I can't believe that this place has been right in my back yard (well the South Island and I live in the North Island) for all these years! I'm annoyingly fussy, love luxury and something a little different. The Bay of Many Coves will tick all of your boxes and more. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are absolutely amazing, the food is gorgeous and Steve the cat just fills my void as well. Graeme the Manager certainly knows what he is doing and is always around making sure all your needs are met. (Thanks G) x This is our second time back in 2 months, I'm sure we will be back again. I will mention that if anyone is wanting to get here super quickly, they do have a helicopter pad on site; grab yourself a quick chopper ride and boom!!!

Thank you Narelle for your kind words. It was a pleasure having you here in September and an absolute delight to have you back again this week. It was nice to meet your family this trip and appreciate the impromptu possum cull your son carried out for us. Thanks for pointing out the magic of arriving or departing by helicopter because it is indeed a special way to visit the resort. I hope the return flight to Auckland was fun and that you enjoyed lunch in Wanganui on route. Thank you for your acknowledgement of our fantastic team - they will certainly appreciate your kind words. I look forward to welcoming you back to the resort again soon.

We were fortunate enough to spend 3 amazing nights with good friends taking in all the resort could offer. The whole experience left us feeling like we had found somewhere very special indeed! What made the three days stand out, aside from the sumptuous food, (the degustation evening was amazing) NZ wines and obvious natural beauty of the location was the warm nature of the great team of people who ensured we lacked for nothing. Graham our host went out of his way to sort an impromptu fishing trip for 2 of us. We were blown away by his generosity and focus on our stay being not just memorable but exceptional!!

We have just come back from 3 nights at the Bay of Many Coves Resort. The whole experience was fabulous. The Marlborough Sounds are majestic and the boat trip out to the Bay was stunning. The resort’s style is understated luxury. Our apartment was very well appointed and had great views. The staff were relaxed and attentive. The food was amazing- particularly the degustation menu on our last night, beautifully complemented by delicious wines. Dolphins played in the Bay while we ate breakfast. We saw and heard many native birds. We took a boat up to Ship Cove and walked part of the Queen Charlotte track- spectacular. Thank you to Graham and his team for looking after us so well- would love to come back.

Thank you so much Anne for such a lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure to have you and Lisa stay with us here at the Bay of Many Coves on our Stay 3, Pay 2 package. I really appreciate your feedback on the amazing work that the team do, from our front of house superstars to our wonderful chefs and amazing housekeeping team. The walk up to Ship Cove and a visit to Motuara Island is a must do and the walk back to Furneaux Lodge certainly takes in some of the most beautiful parts of the Queen Charlotte track - even if it took you so long that you missed the boat to get back.🤣 Guys thank you again for coming down to stay with us and I very much look forward to welcoming you back to this beautiful part of the Marlborough Sounds very soon.

My husband and I booked out the resort to celebrate our combined 60th. I was a little nervous that the pictures and reviews might not be accurate. But everything was way beyond our expectations! The setting is extraordinary. Lush green bush, fabulous bird life, dolphins, deep blue/green sea and a resort designed for views and privacy. The rooms were just perfect. Everything you needed was there or a phone call away. The quality of the rooms and dining area was spot on. Quality but not over the top so that you will feel uncomfortable as I have in other lodges we have stayed in. Best not leave out the food. Yummy yummy yummy! But that is not the best of it. The best is the Staff. Cannot express enough just how fabulous they all were. Could not fault them. They were friendly, courteous, respectful and attentive. We were all sad to leave. So to all the staff at BOMC thank you for making our combined 60th a very memorable event. We will be back.

Thank you so much Wayne and Cath for choosing to come and stay here at the Bay of Many Coves to celebrate your milestone birthdays. We have already spoken about the delight our team felt with all of your guests, arguably one of the best groups I have experienced in my almost 4 years here at the resort. Thank you also for your acknowledgement (and I know you know what I mean) of our team they were blown away by your generosity and have asked me to thank you so much. I’m so glad you enjoyed your time down here and it is even nicer to be able to share special memories such as this with those closest to you. Yours was a wonderful group Cath and Wayne and I can’t thank you enough for supporting us by having this special birthday down here in the Marlborough Sounds. I hope to see you both again very soon.

We have just spent a wonderful weekend celebrating 2 special birthdays at this fantastic destination. The whole resort was hired out and the manager Graeme along with his staff made us feel part of the BOMC family. Nothing was to difficult for them often working long hours to make sure everything was perfect for this special celebration weekend. A special thanks to Aaron and Lewis who lead the way with the kitchen and wait staff and their delicious meals! We were kept well fed and watered 🍾🥂 all weekend! We highly recommend this place for a special weekend of being spoilt in a beautiful part of New Zealand! If your lucky they may sing you off as you sail into the sunset full of great memories!
