We stayed at BOMC for 3 nights in August 2016 and has been one of our favourite holidays ever! It was everything we had hoped for and more. The team are attentive, relaxed, but efficient and friendly - they also know when to give you space. The accomodation was amazing, beautiful rooms with incredible views. Loved the shower and the... SO RELAXING, SO BEAUTIFUL, SO ‘DELICIOUS’ – THIS IS ONE OF OUR #HAPPYPLACES There’s not a week that goes past that at least one of the family says, “Wish we were at The Bay Of Many Coves right now”… and even though this doesn’t do it justice, here’s why: The Bay of Many Coves is perfectly secluded away from the... Thank you for your beautifully written review. We loved having you and your family to stay. What gorgeous children you have - so appreciative of us but what was most impressive was how grateful they were to you for giving them a Bay of Many Coves experience. It is so lovely when people "get" how special our piece of paradise... More

Positives The views from the cabins are good, the cabins are good and the bed is comfortable, the staff are friendly and the breakfasts are good. Negatives The furniture in the lounge room is uncomfortable and not up to 5 star standards (sometimes it rains so you will be inside) The meals at night are not as high a standard... More

Access to this lovely lodge is by water only. We took a seafood cruise on the way, stopping at a mussel farm and salmon farm and tasting some of the freshest seafood possible... NZ green shell muscles are to die for! The lodge itself offers spectacular views over the Sounds from all rooms and the restaurant. Rooms are spacious and... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Our mussels are fabulous aren't they! It was great you exercised your muscles with a walk up to the lookout. The scenery is a feast in itself but we are thrilled you so enjoyed our local food and beautiful wine. Our staff love to go the extra mile to make the experience... More

Touring New Zealand by car for 3 weeks, we were constantly on the go, driving, sightseeing, and just getting from one place to another. About half way through our trip we had arranged to stay at the Bay of Many Coves. The only way to reach this hotel is by water taxi, making it a private and relaxing retreat. We... More

Many thanks for taking the time to provide such a comprehensive review. We are thrilled to hear our staff looked after you so well. Their intuitive serviced is a reflection of our "guest first" culture. Like "102" all our apartments are nestled strategically into the hillside and all have a slightly different but stunning view of the Bay. They are... More

This place is something special. Only a 30 min boat trip from Picton but you feel a million miles away from anywhere. Staff, food, rooms all excellent. Amazing pool and hot tub to soak in under the stars. Paddleboarding, walks, or just relaxing ... could have stayed there a week. Thanks James, Meg and everyone for a great stay. Tip... More

Thank you so much for your lovely comments and great review. We are delighted you enjoyed so much of what we have to offer here at the Bay of Many Coves. We recently spent two nights with Murray and Elaine at their beautiful Bay of Many Coves in the Marlborough Sound. We booked our New Zealand holiday with Relaxing Journey and our agent, Mani, prepared our hosts with my disability needs and the staff at... More

This small hotel offers luxurious suites, excellent food, and a great wine list with a knowledgeable sommelier, The location is remote--water access only, But every suite, and every place you go, has a wonderful water view.

Top-notch boutique hotel with attentive service in an amazing setting. I could not have a higher opinion on the the rooms, the views, the peace and quiet that it all creates. The staff was remarkably kind and very helpful. This hotel is above and beyond in all respects, and we hope to be back again someday.
