This is dive resort in a league of its own. A lovely well thought out boutique hotel with a causal elegance and relaxing ambiance. The rooms are spacious with lovely views of coconut trees and the incredibly beautiful ocean glimmering. The beach was great with shade under the trees and lounge chairs for sun bathers. In the rooms the air conditioning worked perfectly and was quiet, but even more importantly the bed was the sort that you normally find at a five star resort, a giant soft and very comfortable mattress that gave you an excellent nights sleep. The Wi-Fi was fast and included. The owner Ryshyn was well spoken and a wonderful host, fun to chat with, smart, a great dive leader, good sense of humor, great positive attitude, informative, and on the ball. He really worked hard to make the whole experience exceptional, from the diving, swimming with the Manta Rays, to making sure everyone was safe, having fun and taken care of. Every detail was attended to with a smile. We loved the restaurant and while the menu was limited (to be expected on a small island in the middle of the Indian Ocean), the food was decent. A special thanks to Mannish (spelling?) our waiter, always a big smile, remembered all the details of our food preferences, prompt service, with a great attitude. Every detail of this hotel was excellent, from the flatware, fresh juices, to the cool music softly playing in the background. We loved that you could walk down the beach and then along the airstrip, past the harbor and back to the resort at Sunset time. The tiny village in the middle allowed visitors to see how Maldivian people live and everyone was friendly and cordial to us. We highly recommend this hotel and the Liquid Salt dive company (same owner). If your going to the Maldives this is the a gem!

We visited the Aveyla last November, staying for 2 weeks,to spend time with the Manta Rays, and had the most amazing time, nothing disappointed me, the sea stunning, the dive school, professional, yet super supportive and fun, the guest house, clean, comfortable, the meals tip top, the staff make the place, friendly and most helpful, always smiling, everyone appears to enjoy being part of the set up, would recommend for all, everyone is welcomed and lookes after. We loved it,so much, we have just returned for a weeks break, and will be returning. If you thinking of learning to dive,do it here, in beautiful clear waters, you will receive a warm welcome and given much support. Thanks so much for the trip to Sand bank..we will not forget that, and for finding us the Sharks!. I have not written a review before, as wanted to keep this place

We stayed 3 days in this idyllic place.
The guest house has 16 rooms, with many with great views over the ocean.
The guest house is right by the beach with very nice lounge area outside and a very inviting common area.
The rooms are spotless and modern, and are cleaned several times a day.
Staff at reception and restaurant are very nice and will do their utmost to assist. Maldivian hospitality at its best.
If you are a diver, this place is a must as it also organise daily diving trip to many great diving spots in the area. They also organise trips to Hanifary bay to snorkel with Manta rays (a must do in Baa atoll). All of it at a fraction of a price one would pay in a resort. They monitor presence of manta rays in Hanifaru with drones and thus would guarantee sightings as a result.
Highly recommended. We will come back.

I had the pleasure to stay in Aveyla Manta Village for 5 nights and I was extremely surprised that such a low profile island like Dharavandhoo had one of the best managed and maintained hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay at.
Aveyla is a boutique hotel that offered the right blend of luxury and comfort without breaking your wallet.
What was most pleasant was the fact that the hotel manager (Mr Hamed) was greeting the guest in the morning addressing them all by name, which is something I have never seen in hotels.
The attention to details was impressive and everything seems tailored to the customers' needs.
Highly recommended.

We had the most peaceful, idyllic holiday at this charming boutique resort. Aveyla feels like home... If home was in paradise.
Wonderful hospitality from the smiling staff and the amazing Ahmed who made sure that every little desire was fulfilled. From the time we landed at Male, there was someone waiting to lead you seamlessly to the next step of the journey, we didn't have to worry about a single thing. Our room was comfortable and faced the sea, the hammocks outside invite you to kick back and just relax. The food was simple and delicious.
But it was special in a way that holidays rarely are because Ahmed is truly Superman in disguise, from swimming with the mantas to diving off the reef, from my super romantic beach dinner to the fabulous Manta cake he flew in for Male for me as a surprise... he made sure that everything was just perfection. We came back feeling pampered and cared for in a way that even extremely fancy hotels wouldn't have a clue of how to achieve.
Thank you Ahmed, Mipoo, Manish and all the wonderful staff at Aveyla for a perfect holiday 🤗

Thai place is totally a heaven,I was staying here for like 12 days and experienced something incredible,it’s right next to the beach with very good vibes around, the food is amazing, staff is reallly really friendly , kids playing around makes it more like homeland, even the local people on the island are so polite and helping and even welcoming.
It’s seriously a very good luck to experience something what you haven’t experienced ever.
And they organise the manta snorkeling which makes it more interesting and a lifetime experience, these guys make you feel so comfortable and help you in a manner before the dive that you actually forget everything and enjoy the ocean leisurely.
This place is perfect family holiday and even couple friendly.
I would like to come back here more often.
Speacial thanks to Ahmed for the best hosting and making everything very much interesting.
Love manta village, I would like to recommend it even to everyone I know because it’s not very expensive also like other resorts in Maldives.

This was our first visit to the maldives. The whole week was full of incredible diving and snorkeling experience. My sister learnt to dive with the liquid salt divers- Ryshyn and Dhaano, both instructors were very professional and helped her gain confidence in the water very quickly. I am a novice diver myself and had the most unforgettable experience diving with the team. They really are dedicated to make sure you get the most out of your time with them. The trips to Hanifaru Bay were fun and we got to snorkel with the beautiful Manta Rays both times we went out. We are both vegan and our dietary requirements were well catered for. Mannish made sure we had enough vegan options to chose from, he even wrote out a vegan menu for us. The food was simple but very delicious. The staff were all friendly and made us feel comfortable. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel and experiencing the beauty of Baa Atoll.

Aveyla Accommodation & Liquid Salt Divers – A Memorable Stay and Dive Experience

My stay at Aveyla Accommodation was fantastic. The room was very comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The guesthouse has a peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to unwind and take in the beauty of the island.

Diving with Liquid Salt Divers was the highlight of my trip. The team is professional and knowledgeable, ensuring safe and exciting dives at breathtaking locations. The underwater life is amazing, and both seasoned divers and beginners will find something to love.

I enjoyed my experience so much that I hope to return not just as a guest, but as a friend. The warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression, and I truly hope to stay in touch. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay and an unforgettable diving experience, I highly recommend Aveyla and Liquid Salt Divers.

I stayed at the hotel for 6 days and couldn't have a better experience. I was in one of the rooms on the ground floor, in front of the beach. The room was clean and very well equipped, with a fridge and a safe, a/c and fan. The views were beautiful. The bikini beach is literally in front of the hotel. It’s a white sand beach, very clean, with clear waters, which allows bathing and snorkelling. Very friendly and accessible staff. They came to pick us up at the airport and allowed us to stay a little later than check out. The food is quite good and in abundance. Especially breakfast, with the traditional Mashuni. Highly recommended experience.

The rooms are equipped with everything you need. One side of the hotel overlooks a quiet street, the other the ocean. I was incredibly lucky to fall asleep every night to the sound of the waves. Hotel owner Reshin, who is always in a good mood - a wonderful diver, and an extraordinary man takes everyone on his own every day to a comfortable boat. Next, you can snorkel or dive, whoever's closer. The boat crew is tight-knit. Guys accompany divers, entertain tourists, distribute drinks and food, and happily talk about the surrounding beauty. Trips on a separate boat are organized for groups of tourists at very reasonable prices. A separate word I want to say about nutrition: it is 3 times and very impressive, abundant with fish, chicken, vegetables and fruit. Rice is the mainstay of the dishes, but the cooks cook it so variedly that in a week it surprisingly doesn't get bored. Impressions - sea and ocean! I'll definitely come back here again and again. Memories of cyclone manta, tiger sharks, packs of dolphins, underwater reef dwellers warm the soul even in the most difficult of times, creating solid foundations for the future...

Domestic flight was the only one that I was aware of. There may be a ferry or small speedboat, but I imagine that is significant investment of time and/or cost.

Not expensive, on average we spend less than US$10 per meal each excluding drinks. However, there’s also restaurants nearby which is also not expensive.
