My room was large and had a big window, but the property is in desperate need of a fix up. I have no other details to add about this property except to say that I might try to find a different Inn should I return to Crackingotn Haven.

I've been to crackington haven many times before, but it has been 4 years now. Every time I come I have to go to the Coombe Barton. I'd never been disapointed. The bar staff this time were lovely and the food ok, nothing special but pleasant. Unfortunately the sour faced lady behind the food bar was rude and abrupt. Maybe... More

We stayed in the lodge, which is self catering, with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/ lounge. It was clean, mainly quiet, and very comfy. Looks like it was recently refurbished. The only negative was, being located in the car park at the back of the pub, when people left at closing time their headlights shine right into the main bedroom. A... More

Staying locally we arrived early and met other family members here for a drink. Lovely location overlooking beach but first impression was that it looked a little tired. However we received a friendly greeting and bonus that dog allowed in bar area. We decied to return later to eat as they were able to accomodate our party size and dog... More

Stayed here for one night while walking part of the coastal path. I was so pleased that it was actually on the path and didn't require any locating ... It was a welcome sight 😄 the room was comfortable and dinner and breakfast were exactly what we needed. Staff were all friendly and there was a lovely local atmosphere.

Came here on a family trip, and ended up coming back and back!! Really lovely freshly cooked, local food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great location overlooking the beach. Good selection of beers, wines and ciders, all local. Will definitely be returning! Small tip - make sure you spot the car park at the rear to avoid having... More

Stayed just one night here. Friendly and helpful ownership and staff, room and shared bathroom OK but in need of refurbishment (the suggestion was that this is in hand). Food good and atmosphere in the bar/restaurant area fine if you don't mind sharing it with others and their many dogs (barking). P.S. No mobile signal.

We stopped off for lunch after a coast path walk and were impressed by the menu and service. We had a 1 year old in tow and we're welcomed in the bar area and made to feel at home. If there's room in their car park you also save the public car park charge!

We met up with very long lost friends at the Coombe Barton Inn and for that purpose it was ideal. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, even when we were the last people in the pub, still chatting away long after they probably wanted to be off home. The location is superb, set in a west-facing cove with a... More
