Really disappointed with this hotel. I need an accessible room as I have a cast and cane. The first room they gave me was at the far end of the building on the second floor, and not accessible. The second room is about as far from the desk as one can get and has grab bars, but I am physically unable to lift my leg over the edge of the tub. Yes, tub. For the 3 days I'm here I am paying for a shower I can't use. There is also no soap in the bathroom - who needs to wash their hands in a pandemic? You're right...I should call the desk. Oh, wait...I did. The phone rang at least 15 times with no answer and no way to leave a message. Just really disappointed...
I would rate this location is very poor. There was no mention of a pet policy when making the reservation or when checking in. Once we were checked in and settled in the room we received a phone call from the front desk saying that it was a no pet motel. Upon turning the keys in and leaving to find another hotel, the man behind the desk was very rude and short and saying we would not get a refund for the night. I will bring it up with American Express. We went down the road to the La Quinta And received great service and a friendly staff. A much nicer room, welcome in our Pat, and only $10 more than what we were being charged at this hotel.
Rooms were dirty, doors rusted, paint peeing off ceiling. Bathroom had mold. Wasn’t allowed to use pool. Noisy, people fighting and screaming in hallways and parking lot. Children running all over without masks. Walls cardboard thin. Staff was awful. Only stayed two hours and charged for full night
We were worried about staying in a motel but this was right off the highway and we felt safe. It was clean in this world of Covid. Also a GREAT value! The people working check-in and check out was very efficient and friendly.
Keep looking. When Radisson bought this chain they committed to investing in the properties. That was needed and I applaud them for that. What I never expected was they would make it worse. The new room carpets remind you of a locker room at a gym. Ugly, uncomfortable to bare feet, and very unwelcoming. The rooms smell awful, are very stark and unfriendly feeling, davenport is uncomfortable, bed is average to say the best, took away the coffee table in the suites, towels are as thin and cheap as you can find, and so on. They attempt to get cute by putting in. “Red” chair. Also uncomfortable. You would think that if you invested the dollars they did buying this company they would want to maximize their investment. Maybe by going as cheap as they could they believe they are. Not intended to break back customers. Now the plus side! Welcoming staff was great and the food was very good. Cookies are a great touch. Housekeeper was barely average.…
