First of all, I did not stay there and only had a night out in this place over New Years. But what I have seen is absolutely disgusting. During New Years the poorly maintained men's room (no soap etc.) was closed to make room for ladies and men were directed to a long drop nearby. It smelled like 3 day...

We camped in Land Rover rooftop tents for a few nights whilst diving in Tofu. The campsite is basic with a communal cooking area as fires/braais are not allowed. The supply of hot water and electricity was a little sporadic which was frustrating but perhaps to be expected in Mozambique. The bar area is pleasant and a good place to...

camped at Fatimas Nest's large camping site which was cool and calm. great guests to mingle with. great view of the ocean n beach. always walk barefooted, the sand is awesome between toes n shoes defeat purpose..however, the campsite kitchen is soo bad, no cutlery, we had to borrow some from the restaurant to slice our veggies, no dishwashing liquid,...

Great location, that's the main attraction. But besides that, it's a poorly maintained hostel. Horrible staff, very unfriendly. Dirty beds. Dirty bathrooms & toilets. Price changed 'all of a sudden'. Food is decent, try the lobster! Looking for a better quality option: Mozambeat.

We stayed for 2 nights in a double bungalow with ensuite bathroom. Only because other guest houses were fully booked. Very expensive for what you get! No towels, poor light and poor beds. Bedbugs also!!! No breakfast included. Greedy, unpersonal staff and you have to pay extra for everything! I understand young backpacking people go there to meet others, but...

We stayed at Fatima's Nest camping for 5 nights.. I wish it could be 5 weeks! The place is just amazing, located few meters from the beach and the view is stunning! The service was nothing special, but its low price and the fact that there were self-catering facilities compensated it! Just go there and spend unlimited hours in front...

I want to warn people about the island tour!! The waiter in Fatima's restaurant called Robbie is responsible for the tour and sold us on the idea. It sounded really good - going to an island, meeting the chief of the island, eating a big breakfast and lunch, and then snorkeling a bit. All for 1600 mets. And since other...

I stayed two nights in their beach bungalows. For the price, I've stayed in way much better serviced bungalows around the world. The room quality is poor, with only plug to connect and no adapter to use multiple appliances. The room light is poor at night. The path to the room is sand and since the shared bathroom is far,...

We booked into Fatima's in Maputo and were sucked into the 10% discount by paying up front for our 6 nights with Fatima's in total and also the shuttle door to door service to Fatima's in Tofo. We paid 1500mets for a beach front chalet - this chalet was a room and when we opened the door, yes we could...

We stayed there one week and slept only one night in dorms, so we will give only the opinion on the campsite. For the price it was really a good option, the camping ground is away from the bar which can be noisy. The negative point is the bathroom which is quite old and water is brown because boiled in...
