from the chickens out back. We love this B&B and are so happy we found it!

This is the second time that I have stayed at The Z, and I am booking again in October. I love the interior design of the home, the delicious breakfasts, warm cookies when you walk through the doors, lazy mornings on the front porch, and the Z’s gracious, warm, hospitable hostess, Jacqueline. I brought my small dog, Rosie, and they even had a little bed for her. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Our extended family so enjoyed the beauty of the this magnificent home. We were in Oxford for a family wedding and this house luxuriously accommodated us.
We were preparing meals for a number of people and it was very stressful to not understand how to use the ovens. The Gaggenau ovens' control panels were very difficult to understand. It took 3 phone calls to the owner before she mentioned where the instructional manual was located.

Good morning Kassy! I am so glad your family enjoyed your beautiful wedding weekend with your family! Thank you for your time to write a review. We take these reviews very seriously and appreciate all communication. As to the high end Gaggenau ovens, I have learned that most people preferred me to verbally talk them through any questions since the manual is so extensive. I felt more personal talking to you than telling you to read the manual. We have never had an oven operational issue with any past guest but in the future, we will make guest aware of the manual. I know your precious family enjoyed your lovely meals!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Laugh room. Our room was comfortable and the large walk-in shower with rain shower head was great! The innkeeper, Jacqueline, was friendly and prepared delicious breakfasts with lots of fresh fruit. The complementary wine and spirits and fresh baked cookies were a nice touch! The weather was perfect and we walked everywhere - the Square, Rowan Oak, University Museum and Ole Miss campus. We had dinner at Boure (Crab Cakes were great!) and Happy Hour (pepperoni pizza was great!) at Saint Leo. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and having the use of the living areas. Much better than a regular hotel room!

What an incredible, charming B&B! We were greeted with a genuine Southern welcome from Emma and her delicious homemade pumpkin cookies! From the minute you walk in, you can’t help but be in awe of how beautiful each room is decorated down to the very last detail! The breakfast Emma made was delectable and healthy! It was a delight to sit on the porch swing with our coffees after breakfast. You couldn’t put a price on being able to walk to Ole Miss University. We didn’t have to worry about where to park on game day or how much parking would be. Walking there and back was the best! Emma’s friendly disposition and easy conversation about anything added to the charm of this B&B. Can’t wait to come back & stay here again on our next trip to Oxford!

Simple, safe, comfortable bed and breakfast within easy walking distance from the square. Room was comfortable and the hostess was delightful in her conversation around the breakfast table and making everyone feel comfortable. Her waffles were a work of art. Hating pushing back from the table to begin my long drive home.

My husband and I had the best experience at the Z! Everything about it was perfect, from the location just blocks from the square and a short walk through a beautiful neighborhood to Faulkner's home, to the cozy decor, to the delicious breakfast. Innkeeper Emma was WONDERFUL. She welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately, had a fresh bouquet of flowers by the bed, brewed the best coffee, gave us great recommendations for where to eat and shop, and made sure all of our needs were met. For the quintessential Oxford experience in an atmosphere where you feel like you're staying in a good friend's beautiful home, I can't recommend the Z Bed & Breakfast enough!

So happy to have found this place! Greeted with fresh baked cookies. Promptly followed by adult beverages before heading out for the evening. Easy walk to Square and campus. Very comfortable vibe - relaxing with cup of coffee in sunroom as Jacqueline cooked a hot breakfast. Stayed in Laugh. Very comfortable bed. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot! A quick and easy walk into town. There was both driveway parking for one vehicle and street parking. The Shanty, the property where we stayed, is a perfect little two bedroom with the original 1950s kitchen sink and updated decor. I absolutely love the old rocker and how the owner used contemporary designs fused with original period pieces. Make sure you look at each chandelier, such creativity.
The owner was very easy to communicate with.
