We stayed here on our road trip up the Natchez Trace from Natchez to Nashville. It is a beautiful, tastefully decorated B&B with 4 rooms in the main house and two cabins next door. We stayed in the Sallie Room upstairs in the main house - very comfortable bed with lots of windows and plenty of natural light. Main house...

We planned the trip around the Natchez Trace. Stayed in the carriage house which is one of the nicest. Great room and cabin located in historic village area. Cafe meals were very good and priced right. However, the morning breakfast included in the room price was the best I have had in a very long time. Baked egg, blueberry pancakes,...

We stayed here for just the one night while travelling the Trace from Nashville to Natchez. Our previous four nights had been spent on a side trip to Memphis for Beale Street festival, and after 4 full on days French Camp was just the escape we needed. We had the B&B jnr cabin, which was much bigger than we expected,...

Never knew this existed in our area. Quiet and relaxing. Very laid-back. Enjoyed the visit and went to the local church on Sunday. People so friendly. Invited to join them for lunch at the Academy's cafeteria since there were no restaurants nearby.

Historic Natchez Trace near by.. Rooms are so well kept and love each room. Breakfast served in the main dining area. Box breakfast on Sundays as kitchen is closed. No TV. Wi-Fi available in Main House.

We planned a drive along the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway on our way up to Michigan. I saw this historic-looking Bed and Breakfast on the web, and we decided to give it a try. What a rare find: Rustic, quiet, and scenic. We checked in about 3:00 pm after a tiring eight-hour drive. We stayed upstairs in the "Main B&B"...

Only stayed for one night at this wonderful Inn. Very friendly manager who went out of her way to accommodate us after arriving late on a Sunday afternoon. Had the place all to ourselves and enjoyed the view and quiet evening sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. Very clean rustic rooms in the revamped historical building. Breakfast was...

French Camp B&B is not only an interesting place from a historical stand point but is a great place to stay and explore. Everyone in the community is so friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere makes you want to consider staying permanently there.

Our room was rustic with a bit of a log feel and nice views to the woods. We dined at the French Academy cafe for dinner and were served by the students. It is nice to know that our stay and meals help support the cause of the French Academy to provide a stable foundation for young people. :)

We stayed in the Memphis guesthouse at Camp of the Rising Son. Our room was quiet, simple and clean. Had I figured things out I probably would have stayed at the Bed and Breakfast in the historic district. The 2 sites are a couple miles apart. But I was satisfied with our room. One advantage of being at the Camp...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
French Camp Academy’s Bed and Breakfast is one of the few B & Bs located adjacent to the Natchez Trace Parkway. In 1986, French Camp Academy moved two clerestory log cabins built between 1840 and 1870 from Eupora, Mississippi, to French Camp. They were placed side by side and joined together with an addition matching the period architecture. Some of the original pine logs are 18 inches in diameter. The inn officially began receiving visitors in March 1987. ... more   less
