We enjoyed a one night stop and could have been happy for 2-3 days here with the nice view of the lake. I think this gets a ton of weekend use, but mid week was great. Quite and pretty. Cons - Pool costs $6 per person. They park Manager is allowing HUGE truck truckers to live in the park. These... More

The pros; level concrete pads, nice view of the lake, and decent bath house. The cons; concrete pads are filthy. Bring a broom and a leaf blower or you will track the filth into your camper. Also bring a trash bag and rubber gloves so you can pick up the trash in your campsite. You will need to clean the... More

Stayed overnight while passing thru the area. The campsites, full hook up, were level and all services were functional. The lake area and the lake itself need some attention and repair. No a bad place to stay but upside is huge. Maybe a budget issue like most state parks.

Stayed here for one night. We had site 60 with FHU which is a lake site. The views are amazing however the park needs to be kept up better. There was trash left by others at our site and in the lake and beach area. There were zip ties around trees and fishing line in trees. I did see an... More

The cabin we were assigned was horrible. Looked like a cheap motel/hotel. The appliances were out of date. The floor in the bathroom was horrible. There was a hole in the floor with rotted wood showing. It smelled old. The remote control batteries were held in by tape. We left within three minutes of doing a walk through of cabin... More

Hotel was old and could tell it had water damage at one time. The bedspread had dried blood on the underside and blood splatters on the walls. My nephew and his family stayed in another room and found a rusty old fish hook in the bedspread. As far as the campground we love staying there we just couldn't bring our... More

My family and one other family camped there for a weekend. The Park is beautiful and clean with nice views of the lake, however, they were giving airboat rides to the employees for an appreciation day. I am a government employee myself and commend them for having such a day, but, when the noise level of airboat rides is so... More

We came during the week, and were the only one staying at the lodge! So privacy and quiet were not an issue. The room was nice, but not in perfect condition. But overall I was satisfied, there was just some cosmetic damages by water. We were in the corner room which meant we had two windows on the lake and... More

This state park is beautiful. Great facilities and awesome fishing, wildlife and activities. However, the old cabins need to be renovated or condemned. Our family stayed in C1 and it has rotten floors that you could almost fall through. The musty odor in the cabin was horrible and we fought off roaches and crickets everywhere. The carpeting and upholstery was... More

We found this place on-line and, as we were traveling on, stayed only one night. We had a lovely lake view from our campsite. Very picturesque. We chose the R.O. Hannah Loop, as it's less busy and we were looking for peace and quiet. We camped in site 13. It was wonderful. We saw wildlife in the campground and on... More
