I stayed at this wonderful home away from home recently. The next morning, I woke up to find out that I had a flat tire on my truck. Since it was a business trip and I was in a hurry, I had to ride to the meeting location with my business partner. Sallie, the Inn Keeper, suggested that I leave the keys with them and they would "take care of it". I did so without hesitation. At the end of the day, they had taken it to a local shop. It turned out that it was just a loss of pressure. There was no charge!! Talk about exceeding customer expectations!! Wow!! Thanks Sallie!!!

I stayed here two nights with my husband and toddler. I have been in Brookhaven for my cousin's wedding and chose the Whitworth because I wanted to see what downtown Brookhaven had to offer and because of its close proximity to the venue site. I was expecting a basic hotel and got something MUCH more. The room is incredibly clean, spacious and has all the amenities you would want in a hotel. To be honest, it feels more like an Air BnB/someone's home, but with turn down/cleaning service. There are complimentary snacks and drinks (including a wide selection of teas) in the beautiful lobby. While we did not get to enjoy the breakfast, I can imagine it would be great. Simply put, I was pleasantly shocked/surprised at how nice this place was and would highly recommend it to anyone passing through these parts.

A first trip to Brookhaven has surprised us with the lovely Southern charm and hospitality in his beautifully crafted inn on the downtown square. Sweeping high ceilings, calming colors, original art, enveloped us into the inn’s nest of respite. Innkeeper Sallie’s warm greeting made us feel at home and welcomed. There are restaurants, pastries, and coffee within walking distance. The train rumbles through the downtown area occasionally to complete the ambience. I hope we will be able to return. It seems many guests have been here numerous times and are quickly recognized by Sallie when they arrive.

This is a unique hotel. Its wine is not that great, but you can bring your own and have a relaxing view of an old southern city square from the comfort of a great sitting area while sipping your best wine. This is an accommodating place as you can imagine, the rooms are spacious and clean and everything works like it is suppose to. The guest are even friendly!!!
