This bed and breakfast is worth going the extra mile for. It is located on a convenient street in Laurel, MS and run by an elderly couple. The ambience is remarkable. You feel as though you stepped back in time. The decor is unique and the living room is decorated like the "Blue Room" at the White House. You get... More

We visited on a cousins weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The inn is located in a wonderful old home that is beautifully furnished. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom which had a king bed and a twin. It was a wonderfully large room with two wingback chairs and everything else a bedroom needs. The bath had a vintage claw... We stayed at the Wisteria and were highly impressed. We were able to walk downtown and found a great restaurant, a charming little coffee shop, and a wonderful art museum within walking distance. To top it all off, the Wisteria is a great place. There are three suites. We stayed upstairs in the Magnolia Suite. The bed is comfortable, the... More

We enjoyed our stay in Laurel and at the Wisteria. Very quiet and easy walking distance to the charming downtown. Our breakfast (waffles with bacon, sausage and fruit) was excellent and we really enjoyed talking to Earl and listening to stories about his hometown. Added bonus: filming for the new HGTV series "Home Town" was going on during our visit.... More

We fell into this by accident and enjoyed every second of Peggy and Earls beautiful home. Awesome home, lovely atmosphere and if we ever came back here we would stay. Breakfast was plentiful and hot food on offer. The porch and the verandah swing was the epitome of my idea of a true southern home.

Stayed here with friends as part of a coast to coast trip in USA. Tried to avoid the bigger towns and chain place and so this place was probably the highlight of the trip. Old charm, fantastic service and Peggy and Earl who two of the nicest people I've met. Fantastic breakfast, my friends who hates grits now admits they... More

The accomodations were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the company was delightful. The porch and patio were very inviting and we enjoyed the beautiful weather there. We slept very well in the king sized bed. Upon arrival we were shown where the thermostat was located and invited to set it to whatever temperature would be most comfortable to... More

Peggy and Earl made my friend and me feel right at home with their easygoing and welcoming ways. It was fun to discover that Peggy was from Athens, GA, which is close to my home. We just left the Wisteria Bed and Breakfast this morning but would have loved to stay another day. The front and back porches looked so inviting with the white wicker swing and chairs- it would have been fun to sit and read a good book all day.
