I have been to B&B's all over the world. The breakfast here was one of the top two, we have ever had at a B&B. The other being in Belgium. This home and the owners were so adorable. Sweet Southern Charm, the home and the family. We walked the property through a magnolia forest to the river, a new experience for me. We had been volunteering in the area and had a week of 15 hour days. We slept undisturbed for 15 hours straight in their cloud of a bed. We were there five years ago during the month of June. I am so glad to know it is still open.
Great home. Said this was last night as B&B. Not continuing their business. Had lots of steps to get to their home. Beautiful grounds. Gave us great restaurant recommendation for Biloxi fantastic breakfast was served. Heard guests upstairs so difficult to rest and relax. Their baby was ill and cried much of our stay
We were traveling from Texas to the Panhandle of Florida as Irma was working her way up through Florida. We were worried about heading to FL while Irma was still pushing through. We contact Tux Creek Inn and Donna was so wonderful to offer us a room not knowing if we'd need it or not and didn't even ask for a deposit. Well we wound up staying there for 2-nights and it was wonderful!! The place was so peaceful and the breakfasts were delicious!! The Inn made it so easy to go and explore Biloxi and the wonderful beaches. We brought our Husky with us and it was fabulous!!!
We enjoyed staying at Tux Creek Inn. The family made us feel very welcome, and took very good care of us. Our room was spacious and the bed was excellent. The bathroom was a little small, but functional. The breakfast they serve is all home cooked and exactly what you would expect from a classic southern home. In other words, the food was incredible and there was more than you could eat! I would definitely reccomend this B&B to friends.
Everything here was just perfect. The house, grounds, and rooms are wonderful. Donna, the owner, and her family are so sweet and accommodating, you will totally feel at home. They are dog friendly which is a must for us and our little Bentley made friends with Shadow, one of the sweet resident dogs, and had a great time playing with him. We had breakfast in our room and the food was delicious, the creme brulee French toast is amazing. Unless we have to, we won't stay anyplace else on the Gulfcoast from here on out. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience during our much needed getaway.
