I have camped at Kamp Dels for several years. Big mistake! They do not keep the docks, pontoons (Pontoons can be rented with metal folding chairs to sit on and they are breaking down all the time!) and areas of the grounds up. They have mounds of debris, rusted metal and trash they leave sitting out and small children are playing on these mounds of dangerous garbage. They have not followed the social distancing guidelines with Covid. They continue to have weekend dances with people inches away no mask, no social distancing. They are extremely rude. They make up lies on how they can not do anything for you. Huge disappointment with the staff and for the price you pay. I would not go here! It may look pretty in the pictures but it is a nightmare. Run...do not go here! Oh and the water is disgusting here! Fishing is horrible!

This was our second year at Kamp Dels and we loved it and made some wonderful memories. Got a better camping site this year, more shady trees and a little more private. The water park is awesome and the perfect size imo. There’s plenty to keep everyone busy but not so huge that it’s overwhelming. The mini golf, fishing pond, playgrounds, were all an added bonus. They did a great job of navigating covid by allowing people in the pool in 2 hour shifts and it worked out well. The only downside was a lot of intoxicated parents- some drunk guys playing shuffle board and dropping F bombs before they realized our daughter was there. Also on our third night a rowdy group of drunk people moved in a couple of spots down and were very loud up til 10:59- but thankfully they DO enforce the quiet hours from 11 pm on. The staff are all very nice and we enjoyed everything for the most part. We will be back next year!

Our daughter loves animals so we thought the zoo would be great for her. They were not open the hours stated on their website instead only opening for 2 hours at night. All day we had to walk by and explain to her that we couldn’t see the animals because it was closed. Staff came into our camp site with a skid loader to empty the fire pit as we were all standing around out there and the wind blew the ashes all over us. They also came into our camp site to mow lawn running into our chairs that were sitting out. Couldn’t theses things have been done after we checked out the following day. The whole camp ground was empty except seasonal sites it’s not like sites are booked back to back. I hated having to go into the office because of the crabby lady (possibly owner/manager) that likes to explain why they charge extra for this and that and everything even when it’s not an issue and does not apply to us. Yes, I understand that if we get there before 2pm you will change us more because check in isn’t until 3. We didn’t say we wanted to come early but thanks for telling me that people like to take advantage and check in at 8 am. Maybe it’s because other campgrounds allow and even encourage that you get the most out of your stay because they want you to have a great experience and it really doesn’t make a difference to them. But thank you for making it clear that you are all about the money and couldn’t care less about the customers experience, that was made very clear over and over again during our four day stay. The flys were terrible also making it hard to enjoy time outside.

i’ve been here for a couple years as a seasonal, workers are very nice and helpful. the price for seasonal are going up a lot, food is a little to expensive at the snack shack. pool is crowed even with the new pool they made. after a couple of years here it’s boring for me and my friends(we are 10-14 in age), the actives they do are repetitive and some are very short in time. but good for a weekend if you have younger kids they have a water park, parks, and petting zoo. one more thing about the pool is there’s no life jackets in the new water park. i would suggest going here for a weekend.

I’ve been a seasonal since the early 90’s..left in 2005 as my kids were in HS and involved in too many things, but returned in 2018 as a seasonal again because of the Pope family...Erin ,Tobin, Nyl, Pat, Kyna, and the whole Pope family are Very caring , so don’t let negative comments stand in your way of checking out Kamp Dels...check it out..I’m sure you will love it! Thru COVID they have kept us informed, and actually offered discounts due to the pools and facilities being closed. No fault of theirs! Thankyou Pope Family..you have went above and beyond!
