The location was great, quiet, clean, and staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, the same breakfast was offered each day. Keith, the owner, was very helpful about the places to visit and shared the history of Oxford, which is a neat little town with a old-time square and close-by great restaurants in addition to the University of Mississippi. It had lovely outdoor... More

We had a great visit at The 5 Twelve. The staff members were extremely accommodating. Keith, the owner was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, equidistant from Ole Miss and the Court House square. It is a beautiful town. We walked a lot and were happy to put our feet up at The 5 Twelve. Delicious breakfasts. Loved the... More

Went February 2016 not knowing what to expect. Found 512 clean, the bed wonderfully comfortable, unique design of rooms; upstairs had the bedrooms each with private bathrooms; downstairs hosted the parlors and dining room; because the bed was like heaven, I only made it to breakfast once, but my husband had o.j,, eggs of his choice, bacon, sausage, fruit and... We stayed there for 1 night during Thanksgiving week. The location is great for visiting Oxford and Ole Miss etc. The place just seemed a little tired, got the impression that it had been a great B'n'B a few years back but that maybe it just going through the motions now. Difficult to put a finger on it! Breakfast wasn't... More

The 5 Twelve is not only conveniently located to the town square, but it's just far enough away to be able to relax and have some peace and quiet. Sit on the large porch with a drink or kick back inside with some friends and certainly don't miss the home southern breakfast.

This was one of the biggest disappointments of our 3 week tour of the South East. There was a complete lack of hospitality - something you expect when you stay in a BnB. The room was very small and plain. Breakfast was fairly poor. The fruit on the fruit plate was mostly brown. It was basic and budget. For the... More

Not only is the location ideal, but the warmth and inviting ambience is also present. This historical home has lots of charm but has also been renovated without destroying its historical value. Although there are areas that need attention, our room and bathroom was extremely comfortable for today's savvy traveler. Keith, the owner is very accommodating We really enjoyed our... More

Great location, walking distance to Ole Miss and the Historic Square. Southern hospitality to its finest. Keith, the owner, is a fantastic guy. Wonderful breakfast. Staying here has the feel of living as a local in Oxford. Room #6 on the top floor is where I stayed, and it was perfect. Great service all around. If you need a place... More

Gracious people; nice suite. It must have been close to 100 degrees during our visit but the place was cool and welcoming. Nice southern breakfast provided the next morning--cooked to order. Lovely people. The rates go sky high during football weekends--if you're planning a non-Ole Miss visit during the fall better check around that. The football weekend rates were actually... More

Oxford is an amazing town so this B&B offers you walking distance to an enjoyable experience . We go to many bed and breakfasts so in comparing this for the price, we found it coming up short . The personal touch didn't exist. The room was nice and roomy, but the shower was very awkward, bathroom door wouldn't latch and... More
